Summary:
Stunning 1,200 square foot apartment with oversize windows, an open layout, and city/lake views in multiple directions. This bright and modern two bedroom, one bathroom corner unit is perfect for travelers looking for a stylish escape in the sky in downtown Chicago just off the Magnificent Mile and the lakefront. The building has great amenities including an amazing rooftop terrace with 360 degree views of the skyline and the lake. This is the best location in the city!
The Space:
Located on a high floor in a secure, high-end building in the center of Chicago! Once inside, you're greeted by a light-filled space with large windows overlooking the neighborhood.
Interior design is a passion of ours and the chic furnishings reflect that! There is fast internet, a smart TV with Roku, and comfortable modern furniture to lounge on.
The kitchen and living room are open and very spacious. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and all the tools you need to cook a great meal. We have 2 counter stools for the kitchen and a 4 person dining table. Plenty of room to dine comfortably or to use as a workspace.
For each guest, the comfortable beds have crisp, clean linens and the bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and bath products. Sleeping arrangements are as follows:
Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Living Room: Queen sleeper sofa
We also provide towels, iron, cleaning supplies, etc. and you have full access to the building's 24/7 laundry room (card operated). The apartment has ample closet space.
The building has a doorman and great amenities including a gym, a rooftop terrace with sun beds and lounge seating, a gourmet coffee shop, and an indoor club room with a pool table that can be enjoyed during colder weather. The panoramic city and lake views from the rooftop are truly awesome year-round!
Guest Access:
You'll have complete and private access to our apartment. You will also have access to all of the building's shared amenities (rooftop deck, gym, club room, business center, etc).
The Neighborhood:
Located in a leafy, upscale neighborhood just off Michigan Avenue in one of the most central locations in the entire city! You are surrounded by world-class architecture, shopping, beaches, parks, and other sites within walking distance. From our place, you can easily walk to the Magnificent Mile, Oak Street Beach, the Lakefront Trail, River North, and Navy Pier as well as numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes. Attractions such as the Art Institute, the Central Loop district, Lincoln Park, and the West Loop restaurant row are only a 5-10 minute ride away.
Getting Around:
Our place is surrounded by trains and buses that will take you anywhere in the city you want to go! Uber and Lyft is also available 24/7. You'll have no trouble getting around without a car.
Parking is not included with our listing, but our building has its own parking garage and there are other garages close to our building (within 2 blocks). We suggest using SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book discounted parking. You can usually find reasonable overnight parking for $15 to $30.
Other Things to Note:
Dogs allowed with prior approval only. Please inquire about breed restrictions. 35 pound weight limit. $35/night per pet fee applies. Unauthorized pets will incur a $500 fee.

Our trained staff uses gloves, masks, and other personal protective equipment during cleanings. We are dedicated to ensuring a safe stay for every guest.

Perfect location for visiting Water Tower Place, Hancock Building, and Navy Pier! Clean with more space than you might expect from a condo downtown. The building also has nice amenities. Be sure to check out the roof deck!

We enjoyed and walked the area extensively. Great location and we felt cool riding on the L line to wrigley field and guaranteed rate field to see games.

Venetian blinds were broken. No blackout curtains in bedroom, so bright lights shining in all night. Bathtub taps don’t work very well. Fridge and very old air conditioners very loud. Floors and carpets not clean. Windows dirty. Various lights burnt out. Kitchen cupboards poorly supplied with bare minimum. When i complained the management dismissed all my comments!!!

The apartment was just as advertised. The location couldn’t be better. Walkable to everything. The space was clean and well-appointed. The views were terrific and the rooftop space was nice for morning coffee from the shop downstairs. Hassle-free check in and check out. We’d stay again.

Great stay, my only critique would be to have more wash towels accessible. As a family of 4, there were only 3 wash towels for our 2 night stay

My husband and I spent a long weekend with our adult son and had a great time! We come to Chicago often but this was our first time using VRBO. The condo was great - clean, lots of space, comfortable beds and furniture, quiet, and the location was perfect! We love to walk everywhere and the location in the neighborhood was perfect - close to the lake, parks, shopping and dining. Views from the unit are excellent. Even enjoyed the great rooftop for wine in late October. We highly recommend!

Wonderful location and view of the lake. Check in went easily and the response to our questions during our stay were extremely prompt. As mentioned in previous reviews, the bathroom is in need of some minor maintenance. Otherwise enjoyable stay for our family!

Our stay was really nice. The apartment was clean, spacious, had a great view, and we LOVED the rooftop. The apartment is a block from the John Hancock and a block from Lake Shore Drive so great location. Parking isn't included but we found a spot through a parking app.

Booked this place for our annual friend’s trip and it was in the perfect location to everything. Very walkable to take in all the sites the city has to offer. The management was great communicating with us and keeping us updated. The views were great! Highly recommend!

We were just passing through Chicago for a few days and really loved this location.
We were doing college tours with our son and had our dog along with us for the trip. For us, this was a perfect location with a great dog park only a block away and easy access to lots of amazing restaurants. We also enjoyed the proximity to Oak Street beach.
Condo was very comfortable and relaxing during downtime. The unit is a bit older, but met our needs (closet doors, bathroom fixtures kept coming off...but reported for fixing). Beds and furniture were nice. Note, while they kitchen had plates, glassware, etc. they do not provide any additional supplies (very common post-COVID). I did not expect any, but do appreciate when hosts provide some basic items so that you do not need to purchase items that could be shared / reused that just go in the garbage.
Note, to keep it simple, we did use the in building parking, but was more expensive than expected. We were told that it would be $30 per day, but after pulling in was told it was now $38 per day and an extra $5 every time you take your car out.
We would return based on location, but hopefully not need a rental car :-)

This was the perfect unit for our family of 3 couples visiting Chicago! We walked everywhere and took the red line train to a few Cubs games! Unit is exactly as pictured and was very clean and stocked well with what we needed. Communication with the host was excellent! The building also has a concierge, a cute coffee shop on site, a club room for larger parties to hang out, a beautiful rooftop space to enjoy the views and relax, and also a fitness center! Little markets are nearby too! It is one block off Lake Shore Drive with easy access to the lake to walk and enjoy! Super close to great restaurants and shops. Would stay again!

We stayed over a holiday weekend with a few friends who came into town from many places. The place was clean, spacious, and was a lovely place to bond with friends. The property owners were very communicative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

I booked this place as I was graduating from Northwestern Law. The location is excellent, close to Michigan Avenue and the Lakefront. Places to eat, everywhere, and great.
The unit itself was very nice. Comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We had an issue with a hair dryer not working, and the management took care of the situation immediately. Everything was really wonderful, and thank you for a wonderful stay.
One point. If you arrive early and use the Bounce app to have your luggage held, the location of the holding place is inside the lobby of the Gold Coast Apartments. Bounce will give you a bar code the desk needs to hold your luggage.

This place was the perfect home base for our family of 4 during our recent visit to Chicago. The location is incredible - just a couple blocks from Michigan Ave! It was nice for my husband and me to have a separate space to relax in after our two girls (ages 7 and 4) went to bed. Checkin and checkout was simple, the apartment clean and comfortable with plenty of space , and the host easy to work with. We would highly recommend and definitely stay here again!

We had 6 women stay comfortably in this apartment for a weekend getaway! We had an amazing stay, and you truly can’t beat the location. That roof top lounge area was a great spot to hang out and relax after a busy day of sight seeing - it’s so beautiful and surprisingly quite for being in downtown Chicago! We would definitely stay here again!
