Riviera's peaceful location is only minutes walk from the heart of Nelson’s Bay vibrant town centre and popular marina. This impeccable, three bedroom, two bathroom, luxurious duplex accommodates up to six guests.
Riviera features an open plan, split level, lounge, dining and fully equipped kitchen, with soaring ceilings, all looking out to expansive water views. The lounge and dining room flow out onto a vast, fully secure, gated entertaining deck, with retractable shade awning, where the breath-taking views can be enjoyed while cooking on the BBQ, eating and drinking at the alfresco dining table.
Bedroom one has a king bed and spacious ensuite. Bedroom two has a queen bed and bedroom three has a solid white timber tri-bunk (double with single above). The main bathroom features a shower over a corner spa bath, perfect for bathing little ones or soaking in yourself after a fun day of exploring the region. For winter bookings, you will enjoy the underfloor heating in both bathrooms.

No need to go abbreviations, just sit ac enjoy the view. But if you do want to venture out it's a short walk to restaurants cafes for some great meals. Unit is beautifully decorated, with comfortable bed and couches. Could do with some sun loungers on the balcony for dinner. All the facilities but bring your own hair dryer ladies.

I trust this message finds you well. I wanted to share some feedback based on our stay at Riviera. While we appreciate your hospitality, there are a few areas that need attention:Rubbish Under Lounge and Beds:We found some overlooked rubbish food packets under the lounge, and a dirty sock under the king bed (as we looked for our daughter’s toy), which is quite revolting if you think about it. A quick inspection around the place would have picked these up right away. Slippery Tiles: The tiles around the property are extremely slippery when wet. A sign would be helpful to notify guests. Worn Appearance: We noticed signs of wear and tear, suggesting a need for updates. Stains on the carpet, bedding, upholstery and spider webs on the ceiling impact the overall appearance of the property. It wasn’t representative of the images we based our booking on. Bathroom Amenities: The dispensers in one shower didn’t have body wash, and both the soap and conditioner in the ensuite were less than half-filled. Fully stocked amenities should be standard. Considering the amount we are paying for our stay, we were expecting a bit more attention to detail and a more personal touch.

Fabulous apartment with breathtaking views across Nelson Bay. The location really is second to none. The home is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Only downside was the gas tank (therefore hot water) running out. Advice from Stay Port Stephens staff was inaccurate and unhelpful - pretty much told to suck it up. Thankfully the usual property manager called us soon after and sorted it out immediately.

You cannot beat this view!! Views of the Bay from every angle except for bedrooms. My Husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in May and could have stayed longer. Very clean apartment and styled in a hamptons theme. Carpet is a bit tired, but i am fussy. Balcony is large enough for a family bbq, but we enjoyed just sitting out there with a drink and watching all the boats come and go and the dolphins swim on occassion. The gas fire pit looked amazing on the balcony however, not sure if it worked and had no instructions.Fantastic position overlooking Nelson Bay, a road behind the apartment is a short walk to the beach and main town, we grabbed a coffee from town each morning.A beautiful apartment in a beautiful location. Shoal Bay Country Club for best meals.

Nice place to stay for the weekend, add was abit confusing with linen etc being included. Was a bit tricky to get to the parking and entrance as you can’t enter via Victoria Parade. The bed we slept in was quite hard and uncomfortable and there was a mug in the cupboard that hadn’t been washed. Great location though within walking distance to main harbor.

Our extended family had a lovely long weekend at Riviera. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable, all modern fittings, beautifully styled and very true to the photos. The view from the deck is amazing. We were easily able to walk to Nelson Bay Beach, the Marina and surrounds. Everyone was happy and comfortable, from kids to grandparents! We did some cooking on the BBQ - beware there are next to no pantry items so bring your own if you plan to cook. Communication & responsiveness from the property manager was timely and efficient.

From the moment you walk in you feel like you are standing on the front of the Titanic. Modern, clean, comfortable home. So close to everything. Had the BEST weekend ever with girlfriends. Will be back for sure

Overall it is a sumptuous, glamorous and comfortable unit and a short walk to town. It would have been perfect and a 5/5 IF there had been instructions when we arrived:
- Spent literally an hour looking through every drawer and cupboard for instructions
- Tried to work out the outdoor gas fire-place and also the retractable awning
- Eventually texted the owners/manager who responded that all instructions are in the link to the pre-check-in questionnaire. So got out laptop, found email, followed link... no specific instructions. Texted back owner/manager who said actually the fireplace is not usable due to safety. In that case it needs to be removed from the listing photographs as it is extremely misleading and we were very disappointed. Remote for awning at the bottom of a basket in the dining room.
- On our second last day no hot water from early afternoon. Went out and figured there would be hot water when we got home. No. Texted owner/manager after hours but no response. No showers that night. Next morning still no hot water so phoned after our hours service. Was told to check fuse boxes which I had done and still no hot water. Finally spoke to very helpful man at Stayz at 9.30am who explained that the hot water is on two gas bottles and one of them must have run out. Had to go outside and switch over the gas bottles. He gave us an extra 30 minutes so we could shower before leaving. Absolutely no warning or instruction anywhere that this could happen and very unfortunate given we were paying $600+ per night. Also when I was trying to work out how to get hot water on the last morning, I found little boxes in the bathroom which switched on the under-tile heating in the bathrooms. Would have been nice to know this on arrival. Again these little things need to be told to visitors. We are not property experts or mind readers. These little things unfortunately do disappoint when you are spending a lot of money for a special trip away and it takes away from what is otherwise a stunning property.

Beautiful Modern Home .Very new and Clean.Fabulous location you can walk to all the beautiful cafes and restaurants.(A bit of a hill/stairs on the way home but great exercise)Our only hiccup was that the cleaner was still there cleaning at 3pm at Check In time - we had to go away and come back half hour later.And there is no Shampoo/Conditioner or Hair Dryer supplied - just thought that was a bit odd.But over all we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Beautiful Riviera.

- Prompt and helpful service - Beautiful location, close to town and beach - Good supply of kitchen utensils etc - carpets were so soft and plush! Only small issues were no face washers supplied (must’ve been simply overlooked) and the neighbours noise travelled through quite loudly at times. Overall a lovely little unit for a few days escape away!
