Beautifully situated amongst mature trees on the shores of Lake McQueeney, this lakefront home will lend a sense of airy luxury to your next Hill Country getaway. On this half-acre property, you'll enjoy a private dock (with two kayaks to take out on the water), an incredible deck with both sun and shade, an outdoor shower, and a private hot tub to cap your daily activities.
This waterfront home was seemingly designed for entertaining, with the open, main living space on the second floor highlighted by a wall of windows and French doors framing Guadalupe River/Lake McQueeney out back. The kitchen is well-suited as a hub of activity, offering a Thermador gas range, double ovens, a built-in refrigerator, a wine fridge, a separate ice maker, custom cabinetry, and Palisandro countertops. Adjoining this space are a grand dining room table, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a large TV, and doors that lead outside to the two-level deck. You can also cook up something delicious on the private gas grill.
Entertainment abounds here, whether you're fishing or kayaking from the dock, lounging on the concrete sundeck, or soaking in the hot tub on the ground-floor patio. There's also a gas grill for afternoon barbecues in the backyard and a game room that encompasses much of the first floor, featuring cedar walls, a hoop-shoot game, a chess table, a wet bar, another fireplace, and a pair of sofas for lounging and watching TV.
The four bedrooms are all on the second floor, each offering its own TV. The primary suite has a walk-in closet and a spa-like bathroom with a jetted tub, a separate shower, and dual vanities. Central air-conditioning and a full laundry room are provided as well.

The house and neighborhood were amazing. Nice and quiet, enjoyable and relaxing!

We loved the house! Super clean and beautiful. We had a group of 8 and there was plenty of space. Only downside was that the pictures online show the kid playground in the backyard, we were bummed to find this is no longer there.
The kids did still enjoy the basketball and arcade games.
Beds were nice, but if you do not like firm pillows I would highly recommend brining your own 😊!
Kitchen has very nice amenities!
Were were able to connect our Samsung devices to cast and watch the Olympics but Apple devices would not connect.
Overall very good exp and we would stay here again.

Master is amazing. Downstairs Fun Room, plus Bathroom with shower gave 3 showers. Outside was nicely set up, right on the water.

The house was a perfect size for a family get together. Plenty to do for all ages. Loved that the downstairs had plenty of activities and could be closed off from the upstairs for quiet at night. We cooked all meals at home and the Only downside was that there weren’t specific cooking utensils for the meals we made such as a mixer or whisk and available spices. Even though the river was low the fishing was great!

The water being low obviously stunk, but that’s not anyone’s fault. Inside the house was perfect for our family. We love to cook and the kitchen did not disappoint. Downstairs was awesome for everyone to play basketball or darts. We spent a lot of time there. Once the water is up we can’t wait to book again.

Our family enjoyed an extended weekend stay at this very appealing property. There was a pleathora of amentities and comfortable accommodations for everyone. The place was clean and stocked with firewood outside and a log in the indoor fireplace as well. Ice machiene on both floors. I would return in warmer months to enjoy the river.

Beautiful and elegant home with great views of the Guadalupe River on the back. The kitchen was spacious and modern. The lighting in every room was adjustable so you can brighten the room to your preferences. The light switches were labeled so you didn't have to be guessing which switch was for what. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, cups, silverware, pots, pans, bowls, trays, coffee maker, toaster oven. The downstairs had a big gameroom and bar area with a big screen TV with lots of sitting. We enjoyed playing basketball and board games. The back porch takes you to a nice sitting area, firepit, and another sitting area overlooking the Guadalupe River. There were lots of bath towels, complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner (travel size). The hot tub was a great bonus. There are two big size refrigerators one in the kitchen and the other in the bar area which came in handy. The home is very spacious and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and will see ourselves coming back.

Love the place everything on point. Very quiet neighborhood and relaxing. The kids enjoy the games and little basketball court inside. The only thing I will suggest to bring blender and an iron because they didnt have that. Everything else is there.

The house was great. Plenty of bathrooms, the downstairs den area with a bar was spectacular. The kitchen was large and made it easy to cook. The house is located a very well kept neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again.

There is ample room for a family of 9 adults, and plenty of cosmetic upgrades. Lots to do - tv in every room, game room downstairs, well-equipped kitchen, 3 1/2 baths and plenty of towels. The downstairs shower was inoperable so that left only 2 showers for 9 of us. Quality of cleaning could be improved- some residue and silverfish found in bedroom drawers, hair under the bathroom toekick, stained sheets.

We were 3 moms each traveling with our 16 year old sons - we have a list of KUDOS, CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISMS/SUGGESTIONS, and COMPLAINTS!
KUDOS: *extra beach towels for hot tub/river use were nice; *kitchen appliances were nice; *beds were comfy; *outdoor seating was nice; *kayaks, stand-up paddle boards & float pad were great; *showers were nice & spacious; *PLENTY of hot water; *the river views were fantastic; *LOVED the security locks placed up high on all doors; *house was very comfy for a large group; *the house 95% clean upon arrival; *washer and dryer!
COMPLAINTS: *bathroom description: description says 4 bathroom house. - it is not - it is a 3.5 bathroom house; *faucet in shower in downstairs bathroom was completely broken - there was no way to turn on the shower water, so this left us with 2 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms which was a little inconvenient when we were counting on 4 full bathrooms; *not nearly enough towels or washcloths in house; *not enough kitchen towels; *no stopper for the kitchen sink; *door handle on the right French doors on the main living area falls off (on the outside); *the pink bedroom bottom bunk had blood on the sheets!!!; * the Wi-Fi is TERRIBLE!! AWFUL!! BASICALLY NON-EXISTENT!! And we had to have many text exchanges to get the Wi-Fi password - and in reading reviews we were not the only people with this problem. And to further the matter, we could never even find the modem and/or router to perhaps try resetting it - this needs to be addressed!; *description said outdoor cameras would be capped . . . they were not.
CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISMS/SUGGESTIONS: *need working window coverings in the downstairs game room area for privacy; *1/2 bath toilet runs continuously; *carpets all need SERIOUS shampooing; *back porch area needs pressure washing, major window cleaning; *all patio cushions need to be cleaned thoroughly; *if there was an iron & ironing board we could not find it; *no check-out instructions; *you need a framed list of useful information: Wi-Fi password; numbers to call for emergency; check-in instructions, check-out instructions; list of nearby groceries, restaurants, etc. We all travel a lot and this is something that most places have readily available.

Property was clean and lovely. great location and good repair. Vacasa the property management company is terrible to deal with, and just will not communicate in any reasonable manner.
Will not rent another property managed by them.

The view is in incredible. The backyard was shaded with a play area. My kids loved fishing off the dock (we brought our own poles). I appreciated the safety locks making sure they couldn’t get out without an adult. Take a ton of bug spray because the mosquitoes inside and out are overwhelming. Take absolutely everything you need if you plan on cooking. No basics, not even foil. They don’t give the password Wi-Fi nor do they reply to emails requesting it. Door handles are falling off. None of the faucets work as labeled when it comes to hot and cold. There is no information binder at all. The furniture has a “ordered from Amazon” vibe so don’t count on resting on the couch in the living room. Beautiful? Yes. Will I be back? No. Will I make sure any listing I like on here is not Vacasa ever again? 1000 times yes.

When we walked in the home, we found the kitchen, and just by glancing at it we could tell it wasn't clean. Not to mention dead moth on the stove. Another thing we noticed was the floors were not clean, dead bugs and dirt. We payed a Cleaning Fee, why did we find dead insects and dirt? ... Well we had no choice but to come in and clean the house after all we did rent the house for 3 days. The first morning there we decided to use the kitchen, we turned on the stove and apparently somehow someone left the stove connection lose so as we are cooking our breakfast the stove turns off, we thought the gas ran out, made a few calls, never got a real response or someone who cared. We figured out it wasn't the gas but a faulty cord connection, also had a few breakers shut off in the kitchen as not all the wall plug outlets worked. This home does have a lot of positives but the truth is it's not well managed. Theres is no communication from the property owner and management. In other words NOBODY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU IF SOMETHING IS WRONG. It’s been 9 days since I’ve spoken to someone over the phone in regards to a partial refund… I have not heard nothing from the “property manager”.

The owner had workmen there on the weekend, working on a lift for a jetski. They were there all afternoon and my friends and I (5 single ladies) did not feel comfortable relaxing in the back and enjoying the amenities that I paid for! The property manager promised a partial refund, which I have yet to see...it's been over a month. If we had known there would be workmen on site we would not have booked expecting an enjoyable time at the lakefront area.

Amazing House. Not Impressed With Management.
We loved this house for our annual family lake trip. It was beautiful and clean, had games and activities for little kids, included kayaks and paddle boards for exploring the water, had amazing views of the lake/river, and was so shaded that we didn't feel the extent of the Texas heat. There were also ice makers on both floors which were especially nice during checkout when we needing to load up our coolers.
The listing falsely advertised this house as a 4/4, but it's actually a 4/3.5, with one of the full bathrooms being downstairs where no bedrooms were.
We weren't impressed with the management of this property. It was my first time dealing with Vacasa but booking through Vrbo. I'd much rather be in contact with the homeowner directly; Vacasa removes that ability. Response time from Vacasa for questions submitted online took weeks where you usually hear back from a homeowner within a day or two. There were also some misses in the house and our check-in process. The check-in email left out the WiFi password, so I had to interrupt our vacation to call Vacasa and retrieve that information. There were no check-in, check-out instructions listed within the house so you can only rely on the emails from Vacasa. The house was missing a few necessities: salt and pepper and dishwashing detergent. Although, a massive container of coffee grounds were provided which we used. Finally, there were some maintenance issues: the left side of the gas stove didn't ignite, the master bath's stopper didn't stay in place to hold water in the bathtub, the toilet in the half bath would run and run after a flush, and all the exterior door handles were loose (some loose to the point where they'd fall off when you tried to open or close a door). We reported the gas stove malfunction to Vacasa right away as it was the first thing we noticed when trying to make our first supper. Vacasa told us someone would be coming first thing the next morning to fix it. We never heard from them again and noone ever showed up to fix it.
All in all, we loved the property itself and the location. We'd just rather not go through Vacasa as the management company again.

Well needed Vacation
This house was amazing. The water views and the 3 decks made this house. All we had to take with us is our clothes and food. This is a house that we would rent again.
