Sitting just outside the big city suburbs, this is the place for a quiet yet scenic view of the desert mountains and wildlife! Perfect spot for a family, couple, or group of friends looking to relax and enjoy the Arizona sun away from the big city’s hustle and bustle. With a pool and backyard that has close up mountain views of the iconic Flat Iron in the Superstition Mountains, it is sure to excite you while bringing you a wave of peace and calm. Lounge on the daybed out by the pool, grill up some steaks on the BBQ, or sip your coffee each morning out back while you take in the view. If the weather is on the cooler side, grab a seat in the Arizona room and curl up with your favorite book. At night, unwind around the gas firepit.
Once you arrive and get settled, fire up the grill to get some food cooking or head on out to one of the local restaurants. Then, start relaxing by streaming a movie or show on the living room Smart TV to unwind from an eventful day. There are also some classic games (eg. chess, cribbage, cards, etc) available in case you prefer a TV-free evening. For some quiet time to plan out your daily adventures, sneak away to the den or one of the bedrooms. Between hiking, golfing, horseback riding, steamboat cruising, and exploring the plethora of desert plants at the arboretum, you are sure to find something exciting or interesting to do each day of your stay.
Every morning, choose where you want to enjoy your coffee - outside on the back patio, inside in the Arizona room, or at the breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook enough food for eight, so feel free to make a hearty breakfast and to get everyone involved. If you’re feeling sore from your previous day’s activities, then have a low-key day at the house. Take a dip in the pool to loosen up, or relax on the daybed and just soak up some sun. Have a simple lunch on the back patio before heading out for a laidback afternoon to explore what the nearby areas have to offer. If you feel like going for a drive into the big city, you can check out one of the many casinos or the must-see Musical Instrument Museum in North Phoenix.

The property was ideal for us because
of the location. We love to hike and golf and swim. The community pool is very nice and 3 minutes walking distance. It is also just a 20 minute walk to the grocery store.Within 20 minutes there is all the hiking you can do and the golf is also just minutes away. The house met all our needs and the management company was very good to work with.

Home is very nice and clean. Nice quiet neighborhood. Home could have been a little better stocked. Other homes we have rented had shampoo, body wash, and more bath towels. Overall, very nice home though.

Megan, the property manager did a really good job. We had to burnt out bulbs in the kitchen. She came over right away and replace them very nice property.

Great location. Close to the community pool and hot tub. Nice quiet neighbourhood close to grocery store, good restaurants and hiking trails. Only complaint was it wasn’t stocked well with basic essentials-shampoo, condiments, spices, cards…. Otherwise great place.

Pictures don’t do this property justice. Amazing home, very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the backyard space even though it was a little chilly. Location is great, very convenient to hiking trails and shopping. We would definitely rent again.

Perfect Desert Getaway
The home was ample, beautifully decorated, and complete with practically every amenity we needed while being away from home. It's located in a quite neighborhood that backs up to the Superstition Mountains, and we enjoyed several short trails accessible from neighborhood streets. The property manager was professional and very responsive. The welcome emails and notebook provided offered detailed info. about the home, amenity operations, and expectations, which made it very easy to enjoy everything we wanted.

Quiet and Beautiful
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Gold Canyon. Quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of superstition mountains. Quick car ride to major hiking trails and nice little trails right behind the house. Our children lived in the heated pool. The host was quick to respond to any questions. We would love to come back!

Great Stay and Communication from Host!
The house and location were close to everything we needed. Check in was simple. We had 2 couples staying in the house and the layout was great for privacy. Our communications with Megan were great! She even came out to the house and helped us with the pool vacuum that came off. The house is nicely located out from the busy areas but still very close. We found a lot of hiking trails and enjoyed the pool in the warm weather. Would stay again!!
Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful Property
This was one of the nicest most well stocked properties we have stayed at. The pictures didn't do the house justice, not even close. The kitchen was beyond well stocked with everything you could ever want or need. We would absolutely book this house again.
