About this house rental
Come experience a cozy, modernized 1900 home located in the growing and gritty mixed commercial/residential community in downtown Grand Junction, just blocks away from the Riverfront and Las Colonias Park. The house, a.k.a 805, sits on the same property as our strength and conditioning facility, Ridgeline Fitness. If you are interested in learning more reach out to us!
805 was built in 1900!!!! We've modernized while preserving it's historical charm. Enjoy curling up in cozy bedrooms, one with its own infrared sauna. Then you can hang out in the main room equipped with 55" 4K Smart TV with Sonos surround sound and log into your favorite streaming service (Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, etc) to enjoy music sipping a local beverage in front of the picture window or relax by watching your favorite movie. We (often) have beer on tap in our kitchen kegerator from local Monumental Beer Works and more importantly purified reverse osmosis water to hydrate your Grand Valley adventures.
805 is the building on the property that sits closest to South Avenue, and guests typically access the home from the front door, which faces guest parking on South Avenue. Follow a concrete sidewalk to the front door. There is a motion detecting light to provide a well lit path after dark to the house. There is a security camera both at the front door and the back door of the house for safety. There are NO CAMERAS in the house. Please note that there are three stairs up to the front porch and three stairs up to the rear of the house, thus guests will need to be able to safely navigate a small number of stairs to access the property. There are no stairs in the home.
We have a free, dedicated parallel parking space for guests on South Avenue. There is free on the street parking on 8th street. 805 is a 5-10 minute walk to the best places on Main Street in Downtown GJ. AND bring your favorite bike! The Riverfront Trail (paved) can be accessed in 4 min by bike, and goes all the way to Fruita. Uber and Lyft are also available.
We have decorated 805 with eclectic artwork from our lives for you to enjoy during your stay! Since we don't live on the property, it's our way of sharing our experiences and personalities with you.

The house was very comfortable for a weekend away! Adam was a great host!

We enjoyed this nice clean house in Grand Junction.
The two bedrooms were perfect. The small AC units in each area made it easy to control the temperature.
In the morning, we would recline in chairs and drink coffee on the front porch.
We loved the place and would certainly return.

I had issues getting in to the property my first day which was only a half day rental in agreement with the host. However, the host went above and beyond to fix the issue of me not getting in that first half day (refunding and then some). Place was clean and the host was responsive to make sure everything else was as comfy and clean as can be. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the area. The host makes all the difference going out of his ways to assure your satisfaction.

We really enjoyed our stay in Grand Junction. The house was very easy to find & all check in/out instructions were super easy! Location was great as it was easy walking to downtown for food, coffee & ice cream. Kitchen had everything we needed & was great to be able to do some laundry. Would definitely stay here again!!!

We loved our stay in Adam‘s place! We went to visit the local college and wanted to get a feel for the downtown area. The house had everything we needed and more. Adam has truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. We would definitely go back!

Clean, comfortable base for exploring Grand Junction and beyond. Home is walking distance from the Amtrak station and downtown GJ. Adam has included many nice touches from the welcome board to condiments in the refrigerator to guidebooks for exploring the area. I am a tea drinker and enjoyed the electric kettle and the mini teapot for steeping loose tea. Lovely home.

We loved the spot. Close to everything and big enough for 5. We loved the keg in the kitchen too!

The home was the perfect size — very spacious for me and my husband with plenty of places throughout the space for us to work, and the sauna was a nice touch! Loved having the water filtration system too. The periodic passing train at night did keep us up at first, but then we got used to it. We’ve dealt with more disruptive sounds in hotel rooms. Overall, great, cozy location with lovely plants, book collections, historic accent pieces, and decor. It was close to downtown, a quick drive to many hikes, on a quiet street with all the kitchenware we needed to cook and even got to enjoy French press coffee in the morning.

The place was very nice. We loved the personal touch. With the little note on the dry erase board we had to show it to our granddaughter.

Felt right at home, even didn’t mind the train.

Very nice home, clean, comfortable and conveniently located for our needs. Would stay there again if we had the chance to get back to Grand Junction.

We chose this property based off of reviews and proximity to the downtown area and were even more impressed once we arrived. The property is immaculately maintained, styled, and very, very clean. Everything you could need is there, including numerous books about the local area which was a nice touch. We experienced no issues, other than a cricket that somehow made its way into the house at night and sung his little heart out. We were able to help him out though!
Located near the train tracks so you will hear the trains on occasion, but that is common in many GJ locations, especially in the downtown area.
I would highly recommend this property and when we return will look to stay here again.

This property was great! Stayed at 3 different places on my trip and this was by far the best. We had no problem checking in, there was a nice welcome sign when we first walked in and a lovely guest book that was fun to read. Having laundry on-site was a nice bonus! Individual AC in bedrooms was great because it was very hot when we were there. Beds were very comfortable.
The only thing I did not like was the neighborhood. While it is close to downtown and Las Colonias park which was nice I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking to either of them. The close by park that I thought would be good for the kids is where many homeless people hung out. Some mention on the listing about being in an industrial area of town might have been nice.

This VRBO allowed us to have a stress free and enjoyable vacation. The amenities are abundant. The host has truly thought of everything! We truly enjoyed our stay!

The property was ideal for myself, my wife and our two grandsons. It was well equipped and the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room were supplied with everything you could possibly need for a short stay.
I've never stayed anywhere which had free beer in the kitchen, but that is what Adam supplied with his kegerator. A real bonus!
Adam was a friendly and communicative host who gave us plenty of suggestions for things to do with the boys.
The property's location isn't particularly scenic but it's in a quiet area a short distance from downtown.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Grand Junction and if we ever came back we would stay in this property again.

We enjoyed our stay at this perfect home. The owners have thought of everything! Very well stocked, even items you would not expect! Convenient to downtown and the river park area. Enstrom Candy Factory is just too close, awesome ice cream and the best chocolate! We will be back!

The house was super cute, clean, easily accessible. Check in and communication with owner was easy. Was a real quiet area except for the midnight train that runs through town.

Open floor plan, spacious, spotless and a wonderful home. We enjoyed the time we spent at our “home away from home”. We will definitely stay here again. Close to campus and we walked to most of the places we wanted to experience. Responsive and helpful host. Thanks!

Stayed for a few nights to see our daughter dance in the Nutcracker at the Avalon Theater. The home was clean and nicely decorated for Christmas. It was a great stay! There was a nice IPA in the kegolator!

This 2 bedroom property proved to be better than expected. It was only a couple of blocks walk to Downtown Grand Junction, where we went for dinner 2 of our nights. Parking right in front of the property was no problem.. Most rooms could be adjusted warmer than the housethermostat, if needed.. The place was spotless when we arrived. Many supplies were unexpectedly available (clear food wrap, olive oil, many spices and more). We did not take advantage of the indoor sauna, but it was available to us. The drive to The Colorado National Monument was only 25 minutes, where we spent 2 days exploring , hiking and viewing. Adam was very helpful for any of our needs. We needed his kind assistance in figuring how to operate the TV.
We would stay here again, if available, when we come back to Grand Junction. Thank you. Adam, for renting to us.

The place was great. Location was just ok....industrial feelin which wasn't great but close to old Town. Only negative for me was the bed. I couldn't get comfortable and woke up pretty sore.

Cute, cozy, affordable VRBO! I slept like a baby in the comfortable bed. Enjoyed a cold beer on arrival. What a nice touch.
Nice linens, bath products, etc…
Staying as a solo female, I had only wished the location was a bit more residential.
Adam thought of every detail! Book it!
