Come be our guest in South County R.I.
Our SK cottage is set on a half acre, surrounded by trees and natural brush, giving a private feel, but is in between two quiet residential neighborhoods and is within walking distance to a DD coffee shop, mini mart, and Pizzeria.
10-15 minutes away from URI, SK Beaches, Wakefield Town center, Narragansett, and 25 minutes to Newport.

Warm and inviting. The cottage has the feeling of getting away but being close to it all.
The property has a calming vibe and don’t be surprised if you see little bunnies, birds, and even deer walking through.💗 Relax and unwind under the pergola. Enjoy a fire and make s’mores (personal favorite) with the stone fire-pit. The outdoor space is one of my favorite places and we are excited for you to make memories and connect in this very special space.

We loved our time at this cozy cottage. The place was immaculate, and we felt right at home the second we walked in the door. My mom noted that the detail in the decor of the cottage was perfect. The host was thoughtful and left us some treats to enjoy. Our host Sara was quick to respond to any questions I had. The new addition of the hot tub was a great surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend staying at this great vacation gem.

Super close to URI and close to all of the beautiful areas like Narragansett and Newport and the ferry to Block Island. Enjoyed the privacy of the yard with fire pit and hot tub. Many little touches to make us feel welcome in the home.

Nice house, small but adequate space. Very well stocked with all you might need. Outside was large open space with nice unattached patio area. Dog loved it. Hot tub rocked! New and really nice jets. Very relaxing.

Lovely stay in a perfect location to everything! Host Sara & Dan thought of everything from lint rollers to pet bags, to water in the fridge for our trips. Quiet location and gorgeous pergola with fire pit and dog run for our fur babies to explore the yard. All in all it was honestly the perfect place.

We absolutely loved this house!! It is perfect! Comfortable and cozy with everything that you will need! We were dropping our son off to school at URI, this house was centrally located to everything in the area and SO close to the university!! It was so beautifully decorated and clean! The yard and all the extras were fantastic!! The hosts were extremely responsive and easy to get in touch with! as

Stayed Mon - Fri in July. Host were very responsive, when propane was out quickly had it refilled. House personal touches are well thought out with every thing you might need on hand, left little treats upon arrival, provided coffee, trash bags, paper towels, beach chairs (brand new and comfy)-saved us a lot of room in the car. Super clean, organized and adorably decorated. Property super private and large, beds comfy, linens and towels high end and cozy. We chose to not stay next to the beach in exchange for a larger property for our dogs, and so glad we did. Everything felt super accessible, short drive to beaches. House in neighborhood setting so plenty of places to walk. My only suggestion would be an outdoor hose to rinse off after the beach, we knew there wasn't one (that we could find) so we rinsed our feet/chairs at the beach. We enjoyed the property so much we ate in for most meals, highly recommend Manenuks Oyster Bar (make reservations weeks in advance) and Monahans clam shack for take out seafood -long line went fast, order a beer while you wait, picnic tables to eat there. Best doughnuts I ever had a mile away by URI, I forget the name, but in shopping center by college (next to Caliente's Mexican). Thank you!

My husband and I, our adult son, and his partner stayed in this adorable cottage for two nights and couldn’t have been more comfortable. The property was spotless, exactly like the pictures, and the kitchen was well appointed. The owners sweetly left us some little extras which made us feel especially welcome. We’d gladly stay here again!

We booked this property as first time VRBO clients and were so pleased! Cutest property....pictures completely accurate. Perfect place to stay with our fur baby! Will be booking again this winter to celebrate our birthdays! Stayed 3 nights as a last minute booking and Sara was always responsive with all of our questions as first time VRBO clients.

My sister, our 2 labs, and I stayed at the Cozy Cottage. We loved it. Sara made us feel welcome with chocolates to snack on upon arrival and water in the refrigerator. The cottage is very comfortable and the yard was perfect for the dogs. We were able to rinse them off after the beach with the use of the hose. The kitchen was fully equipped. I'm a decaf drinker and no coffee maker was available for me to make coffee. There was a Keurig, but no decaf pods. That is literally the only thing that was missing for me. I improvised, and there was a DD within walking distance. We will be back again. A great place to stay! Thank you.

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend for a family wedding. The wedding was in Newport RI. We were pleased to find this cottage so close to Narragansett, and Newport. We walked our small dog in the surrounding charming neighborhoods, and we always felt safe. Dunkin Donuts is too close to drive to! We enjoyed walking for a treat there. The hosts also left a list of their favorite local haunts for us to try. The Hosts were attentive and kind. They left chocolates in the fridge, coffee, a Kureg machine, bottled water, and supplied body wash and shampoo and conditioner. They also left a dog bed, food and water bowl for our pup! Plenty of cooking pots and pans were also stocked, though we did not have time to cook. The home itself is a mixture of old and new, a quirky cute cottage feel, and the quirkiness just added to the charm of our vintage New England experience. Nice backyard with fire pit, (though we did not have time to do a fire either) The beds were comfortable with nice blankets etc. We wish the owners success in their VRBO business.

I was very pleased with our stay. The owner was very responsive to inquiries and the personal touches of shampoo, chocolates, but most of all coffee and creamer made the quick trip perfect. If I am ever in need to travel to RI again, I will definitely stay here.

We had such a wonderful experience here! As soon as you walk in it was the cutest little cottage and decorated so beautifully! This was by far the best stay we have a Had! They thought of everything! From the coffee pods for the keurig to the firewood for the fire pit which we were expecting to have to purchase there! Thank you foenthe water bottles for our day trips and the doggy bed was perfect! Loved the line where we could clip our dogs leash in. I mean they thought of everything we could possibly need! And the best part was that it was soo close to URI so my daughter could come and visit anytime. The best surprise was the tiny cottage on the property! My husband used it to work and my daughter used it to read and listen to music. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This property is exactly as pictured. Warm, inviting, clean and comfortable. The communication with Sarah and Dan was wonderful. I have stayed in many rentals, and I have to say that this has been my favorite so far because of the thoughtfulness that has gone into every aspect of the stay. From the dog bowls, and bed to the tie out for the dog outside. The hand written welcome note and gift and chocolates left in the fridge the host goes above and beyond to make this cottage feel like home. Small things that you may have forgotten are there, coffee, creamer, shampoo ect. The property was beautiful and the outdoor area was lovely. It had a nice sitting area and fire pit. Beds were comfortable. I truly enjoyed this rental. you are close to the south county beaches. Let’s be honest in RI you are a close drive to just about everything but this location gives you a quiet retreat at night to come home to. Restaurants are not far and there is a laundromat within a mile should you need one. My daughter, small Doxie and I truly enjoyed this location. We will stay here again in the future.

My partner and I stayed with our two well-behaved small dogs and had a blast here! The host graciously left the kitchen well stocked for any extras we may have needed. Even chilled glasses! The inside was very clean and cozy. The outside was wonderfully secluded and had a beautiful outdoor seating arrangement infront of a fire pit. Our first time to Rhode Island was left very memorable and streamline thanks to this host & property. 10/10 would stay again.😊

SK cottage is a a true delight! We (myself, my mother, my son (age 4) & two dogs) had a wonderful stay. The house is VERY clean & well stocked. The yard is well maintained & very relaxing. I’ve never met more responsive/kind hosts. The house a quick drive to various beaches & we enjoyed exploring black point ruins. Bonus for us was that it’s very close to a dog park as well. Thank you again Sara & Dan we had a blast!

Perfect location to some of the nicest beaches in Rhode Island and great seafood. Everything about the property was perfect. The outside yard space was perfect to relax outside and enjoy the cool evenings in New England. Complete with hanging lights, a little swing, and a beautiful outdoor seating area. The house itself was adorable. Everything was clean and neatly put together. The beds were comfortable and the rooms cozy. The rental owners left notes on recommended restaurants, Wi-Fi passwords, etc. The attention to detail was very thought out and appreciated! Would absolutely stay again! Thank you!!

Perfect house for us. Great backyard with a fire pit. Close to everything including Del’s and Sweenor’s Chocolates! Two of our favorite places. Would definitely rent the house again. They even provided us beach chairs and towels. We highly recommend.
