Halcyon Hideaway just completed renovation last Spring 2024. The home now offers 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, sleeps up to 24 persons, and has a private pickleball court! The home is located in the highly desirable Old Seagrove neighborhood and is only a 5-minute stroll to the beach or Seaside. Amenities include a new heated saltwater pool/spa, deck, outdoor space, natural gas BBQ grill, screened-in front porch, and more! There is parking for 7-8 vehicles.

Maximum occupancy of 24 with 4 King bedrooms, 2 Queen bedrooms, 1 Double Queen bedroom, 1 Double Bunk room, Queen sleeper downstairs, and possible additional bed in the upstairs loft. You’ll enter from the screened-in porch to the open living area with a comfy sectional sofa and 55-inch Roku Flat screen TV. The living area flows to the open kitchen and dining area with raised ceilings. The kitchen is well-appointed with stainless appliances, granite countertops, and a farmhouse sink. A large prep area and/or eat-in island separates the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen island offers a drop-down to desk level for those that want to do a little 'work'.
PRIMARY BEDROOM & BATH
The spacious primary bedroom offers a king-size bed. The large primary bath has double vanities and a step-in shower with a bench, and separate wall and hand-held shower heads.
BEDROOM 2 AND BEDROOM 3
The two additional bedrooms are queen beds. The bath for bedroom 2 has a tub-shower combination. A step-in shower is in place for the bath of bedroom 3. All baths have been updated.
BEDROOM 4
The bedroom down the back hallway has two queen beds with a view of the pool and deck area. A 3/4 bath will be added to this bedroom.

The home was beautiful. Plenty of space for our family of 20. Kids spent most of the time in the pool. Home was stocked very well. Had plenty of towels and necessities to start our vacation. We had a great time. My family loves to cook. Home had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The open floor plan and tv in the dining area was a plus.
I would suggest an additional refrigerator or drink refrigerator. Once you go shopping for people if fills up the refrigerator fast. Somewhere to keep drinks cold would have been nice. We would definitely recommend this home.

Beautiful, clean home! The house and amenities exceeded our expectations. Mitch was back to us within minutes with any questions and was a great host. We hope to be back!

We loved our stay at Halcyon Hideaway. The proximity to the beach, the pickleball court, and the amount of beds for all our people were perfect! Any issues we had were quickly resolved (nothing major, the door to the bathroom didn’t shut fully.) We enjoyed the pool after the beach as well. The house provided tons of beach towels, beach chairs and toys which was so fun for our large group. The only feedback we have is a larger refrigerator or separate drink fridge, more storage for pantry items, and maybe a second washer dryer. But those are not must haves, just for a house that size and with our 19 people, those things would have been a major bonus! We would definitely stay again if we come back!!!

We were the first renters of this magnificent newly renovated and expanded property. It was a great fit for our large, extended family with a big living area and a big dining/kitchen area. The private pool was great, especially for the little children. The very nice “cherry on top” was our own private pickle ball court! Our young adult children were still playing pickleball after 10:00 pm! Management was VERY easy to work with. We will try to stay here again!

We surprised my husband with a family get away for his 43rd birthday. This property was PERFECT for our family of 6. Great proximity to all amenities. The interior of the house was spacious and beautifully decorated and well stocked. We highly recommend staying at this property which looks to be recently renovated. Enjoy the cozy porch, pedal to the beach, or take a swim in the pool! You’ll be glad you stayed here.

We had a wonderful stay at Halcyon Hideaway! The updates through out the house were fantastic. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch every morning with a cup of coffee. The brand new pool, grill and outdoor furniture were wonderful to use during our stay. We also appreciated the amount of beach gear and beach toys provided which our daughter enjoyed playing with and it was helpful that we didn’t need to bring these items with us.
The location of the house is absolutely perfect. Just a short, shaded walk to the beach and also a short stroll into town.
Mitch was extremely helpful and responsive when I inquired about the backyard update status and with any additional questions I had. He also allowed us to check in early which was so appreciated so our daughter could rest after a long morning of traveling. We highly recommend Halcyon Hideaway for your next trip to the Seaside/Seagrove area!

We had a great time at Mitch's place in Seagrove. The beach access was right down the road but the home was just outside of the hustle and bustle of Seaside. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed here during spring break, great location and space. There was no access to the pool but the property management company was very upfront about it. Close to the sea and the square. Quiet at night and we loved the screened in porch and swing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in October! The cottage is delightfully charming and the location is ideal, right in the heart of Seaside. We rented a golf cart for the were able to get everywhere we needed to go easily that way…Beach access 2 minutes, Seaside square and Publix around 5 minutes. The manager is extremely responsive. We would absolutely stay there again!

Great location, very short walk to beach & other seaside attractions. Owner was quick to respond to any questions that I had & also allowed us to get in to the property early on the day of our arrival. Appreciated being able to book for less than 1 week as we usually have to return early for my daughters sports. We had a wonderful time & will likely rerun again next year!

We are so grateful we got to stay in this lovely home. The house is in a fabulous location. We rode bikes everyday to the beach, stores and Restaurants. We rode our bikes one street over and cruised around seaside which was magical. The screened in porch and swing were so nice to sit out on in the evenings. The house is beautiful on the inside, clean and decorated perfect. The bedding was so comfortable and we had so much space between all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. The management company was beyond helpful and went out of their way to tell us where to visit, eat and to rent bikes (which was the best idea ever). Our family was so sad to leave and we look forward to coming again to stay in the fall.

The property was priced well for the area and was available to us last minute. I also had good communication with the property management company.

This property feels secluded and private yet so close to all that the Seaside and Watercolor communities have to offer. The pictures are accurate and we found the house to be cozy but plenty of room for 8 people. The screened in porch was enjoyed by all as well. I definitely recommend if you are looking to stay in the Seacrest area.

Pros: The house is very clean inside. We liked having a full bathroom for each of the 3 bedrooms. The bedding & towels were sufficient. The master bed & bath is very spacious. The other two bedrooms were tight, but the bathrooms were nicely sized. The kitchen had all of the supplies you will need. The laundry room large and working properly. Lots of TV’s!
Cons: This area of Seagrove is in the less desirable DIRT ROADS, very dusty, lots of potholes, difficult terrain for bikes and golf cart. It’s pitch black at night making it hard for our teens to ride their bikes home from town in the dark. It’s also heavily wooded in this part of Seagrove, which some people might like but for us it made everything very dirty. Pine needles everywhere. It tracks debris from your shoes into the house. Mosquitoes love it here! We had to be very careful not to leave doors but a few mosquitoes managed to sneak into the house and we were all bitten up.
Overall: it’s a lovely house that we did enjoy and do recommend. What we did not care for (dirt roads and wooded area) is no fault of the property itself. The management company was very nice to deal with. We prefer a more manicured landscape.

The property was very clean and of course the location was great. We had lightbulbs burn out in one room and they came over within a few hours to take care of it, so very responsive and pleased with the management.

This place was just a short 5 minute walk to the beach. It was nice having a place slightly off of the main strip on 30A to give us some privacy. The house itself was very nice.
