Welcome to “Twin Palms Surf Shack” in beautiful Ventura, CA. We offer an upscale laid back beach bungalow with all of the amenities.
Our Ventura Pierpont Beach beach house is family friendly and just footsteps away from the sand. Our newly renovated beach house is cute + cozy and the perfect getaway!
Home is 2 bedrooms + 1 bathroom and sleeps 6. Both bedrooms have queen beds and a rollout couch is in the living room.
2 Bicycles, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrella, corn hole, foosball table, arcade dual basketball hoop, outdoor shower, and huge backyard with outdoor table with chairs. much more all available for your stay.
Full kitchen with plates, utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker and everything you need for each meal.
Our single story beach house has an open floor plan with the kitchen and living room flowing together. There is plenty of natural light that flows throughout the home.
Wifi, Direct TV, Flat Screen TV in living room, brand new Kitchen Aid appliances and fridge, brand new washer and dryer. Beach and bath towels available.
Fully stocked with local coffee beans to start your morning right.
Ventura Pierpont Beach is a quaint beach where you can relax, enjoy surfing, waves, walks, seashell + sea glass hunting, great food, shopping and stunning sunset views.
Within minutes you can walk to Seaward Ave. and enjoy numerous restaurants such as seafood, American pubs, Thai, Italian, and the extremely famous Surf-N-Yogurt.
The Marina Park, Starbucks, and VONS Grocery Store are also within a short walking distance. A short drive or bike ride will take you to Ventura Pier or Ventura Harbor Village where you can enjoy Channel Island boat excursions, whale watching cruises, deep sea fishing and kayak/boat rentals. In the summer months, hop on the free Ventura Trolley to Downtown for more shops, restaurants, movie theaters and historical sights.

We came for the fair and visit family. Location was perfect for both. The ocean is so close and beautiful view. Our host was the absolute best and easy to communicate with. Definitely would book again.

Loved this neat little beach house! It had everything we needed and overall everything was in great shape. Visiting my sister in Ventura West Marina, we were able to have her over for snacks and visiting. Especially loved to enjoy coffee on the front patio and hear the ocean in the distance! Neighborhood was quiet and it was easy to be respectful of longtime neighbors. We wanted to stay longer but unfortunately had to get back to LA. Will definitely consider again for the next time we visit Ventura!

We had a fantastic stay here! The location was perfect- 2 minute walk to easy beach access. The space was comfortable with everything we needed. We used the bikes a lot- about a 5 minute ride to bike path. It was nice to have access to beach chairs, umbrella, towels, etc. We all had fun with basketball hoop game in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals there- the coffee and chips were a fun treat. Host was very responsive. We would happily stay here again.

Can't say enough about the great location of this Beach Bungalow in Ventura. Literally steps away from the beach, and an easy walk (or bike ride) to many restaurants, breakfast options, and (my favorite) tap rooms!
Communication with David was fantastic...and I especially loved the amenities that were already stocked up in the garage. We took advantage of the 2 bikes that were there as well as the beach chairs ready to be grabbed and walked down to the beach. The bungalow is not huge, but with two bedrooms and a fold-out couch, our family of five (two parents and three adult daughters) had plenty of room to relax and sleep to get ready for another full day of Ventura (and Ojai) adventures!
My eldest daughter had to work remotely during the day, and the wi-fi was excellent to allow her to do so.
We would definitely stay again for all of the above reasons...plus the bungalow was very clean, everything worked, and we could tell that David was continuing to work on updating the place, so I am confident it will be in just as good of shape, if not better, for future visits.

The property was really cozy and in a great location! We stayed with another couple while in town for a wedding, and took advantage of its proximity to walk and bike to restaurants and beach areas. Enjoyed the games in the garage as well! David was a great host and easy to reach. I would definitely stay here again!

The home is beautiful. I stayed with just my dog and I. But I had family over a lot. They have small kids under 5 it’s a safe and fun area for the kids to play in the house and out on patio there are lots of toys they really enjoyed. The home is a short work to the beach I walked some many times I just loved the beach area. Thank you for an awesome week.

The bungalow, with the two bedrooms, was the perfect size for our family of four. We were able to cook and enjoy leisurely, quiet breakfasts, and comfortably take care of some work on our laptops as well. The kids loved the short walk down the block to the beach every day. We also really enjoyed the proximity of the bungalow to everything!

Hubby and I enjoyed our stay at this cute Ventura beach cottage. It was so nice to be steps from the beach and very close to the harbor. Home was comfy, clean and perfect for our weekend enjoying the boat light parade at the harbor.

We enjoyed our stay at this cute newly updated beach house with a couch that pulls out to a bed in addition to two queen beds. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants and east freeway access. Fun stuff for kids, basketball, foos ball, etc.

We have been renting summer houses in the Pierpont Lanes area, almost every summer, for 25 years now. Since we have stayed in the many different bungalows and large houses in the Lanes over that time, we are familiar with what one might reasonably expect when renting a bungalo here.
The house is super great. But the backyard is uninviting and disappointing. It’s all cement, no shade, just a table and chairs. It’s a great little fenced in area, a priority of mine because I have 2 little dogs. But even they didn’t want to spend time out there.
Many houses there are tiny, and a nicely done backyard to spend time in makes all the difference.
It has so much potential and would be wonderful with a simple fire feature, a couple tall potted trees, a barbecue, and some sail-type shading….it would make a huge impact. It would be perfect.

This was perfect for our quick beach getaway. Location was great - short drive to harbor and C Street surf. Walked to dinner and beach. Perfect size for our 3 adult family unit. Clean and well appointed for our needs.

We rented this home based on the photos on VRBO and that they take dogs. There is no back yard this property is a construction site with another home being built in the back yard and 2 open trenches in the back yard the full length. We left the next day David the owner understood. He & VRBO will not refund the 3 nights it has been since Dec. 28th trying to resolve this. No support we sent a check for 50% of 1 night and cleaning fee we didn't want to do this for free. The owner stopped communicating and VRBO says they can't do anything because we talked with the owner really sad this how they handle this. Have never had an issue in the past with renting from VRBO beyond disappointing.

Great location about 1 block from the beach. We also loved the front patio. For an older property, it delivers what you need. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was adequate. The main heater didn’t work, so we woke up cold on our first morning. We didn’t know about the space heaters in the closet until later. This was expensive for us, but the location is what you pay for.

We loved our stay at David’s place. It is completely updated and beautiful. It was so nice being on a dead end street that ends at a private beach entrance. There were beach towels and toys for the kids. We would definitely visit again, if we make it back to the west coast.

Living in SoCal, we wanted a beach house in Ventura where we could drive to, spend a few days enjoying the surf, the local restaurants and just be together as a family. This was the perfect place. Clean, spacious and great amenities with even a small game room for the teens. Highly recommend. David was a great host too!

Perfect location…walk to beach and restaurants! Everything you need for a great beach day is available from beach cruisers to a wagon, chairs, umbrella and sand toys. We enjoyed our stay and will come again!

The beach house is well stocked situated in a great location. It was clean and simply but nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and sleeping arrangements fit our group of two adults and 3 teens. It was also nice to have a Netflix account with the large flat screen TV for night time entertainment. Back yard space was good but they are in process of eventually adding a cottage at the back so that space was in transition. Front yard is also good and quite nice. Also a plus that there are two beach cruiser bikes that they provide for guests. Only downside was no backyard grill (but that was workable with oven broiler) and a few more drought-tolerant plants in the yard space would help yard space ambiance, otherwise you really couldn’t ask for more in a Ventura Beach vacation rental.

When we arrived at this adorable Beach House it was Dark out, however it was so easy to park and unload our car. Easy entrance and so excited to see that the property looked exactly as it did in the listing pictures! We found the space just exactly what we needed and we enjoyed the coffee in the morning as we took a stroll on the beach that was just steps from this property. So glad we stayed there.
