Very nice cabin, spacious, very well stocked.
Had a wonderful 2 week stay, the surrounding area is beautiful. Enjoyed walking the neighborhoods, did several scenic trails and local hikes. Good kitchen, decent bathrooms, comfortable living area, and nice deck surrounding the entire cabin. Some of the furniture needs updating. Overall, a real nice place. I would definitely try to stay there again for future trips to Flagstaff.

We loved our stay! The location was convenient to Flagstaff extreme and downtown Flagstaff.

Cabin is very nice construction-wise. Cheapish looking furnishings xcept dining. Uncomfortable sofa, Master bed is soft, one bed upstairs like a rock, all are extremely small for adults, except Master. No ceiling fans in any bedrooms, plastic box fans provided. Several windows appear to not open throughout house, but Matt stated they did. We could not determine how. So could not open guest BR windows. Upstairs gets very hot and stuffy. Master BR had no windows, just a door. Couldn't leave open after dark because insects came in. Several windows do not have screens, and neither do any doors. Flying insects came in after dark. Kitchen cooktop does not have an exhaust fan for airborne grease. Master bath does not have a real door. It has a partial shutter that covers you from your shoulders to your calves. So there is no privacy. That window does have a screen but has slight damage to it so small gnats still come in. Drain in shower/tub very slow.
I advise leaving home EXACTLY as it was at check in and follow all rules in book to the letter or you'll get a text from Matt stating everything you did not do to his satisfaction. We moved the two sitting chairs in Master slightly to have room for our dog crates, and did not put them back exactly where they were. Also I mistakenly did not put back a metal dog corral from deck to front porch. Minor mistake. One of my dogs pooped in upstairs BR morning we were checking out and I missed it. I apologized profusely. My fault completely.

We stayed at this wonderful property with our family for a wedding. Ages 27 to 62 with a two year old and two dogs. The property was very clean, very comfortable and in just a very beautiful location. Very nice and quiet neighborhood . Check in was super easy. All the rooms and beds were very cozy and comfortable. The house was clean and free of clutter. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The property was fantastic (great deck, easy access to hiking trails), and Matt was wonderful to work with. We will absolutely be visiting again.

It’s a nice large log home with plenty of room for a big group or family. It’s a high elevation home so very temperate in the summer. The large deck on the back of the home is a wonderful place to relax in the woods and watch the sunset through the trees. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds are comfortable. Check in and out is super easy.

We had a great stay at the Starview Lodge. The house was perfect, master bedroom downstairs 3 bedrooms on the second floor. Kitchen was very nice and completely stocked. The property is beautiful and very quiet, the deck is amazing for viewing the stars or the various woodland creatures that strolled by in the morning. We loved it.

Rave reviews from all who stayed at Starview this week! We all loved the cabin and all of its amenities. The living area is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The location was a very convenient distance from our main event venue in Flagstaff. I'm very glad that I found this property offered on VRBO when I was looking for a place for us to stay. Thanks, Matt, for a wonderful vacation home!

This property worked extremely well for my family that ranged in ages from twenties through eighties. Being able to drive my parents up to the door and have them walk into the house and their bedroom without any steps was perfect. Stocking the kitchen with food was also easy because of the wonderful access. We had everything we really needed except a pitcher which we donated. We loved the ambiance of the log home with fireplaces and forest. We would stay again if we ever have a need for the family to meet in Flagstaff, AZ.

Three day visit in the Flagstaff area to explore Grand Canyon, Sedona and other sites. The cabin is beautiful and a neat location that is very accessible to many area sites and services.

We had a great time. We arrived right after a snow storm so it was exactly what we had all hoped for. We also rented the one next door. Highly recommend both if you have a large family. The cabin had everything we needed to stay comfortable. Scenery was awesome. Can't wait to go back.

We had a great stay, except the plumber had to come out and there was a water leak from the roof.

The property was beautiful and plenty of room for all the guests. Wonderful log home and well taken care of...large deck as well. The property owner was easily reached when we came upon a minor plumbing issue.
Beautiful home...would stay again.

Our family was in Flagstaff for NAU's family weekend. We were here to see our granddaughter, who is in her first year at the university. The Lodge was close to the university, which made it easy to get to and from the family weekend festivities. The Lodge is truly a log cabin, with massive wooden logs. There was plenty of room for the five or six people who were staying there, plus a new puppy. Sitting on the back deck and looking at the sunset through the trees was great.

This is a very well maintained cabin located within the beautiful pines. It looks newer than its age and the amount of rooms was perfect. We did have to do some major cleaning of the outside BBQ but otherwise everything else was perfect. Hope to reserve it again.

This is a perfect place for families! We loved the beautiful deck and even though it's in a neighborhood, the feeling was a quiet, secluded cabin. It is well stocked and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. We had great communication with the property manager and seamless check in and out. If we're ever back in the area, we would choose this property first!

The pictures do not do this property justice! The property and home are both amazing! Kids had a blast walking around the property and enjoying the huge deck. Check in process was smooth. 10/10 and would absolutely stay here again.

This is a beautiful large log home in a nice quiet, wooded neighborhood. Everything worked as advertised and was extremely comfortable. We will definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! There was plenty of room for everyone and the wrap-around deck was awesome and provided ample opportunity to just hang out, listen to the wind in the pines or watch the stars! A bonus was watching a mama fox and her two pups play in the wooded area adjacent to the house!

Cabin was just as pictured. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Clean all around. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if/when we are back in Flagstaff. Quiet neighborhood. Amazing views.

After a long drive, it was great to arrive at nice charming clean house. Amazing back deck, very spacious house, kitchen had everything you need, and overall very comfortable atmosphere. Best part... internet speed was excellent so this helped fulfilled everyone's electronic needs including mine! I will definitely stay here again! Thank you.

The cabin was so nice and very clean. Flagstaff is a dark sky’s community, so you get to enjoy the beautiful night sky. Plus the view from the large wraparound patio/deck was amazing. We truly enjoyed our stay.
There was a property info binder that had answers to every question we had, plus lists of local restaurants, attractions, etc.
Linens were in great condition, like new. There was everything to make coffee.
Beds were comfortable.
Plenty of pillows and extra blankets.
Fully stocked kitchen.
Wifi worked.

We Made our reservation ten months in advance, and Mark has been a generous host with prompt replies and bountiful information. Some VRBO properties oversell in the photos and disappoint when you arrive. Not Mark's home at Kachina Village! Beautiful setting and pristine home with all the essentials you will need for your stay. This was an opportunity to celebrate our youngest daughter's graduation from NAU. Our large family of four kids with spouses, grandparents, and a couple of cousins (we reserved several homes) enjoyed the deck until the stars came out. Our daughter is moving to graduate school elsewhere, but we hope to revisit Mark's home, as Flagstaff is Beautiful.

The cabin itself was in excellent condition and had an excellent view outside at night.

Our 3 adult children joined us at this really great location just outside of Flagstaff. Plenty or rooms for everyone to have their own space and large enough common area for us all to gather together. Really convenient to Flagstaff and Sedona and the Grand Canyon, which were all amazing. The owner is next door and available for anything that may come up.
The only minor negative would be that the lights are dim and sparse. It is a log cabin so there are not that many places for light fixtures, but it could have been a bit brighter for my old eyes. Overall I highly recommend this property. Wonderful!!!

This property is in a great location and the house is wonderful. Comfortable rooms, good beds, vey clean. Could use a few minir furniture fixes but that did not impact our stay. We stayed just after a large snowfall. Because the house is downhill from the street and the snow was several feet high there was only a walking path provided. We managed, but if you have older relatives you will want to consider their safety.
The host was accessible by text and responsive. We appreciated that so much! In the end we did lots of sightseeing and then had wonderful family dinners around the large farm table each night. Washer and dryer worked great too! Would highly recommend this property!
