Great place to stay if you want a quiet place off (way off) the beaten path.

Food was very good, servers were most helpful. Lots of choices for breakfast

I tried to get Mary to let us leave a day early, but she said you still have to pay, and made a reference to Booking.com? I wanted to leave early because the Cottage is in the middle of nowhere. If you want to go hiking or just have good food and not leave the place it would be great. But had we known how isolated it was, we would not have booked it. There is no place nearby to go eat or buy any conveniences, you have to drive on mountain roads 15 miles or so. Also, like most of Ireland the Wi-Fi is sad, need to go to public places to be close to the router to upload photos.

Relaxed, clean, excellent location, great food and very friendly host and staff.

Great food, both for dinner and breakfast. Teas/coffee and cakes offering on arrival was a very nice touch. Friendly staff and a very relaxed environment made our short stay very enjoyable.

Staying at Hanoras was a real treat. Everything was outstanding, the rooms, dinner and breakfast. Lovely staff and a nice atmosphere. Top quality! The location is beautiful and peaceful.

This is as good a bed and breakfast accommodation as anywhere we have stayed throughout the world, and the evening meals were also perfect. There is little point in singling out anything. Everything was first class

Would love to return to Hanora's Cottage and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Food was amazing, with excellent menu for coeliacs. We found the location perfect for hiking in the Comeragh mountains and for exploring the west Waterford coastline.

Hidden gem

Peace & quiet. Most beautiful setting. Very friendly welcome. Food was gorgeous.

A chill out stay in Hanora's Cottage in the Nire Valley

It is situated in the most beautiful valley, beside the river and ideal for hiking. The food is amazing, the rooms warm and comfortable. The lounge bright and inviting. The owner and staff were friendly and profession, fabulous views and a fire lit every evening. What a welcome.

Nothing There is nothing negative to say about Hanora's Cottage in the Nire Valley. It met all our expectations and exceeded them.
