We went to Manistee for the Century Boat Club Show held every September. This was our first visit to Michigan and we didn’t want to stay in a Hotel. This place exceeded our expectations!
Nicer than shown in pictures and the host provides amenities, beach towels, beach chairs, and other items for a day at the beach!
Location is awesome! Enjoy the beach during the day and beautiful sunsets in the evening. Close to River St for dining and shopping.
Highly recommend!

The best place to appreciate Lake Michigan. The home was very clean and just steps from the beach.

Amazing clean house, in a perfect spot right across from the beach. The house was perfect for a family gathering, it was clean, well stocked, and plenty of space for six adults. We will definitely stay here again!

This is my home away from home when I working in Manistee, MI. I stay here once a year for annual work. This home has everything you need and is very spacious. The view from the living room is a prime. You sit, relax (next to the fireplace) and watch the beach waves, light house and birds fly by. And if you're there in the winter time, you'll see beautiful snow falling. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely perfect for 3 friends getting away for a few days. The house was immaculate, beds were great, kitchen and supplies were more than expected. Nothing but perfection.

By far this is the nicest place we have stayed at. We always take a trip with friends in October, will always remember this with fond memories.

This beautiful home at the mouth of the Manistee River is an ideal base for exploring the Manistee area. Downtown shops and restaurants are minutes away. The house layout is great, with bedrooms upstairs and down. The bottom floor has an open layout, with views of the lake. Decorating, furniture, and appliances are all first class, and it's the only place I have ever rented that actually has sharp kitchen knives. Overall a fantastic experience.

This beach cottage home is wonderful! I've stayed here a couple of times (for two weeks at a time) when I come to Manistee for work. It's a home away from home to me. The home has everything you need, kitchen is well stocked and I especially like the kitchen appliances. The decor is stylish and views of the beach make it relaxing. I've stayed here in the colder season, so having a fireplace to snuggle up to after work is nice. Fast internet and more importantly the beds are comfortable too! Also, communication with the owner is excellent. I've never had to wonder or worry. It's very close to downtown Manistee where you can eat and shop along the river front. This beach cottage will be my go to place whenever I come to visit Manistee. Don't hesitate if you're thinking about staying here - you will not be disappointed!

This house was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better setting to spend the weekend with friends (better weather maybe).
Beach view, clean, spacious. We will be back in the warmer months for sure!

I've traveled and stayed at many rental places before and we even have a timeshare in Maui. None of these can compare to this rental as far as customer satisfaction. This was by far the best place we've ever rented. The house was tastefully decorated. The wrap around deck with the gas grill, the beautifully appointed kitchen with all its high end appliances, bosch, Kenmore etc as well as the clean and updated bathrooms were much more than expected. The temperature control as well as the speedy wifi were my requirements that they managed to meet. Not easy to do for an up north property. We made use of the fire pit on the property while we watched the gorgeous sunset by the lighthouse and the beach across the street. The owner was very friendly and accessible. The lawn and flower beds were well maintained by a very nice lady who was kind enough to provide kindling for our fire pit. There are a lot of little nice touches that meant so much to me and my elderly parents. The motion sensitive nightlights, little stash of Tupperware in the drawers and the hose conveniently located by the door so you can rinse off the sand before going inside. All this and much more just made everything so welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this beautiful cottage for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. The area is beautiful and not at all as crowded as some of the other Lake Michigan coast towns. The beach on 5th Avenue, right across from the cottage, was so nice and not full of pebbles or rocks. The concession stand at the beach has amazing food that is not your typical concession stand food and you can walk right across the street! But, we enjoyed most of our meals in because they had everything available to cook and grill.
The cottage is so beautifully decorated. It is definitely better than the pics shown. The sunsets that you can see while sitting on the balcony upstairs were amazing. There was an issue while we were there but the owners were very responsive and did everything they could to fix it and make it right, even though it was out of their control. We look forward to staying there again.

Home away from home
Our family had a fabulous long weekend here. Perfect size for us and everything is clean, fresh and remodeled. The views are gorgeous with large windows facing Lake Michigan. Sitting by the fireplace with a cup of coffee was so relaxing. The master bedroom/bathroom was like a sanctuary and so spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed so we didn’t need to eat out for every meal. Though the downtown area, which is just minutes away, was so cute with dining options that were delicious! Definitely look forward to coming here again in the summer months!
