Great spot in the mt village

This is an absolutely amazing condo. The layout is amazing with beautiful views from multiple rooms. This condo feels and lives like a big one story single family home. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Great location just a 3 minute walk to the market gondola station and literally across the street from the slopes.

We’ve been to Mountain Village many times and we will never stay at this property again. The only way in and out is through the below ground parking garage and down a steep, gravel covered road with no sidewalk. There is no onsite parking for more than one car - it’s a huge pain when you arrive/depart with luggage. Pool was unusable - absolutely filled with bugs. I’ve never seen so many bugs in a pool. Not even my teenage boys would go in. The mechanical blinds in our bedroom were broken - some were stuck up and some were stuck down - they blocked mountain views and we were woken up at the crack of dawn each morning. There are multiple balcony’s but none have any furniture, so you can’t really use them. Kitchen faucet had duct tape on it…in a place that cost us more than 2K per night! The caretakers were unresponsive. Had to call the management company, but they were not helpful. A woman showed up the evening of our last day to fix the blinds, but she was not a professional and could do nothing. Same story with the pool - somebody finally skimmed the surface, but still filled with bugs. This property is managed by Evolve. Be aware they use something called smart pricing - similar to the airlines. So, the rates fluctuate by 65% or more depending on when you make the booking. Even if you pay top dollar, don’t expect them to be responsive or fair. We received an 8% refund for pool/blinds problems. There are much better options in Mountain Village.

This condo in the Lorian is extremely spacious and nicely remodeled. We were impressed with the well-stocked chef's kitchen, very comfortable king size beds, electric black out shades in all bedrooms, large wine fridge, great lighting, and plenty of extra towels/linens. There were 2 'family room' type spaces both with fire places which provided plenty of space. It's on the top floor with great views, and it was very quiet. It also had a dedicated ski locker with a code. We shipped our skis out, and the property manager delivered them to the unit which was very nice.
The location works well for ski-in/ski-out, but it's not as walkable as we originally thought. San Joaquin Rd has no sidewalks and is narrow & winding (i.e. cars come fast and can't see you). Especially not ideal if you will have a stroller. We ended up mostly using the complimentary 'dial a ride' service to get to the market gondola station or all the way into mountain village. It is especially not walkable at night.
One important note is that the description does not mention that the POOL is CLOSED during the WINTER. We were under the impression it would be open for our young kids to use and were disappointed.
The only other minor issue is that the apartment was/is definitely home to dogs. The dog hair just seemed to reappear even though the condo was very clean. A couple of us staying there have moderate dog allergies and were affected by this.
I would recommend staying here especially if you are looking for an updated and large condo with all en-suite bathrooms that is ski-in/out. Thanks for renting out your lovely unit!

We had a truly great experience at this property. We have stayed at many different places over the years and this was as good as it gets. The location and set up of the property are perfect for a large group of adults and would also be ideal for kids. We will come back for sure!

The pictures don’t do the property justice. Every detail of the property was amazing from the ski in / ski out to the interior, technology, kitchen amenities, large bedrooms, multiple bathrooms and furnishings in the property. We had great communication with our property manager who was quick to respond to our needs and accommodating with our multiple vehicles. For those wondering about skiing, you walk out of the back door, walk down a short side walk, cross the street and clip in. Thank you for an amazing vacation and sharing your beautiful condo!

Six adults arrived for my granddaughter’s wedding and felt at home right away. The condo was extremely spacious and just a few steps from the gondola and market . We had such beautiful views of the aspens turning at the end of September and look forward to returning. I must say the owner even called to make sure that we were comfortable. Of course we were! Can’t wait until next year!RF
