Host could not be more accommodating and helpful. The space was immaculate, so very spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything you could think of was available. If I could give it more stars, I would. I travel often and do not receive such friendly service. I will definitely return.

Our son’s family lives a few blocks away so this is an ideal location for us. We love to walk along the water in Edmonds and it’s only a couple minutes down to the beach. The apartment is equipped with all the amenities that you might desire and decorated in an eclectic artistic manner. Everywhere you look there is something of interest. Loved our visit! We’ll definitely be back.

Pros: The garden was beautifully maintained and serene. The bathroom was nice and clean. Communication w the owner was very good.
Cons: The interior was old and cluttered w a lot of stuff - books, furniture, knick-knacks, stuff! The closets were dust-filled and had serious cob-webs. The mattress was old. The headboard of the bed - the vinyl was wearing thin. Privacy was lacking.

Really well done decor and amenities. The owner stages homes for a living and he did a great job of making this a very visually interesting while also making it comfortable and functional. It’s very spacious and well-appointed, has a full kitchen, a separate entrance. Book with confidence, this place won’t disappoint you.

We found many good points about our week at this property. Both inside and outside showcase wonderful designs and the wall of windows makes it easy to enjoy the garden even if the weather is rainy!
Other pluses include easy parking in a quiet neighborhood, the extreme cleanliness of the home, and a very comfortable bed. Both the kitchen and bath were quite well equipped. There were plenty of pots and pans and utensils in the kitchen and lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom.
The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions. The only downside we found is that the property is a basement level, so that while the window-walled room has plenty of daylight, the kitchen and TV area is darker with a dark ceiling. It may be that we are more sensitive to this since we currently live in Florida and love all our sunlight. Despite this small concern, we would gladly book this property again the next time we are in the Seattle area.

We loved staying here. The space was so clean, beautifully decorated and so roomy, and the view outside our windows was like a secluded park, offering peace and quiet for undisturbed sleep. We will totally stay here again. Thanks to our hosts for a wonderful experience.

This lower-level apartment with its own entrance is away from the street but opens on to a lovely patio and garden. The dwelling itself is beautifully appointed and furnished. And it offered us a base away from the center-city, from which to make hops into Seattle or out to Whidbey Island, where we planned to spend most of our time. We had a great time and would gladly stay

Fabulous Zen Retreat!!
This apartment is a blissful spot to relax and enjoy life. Looking out onto the Zen Asian inspired garden designed by a master gardener, you feel like you are truly one with nature. I would have been delighted to stay there all day, every day. Rick is such a gracious host, and it was good to know that he was on the property, should you need anything. I will definitely return with my husband for an extended stay. Perfect stay!

A house literally owned by an interior designer
I'm used to decent airbnbs or high rise apartments, but this place was just so wonderful.
It's beautiful, there's an entire movie room, and the aesthetics are unlike any other place you'll see - one of the owners is literally an interior designer.
Kitchen is absolutely stocked with everything you could want, great fridge, tons of space to work.
If you're working remotely and like natural light, tons of windows in the main room + a large desk, and if you're like my partner and I you can split between the main room and the movie room for work to have privacy and not talk over each other on zoom calls :D
The hosts are too kind, extremely helpful and wonderful people who I would absolutely have dinner with again given the chance.
And the floors are heated!! How is that even real. It was seriously one of my favorite stays of all time.
