About this cottage rental
With amazing uninterrupted views over the sea in front, this cottage is a wonderful base for family or friends to explore this beautiful, unspoilt part of the island. The master bedroom looks directly out to the sea and the front garden (where the local rabbits love to come and play in early morning and evening). The twin room overlooks the woodlands on the other side.
Sea View Cottage has been lovingly and tastefully redecorated to a very high standard. The living room (which also looks out to sea), has quality oak flooring, a charming open fireplace, and brand new sofa, armchairs and furnishings. The kitchen, backing onto the rear garden, is fully equipped for everything you will need on holiday, and there is a separate dining room for recounting the day's adventures over a family dinner.
Sea View has two gardens, one at the rear with a lovely breakfast area, and a gate opening onto the coastal walking path, and a front garden/BBQ area overlooking the sea.

Wonderful Cottage
We were so impressed by this cottage. It has been beautifully renovated & was spotlessly clean with sea views. The location was perfect, just a minutes walk from the coastal path & about a five minute drive into Yarmouth. We hope to return in the future.

Unfortunately i was unwell and we had to cut short our stay. We were very disappointec
The cottage was really lovely. Lots of character, very clean and tidy and modern. Being on the beach almost was pleasant and it was quiet. We would certainly recommend it to friends.

Home away from home
It was so wonderful staying at he cottage. we were there with our daughter and her huband and it was just right for us. The decoration and general furnishings are so well thought out that it gave us a great feeling of being at home. After a long walk it was great to be able to relax and spend spend some time together indoors.

A lovely, classig English holiday
The cottage is just lovely - cosy, warm, with a wood out of the front door and the beach 50 yards from the front door - what more could you ask for ?
Yarmouth town is small but has most of what we needed - the deli in the main square is excellent; exerything from artisan bread to Latte coffees. Favourite pub lunches were at the Highdown Inn (v.good) and the Red Lion in Freshwater (fantastic food - we went three times !).
We will return to the island, and we will come back to this cottage - it really is that good.

Winter Wonderland
The cottage and it's location were absolutely as described. For dog owners with a desire to ignore Christmas this was a real find. We were cosy, despite freezing winter conditions outside and the cottage was beautifully and simply equipped with everything we needed. The ability to walk straight out on to the sea or the woods was wonderful and I really hope to be back to enjoy the cottage in other seasons. My only hesitation in making my recommendation is that it will get more booked up! For us West Wight is the best part of the island for walking and everything you need is nearby. For simple pub food there is always the The Vine in Freshwater- plain and resonably priced. Thanks you .

The perfect holiday cottage!
We had a super time at Victoria cottages and we would recommend it without reservation. The location is perfect, tucked away, with amazing views of the Solent and a great safe space for children to tire themselves out running about.
Yarmouth is a 15 minute walk along the coast and being able to walk throught the gate and straight into woodland and onto the coastal path was lovely. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. We didn't know the island before arriving but I would say we were definitely situated in one of the nicest parts of the island, away from the hustle and bustle yet with everything easily accessible. We will most definitely return.

A Little Piece of Heaven
I have just returned today from 1 week spent at this fantastice house. We are mum & dad, a 1yr old & a 4yr old and all had a brilliant time. We have never stayed on this side of the island before but now we have discovered Victoria Cottages we will not be staying anywhere else. It was clean, comfortable and very well presented and am looking forward to our return soon. The pictures on the website do not do it justice at all and the views are amazing. At night we would just sit on the patio gazing out to sea and watching the wild bunnies on the grass in front. Also it is very quiet but none of the other residents in the adjoining cottages minded the children running around on the communal grass area in front playing and having fun with the other children that were there and we felt a very nice sense of community. I had my resivations after reading the review left by LEMONHEAD, even though we had already booked, re the parking etc so contacted Natasha who I found very helpful and friendly and she informed me of the parking situation if our space was taken ( which incidently it never was ) and could not see why there was ever a problem. Also a new TV has now been installed. I think it is a shame about the average review as this cottage is truely lovely, in an amazing setting with friendly people living around and I would like to thank Fran for her help while we were there and for Scruffy the dog for keeping us entertained...We are so looking forward to going back....
I would recommend this cottage to anyone who likes to stay in clean comfortable surroundings with amazing views....

Very nicely presented cottage in good location. Wake up to lovely sea views. We were there for Walking Festival and cottage served as a good base. Loads of excellent walks from the cottage including a lovely one around the Year estuary to Freshwater where you can have a good homecooked meal in the Red Lion.

Fort Victoria cottage
A lovely place to stay, we have been twice and hope to go again. A pretty cottage placed among trees and close to the beach, and a sandy beach the other side of the fort. Wonderful relaxing views. Walks from the house. Walk into Yarmouth to Salty,s fish restaurant for a good lunch, the dog was allowed into the downstairs bar. The cottage is comfortable and attractive. I would recommend it to a friend.

beachfront cottage
The position and view fom this cottage are lovely. But eveything else was pretty average. There was no welcome pack which I have never come across in a cottage holiday before. We had an allocated parking space but this was occupied on quite a few occasions over the week and finding somewhere else was often tricky. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were clean and cosy. Downstairs was clean but not that warm and comfortable. Minute tv with dodgy remote control was in a corner of the room which was hard to view with the sofa facing the opposite direction.
Plus points are the coastal path and beach right on your doorstep, which was great for the walks with our dog. No enclosed proper garden but large communal space with rabbits aplenty, I recommend keeping dog on lead in the communal garden as hole in fence makle it easy for the dog to enter someone elses garden.
Dont shop for necesseties in shop in Yarmouth as ridiculously expensive.
Recommend Kings Head in Yarmouth for dining out (child and dog friendly) and Watersedge Cafe in Gurnard for great brekkie with a scenic view and good walk to Cowes after.

A fantastic cottage and the perfect getaway.
Waking up to the sounds and sight of the Solent was so relaxing. It's a stone's throw from the beautiful pebble beach (although you'd have to aim above the bunny rabbits on the lawn!).
Great location too - a lovely 25 minute walk along the coast to the lively old port of Yarmouth and easy access to the rest of the island. Classy, idyllic, charming. Can't recommend this place enough.

Excellent cottage
We had a wonderful stay and could not have asked more from our booking. The cottage is tastefully decorated inside and gives a warm, modern feel. It is furnished with everything you'll need and well maintained. The area is a quiet oasis next to a pebble and sand beach with good walks. We would certainly look to book again...THANKS!!

the perfect location
This cottage proved to be the ideal location for our family holiday. The beach was just at the bottom of the garden, the cottage was beautiful and extremely well furnished.
All the sights of the Isle of Wight were within easy reach, yet we could return to tranquility each night.
I wouldn't hesitate (and haven't!) to recommend this property to all my friends.
