LOCATION
Meadowbank shopping centre with Sainsbury's superstore open daily from 6am to 10pm,M&S,TKmaxx,KFC and more is just 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
Our Edinburgh apartment is the ideal hub from which to access Edinburgh City Centre and Princes Street, be it for business or pleasure. We are just about 15-20 minutes walk from the Scottish Parliament, The Royal Residence at Holyrood Palace, the Royal Mile, Princes St. Playhouse, Artur's Seat and most of the main attractions in Scotland's capital city. Located in the modern Horizon development next to Lochend Loch and Lochend Park.
Our apartment is also ideally situated for access to The Shore in Leith, where you will find a plentiful supply of pubs, restaurants, including Michelin Star dining and the Royal Yacht Britannia in Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre. Also nearby the apartment there is very good bus connection available with 24 hour service and a Tesco super store open till midnight.
DESCRIPTION OF THE APARTMENT
Sleep up to 4 guests. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with lift access in the building. There is a living room with large double sofa bed, coffee table, flat screen TV, DVD and French windows that open to a balcony where you can enjoy morning tea or coffee with a superb view over the park and the pond. The dining area has a big table with 5 chairs.
The apartment is fully equipped with kitchen appliances: large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, cutlery and crockery.
The master bedroom has an en-suite with a stand in electric shower cubicle, a king size bed or 2 single beds, a good size built-in wardrobe and big double windows with a superb view of the Carlton Hill and Arthur's Seat.
The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds or 1 super king size bed, a built-in wardrobe and a view of the park. The main bathroom has a bath with an over bath shower. There is a separate cupboard for shoes and jackets.
Genius luxury 1500 pocket sprung and hypo-allergenic mattresses -hotel style zip and link beds so can be make up with 2 single beds or a king size bed in each bedroom.
The building also has a secure entry system and CCTV.
Double glazing and gas central heating. Free Wi-fi internet access.

We provide a 'meet and greet' service, whereby we will meet you at the property to hand over keys, show you the layout, provide local information and answer any questions you may have.

Upon arrival, your apartment will contain a complimentary welcome pack to get you started, so you won't have to worry about tracking down the local shops on your first night for those essential items;

The way to get to the apartment is take a bus number 100 (ticket costs £4.5 per person) from airport to Waverley Station(travel time about 25 minutes) and then taxi (taxi costs around £6-8) to the apartment or you can ask how much will be taxi from the airport to the apartment because it could be the same price (around £25)as bus tickets especially when is few of you.

This was a great location to stay on my recent trip to Edinburgh. The apartment was very clean, well designed, with all the amenities one would want while traveling. The location was quiet but within walking distance of any sight you wanted to see. The host was exceptional. He stayed in communication with me. Was at the apartment when we arrived to show us around. Gave us helpful tips on how to navigate Edinburgh and was just genuinely a nice and vibrant person. I highly rate this property and the host!

We were so happy with the property! Walk ability to groceries, bus stops, and beautiful back yard full of birds and trees! Really liked the whole thing…only needed kitchen towels/ or more paper towels..still, a lovely property! 👍❤️

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The place was clean and had ample room. It was quiet at night and felt especially safe with the secure building. Host was quick to reply and had several suggestions for us.

The host was very communicative and helpful. Special thanks for allowing us to leave our luggage hours before our entry. The condo is spacious with comfortable beds, nice kitchen and living room area. The highlight is the balcony which overlooks beautiful woods. It is vey quiet! There is an elevator to 4th floor. To get to buses it’s a 10 min walk.It takes a 1/2 hr to walk to the Royal Mile.I highly recommend this BnB.

We really enjoyed this property. Host was delightful and informative. Beautiful view out balcony. Quiet and restful place to recharge after a day in Edinburgh. Close to grocery store. Kitchen equipped well and everything very clean. Loved our stay.

Apartment was exceptionally clean and well supplied. There was ample parking and many restaurants were within walking distance (Gautam's was our favorite). We were even able to walk to the Royal Mile and New Town. We enjoyed looking out over the park and watching people and dogs playing. Communication with Slawomir was easy and he always responded quickly. He met us at check-in to make sure we understood how everything in the apartment worked. We would certainly stay here again.

The apartment is modern, clean and tidy. It is fully equipped. For instance there are multiple products to use (like washing powder, spices and showergel). There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite), which is very convenient when you are staying with four adults. The apartment has a great view of the park, very relaxing when you are having breakfast in the living room. The building and neighbourhood are very quiet. There are some grocery stores nearby. Also some busstops where you can take different busses to the city centre. If you come by car there is a car park you can use. Slawomir is very friendly, easy to reach out to and he provided us with a lot of information about the city centre and surroudings of Edinburgh.

The Host was always available and a joy to deal with
The apartment arrival process was simple & easy to access. The apartment was clean and incredibly well equipped with high quality appliances including a coffee machine. It also had a lovely outlook into the park which could be enjoyed from the balcony - we had a very pleasant breakfast there on a few mornings
The location was safe and with easy access to essentials like Supermarkets and the local pub! We didn’t have a car and were able to walk to all the major attractions (castle, HMY Britannia, city shops & restaurants etc etc)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would unreservedly recommend to anyone travelling to Edinburgh

The location was quiet, with a nice view overlooking the park, and a view of Arthur’s Seat from the primary bedroom. The only issue we experienced was access to the bus lines that would take us to the more touristy areas. There may have been closer stops than we were able to find, but did not find this info in the flat. As he thinks of pretty much everything else, it is possible that a previous guest removed this info, but this would be the one improvement we would suggest. We knowingly booked in a residential area, as we wanted less noise from the tourist areas; if you prefer to be out of the high traffic areas, we recommend this flat and host! He was very accommodating and flexible when our arrival times had to change.

Great location, perfect communication, we only used for sleeping as days were spent with family/relatives. Living/dining/kitchen is cozy and perfect for a couple.
Everything was in very good condition, with the exception of one single bed which creaked a little when turning over (nothing a new mattress or base wouldnt fix).
Lovely views of the park and very convenient parking & lift.

Home away from home
This was truly a lovely place to stay... it was perfect for 3 adult friends traveling through Edinburgh. We felt safe and secure in this apartment, and it had everything we needed in order to feel comfortable. We loved the park view from the balcony, where we could watch dogs playing with their owners below. Slawomir was a wonderful host, meeting us at the property and telling us all about things we could do in Edinburgh as well as giving us tips for driving while here. Would highly recommend this place to stay!

Overall Good stay
The flat was fit for purpose and very clean. I would say that it is more a taxi journey if you wanted to visit the old town of Edinburgh as around a 45 minute walk but overall a nice stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment with everything you needed for a five night stay. Slawomir is an excellent host and the apartment has good views over the park and very quiet. We were a three generation family with a three year old and there was plenty of room for everyone. Would book again.

Great location, well considered
The owner of the property was very friendly and approcable. He has thought about the travellers coming by plane when kitting out the accommodation including items such as soap, kitchen roll, bin bags and fairy liquid and some herbs and spices such a nice touch. Great ideas given about places to visit. Apartment in walking (good) from main attractions. We had a great time.

We spent 7 days over Christmas in this wonderful apartment and everything was perfect. Slawomir was an excellent host. He greeted us on arrival, explaining how everything worked and giving handy hints about things to do in the area. He was always immediately contactable, should we require anything during our stay. The accommodation is the perfect distance away from the city for us, allowing a stroll in each direction but also handy for supermarkets, other shops and takeaways. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped, warm, quiet and comfortable. with a lovely outlook over the park. We definitely look forward to returning to this property.

Apartment and host were both great. Charming view of Lochend park, clean, and well appointed with essentials. Also very centrally located, easy to walk to basically anywhere in the city you would want, but nestled in a quiet residential area. Highly recommend this property.

Really enjoyed our short stay in this apartment, well equipped with everything you need. Would say though, could do with a mirror in the bedroom. Excellent outlook from the balcony over looking the park. The taxi service we used was also spot on, they were nearly there before you had booked they were that efficient!! Could not fault😊

Loved it
This property was perfect what what we needed on our visit to Edinburgh. We were 2 couples and there was plenty of space for the four of us. The apartment was well equipped with everything you would need. The only one wee point is no mirrors in the bedrooms. We had to do our hair in the hall as this is the only place with one.

This Property provided everything we needed for a short stay in Edinburgh. It enabled us to be close to the Royal Yacht, the Botanical gardens and the Royal Mile.
