Fantastic place with all mod cons, ground floor bedroom for our elderly relative, good garden for the dogs, with a beautiful outlook at the rear. Be aware that vehicular access to the property is down a short but rather narrow driveway.

The house was in stunning location and fully equipped. We had no problems with the house and even the dog was fully provided for. The welcome basket was very useful as we arrived late in the day.
It was rather difficult to find and the drive was narrow but once you find the location it was fine.
Lots of walks from the property and several dog friendly pubs.
Will book again if we need to see relations in the area.

A lovely week away for my mum's 70th birthday. The New Bakehouse was stunning with every little home comfort you can imagine to hand. Beautiful views, spacious living accommodation with excellent hosts Sally and Kevin nearby to help with any questions. Wonderful walks on the door step and a great location for exploring beautiful Cotswolds.
We really didn't want to leave and hope to return again soon to this little gem.

I stayed for a long weekend for family get together. The owners greeted us but they live next door to the house so it felt like the are watching us so we couldn't relax. The kitchen needs a upgrade, we felt we couldn't cook as the oven was dirty and the kettle had a lot of limescale. The equipment in the kitchen hadn't been clean properly. The upstairs bedroom with the 2 single bed was very uncomfortable the beds were very hard and couldn't sleep on it. If these things get sorted it would be lovely place to stay. We just felt watched with the owner living such a short distance and they can see into the house.

Sally and Kevin are wonderful host. Very friendly, approachable and helpful. The property is lovely and perfect for family gathering. Cleanliness is top notch, house is well-equipped including equipment for babies which was perfect for us. We enjoyed the holiday house a lot.

What a treat to stay at The New Bakehouse! Absolutely stunning property, with every comfort catered for and a delicious welcome pack, thank you. We had a wonderful stay. Two lovely pubs within walking distance and some great walks from the front door. We were a party of two couples and three dogs. Plenty of space for all. We all would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon.

This place is fabulous, spotless, everything we needed, plus lots of extras with welcome basket. Very comfortable, fabulous views and very quiet. There are two footpaths from the property so did lots of walking with the dogs straight from the property. Would highly recommend

The property is as described. Modern, spacious, bright and finished to a high standard. The attention to detail is evident. Fabulous location. Didn’t drive up to property as access narrow but that wasn’t an issue.

Lovely house, very clean & comfortable and we loved all the mod cons like the lighting, electric blinds & underfloor heating.
Walked into Stroud for the farmers market which was definitely worth a visit plus a walk in the woods above Ranwick & Sunday lunch at the Vine Tree.

Had a lovely short break at The New Bakehouse. Tech was interesting although not always reliable, eg remote controlled blinds a bit temperamental at times. House was nice and warm although thermomstat in dining area wouldn't turn down. Maybe because the house is so well insulated. House was still nice and warm in the mornings before the heating switched on. Might be an issue in the warmer months. Upstairs bedrooms easily controlled by radiators. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom good for more disabled visitors although the area itself is very hilly. Driveway to property very narrow but plenty of parking outside the property. A very comfortable house and would definitely recommend. Randwick is a 'sunny' hamlet when Stroud was often shrouded in fog!

Lovely spacious property which was immaculately clean. Beds super comfy.
Good location to explore the wider Cotswolds.
A couple of great pubs within walking distance.
Lovely welcome basket of baked treats on arrival.
Suggestion would be for a larger fridge or additional wine/beer fridge!

The New Bakehouse is a great property. Very spacious and very clean. The welcome hamper was a real treat and we met the owners who live near by including their lovely Labrador.
The entrance to the property is very narrow but the directions provided were spot on and very helpful.
I would be mindful if you enjoy walking- the property is located in a very hilly area which might be not suitable for everyone. We brought our dog with us - the garden is not fully enclosed so worth noting that we stayed with him when outside incase he ran off on his own adventure!
The local pub nearby the carpenters arms was worth the visit staff really friendly and food great- we were left a complimentary bottle of wine voucher which was greatly received.
We travelled as three couples and really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

A beautiful accommodation, designed to a very high standard. We holidayed with 3 generations of family, the eldest being 92. Dogs enjoyed the enclosed garden. Unfortunately our weather wasn’t very good so we didn’t venture very far, but we were more than happy to enjoy the comforts of The New Bakehouse. It quite a hi-tec property, remote controlled blinds, a fancy lighting system. Because it was a bit high tech we left the hall light on of a night for my elderly mom to get from her ground floor bedroom to the bathroom next door, it was fine for the first two nights but then we noticed the system had been over ridden and a ten minute timer had been put on the lights. The owners of the property lived in a similar building at the bottom of the garden. I guess it was like Big Brother watching …. The welcome basket was greatly received.

What a lovely property! Plenty of space and amazing views! The property was spotless and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. There were plenty of kitchen appliances, pots, pans and plates extra. I really can't fault anything!

The New Bakehouse was perfect for our relaxing weekend. Such a lovely property in a great place. There was a nice welcome pack to greet us. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms very plush. We walked into Stroud one day which was small but nice, took us about 30 minutes. Plenty of pubs nearby. Then we visited Cirencester which was just 12 miles away by car, great shops and a very pretty town. Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Had a lovely welcome basket with some essentials in the cupboard, lovely views and very comfortable beds. What was missing was a large outdoor light and a sign at the main road entrance.

As an architect I was delighted to stay in the The New Bakehouse. Externally, it is a beautiful and contemporary interpretation of the Cotswolds vernacular. Inside, it is spacious, light, and very well appointed. I particularly liked the full height sliding windows to the living room that open onto a secluded garden and patio. I didn't want to leave!
The house is located adjacent to open fields that have delightful footpaths leading into the village of Randwick.
It is in a great location to explore the Cotswolds. The nearby villages of Minchinhampton, Painswick and Chedworth are worth a visit.

Stunning cottage. Very high standard of decoration, cleanliness etc. fully equipped.
A few more details on how to locate the property when in the village would be useful.
Fantastic local pub

We stayed here from Friday to Monday with friends. The house is just outside the centre of Stroud which is a gorgeous Cotswold village. The house was lovely, a great size, tucked away surrounded by quiet gardens with stunning views and lots of mod cons.
We took advantage of using the spacious kitchen which was really well stocked and made homemade pizzas the first night. This followed by a homely roast of the Sunday.
Sally was wonderful throughout the booking process and was really attentive and friendly.
There is a wonderful lighting system throughout the whole house as well as electric skylight boxes in the kitchen and lounge. The bi-folds throughout are an excellent addition, which all come fitted with electric blinds - we quite frequently enjoyed a morning coffee or two sat outside, a step away from the bedroom overlooking fantastic views.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend to a family and/or group of friends/couples - amazing space!

We stayed for 3 nights and this has to be one of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and we loved the huge island in the kitchen. Views over the hills were lovely and there was a pub within easy walk. There was a lovely welcome basket and very easy communication from the owners.
Would definitely recommend!

Great stay!
Was a beautiful house and area, perfect for a relaxing girlie weekend away. Only thing we didn't like was there being no doors on the en suites upstairs but apart from that it was perfect.

A lovely break
We stayed at the New Bakehouse recently and absolutely loved the house. The attention to detail was great and everything we needed was provided. It’s set in a lovely little village with a few local pubs. I’d recommend the Rose Tree as the best. It’s still a short drive away from the house so Unless you want a walking holiday I’d recommend a car to get about as it’s very hilly. Overall a great stay and a well needed break.
