Extremely easy to reach from the mainland, you can leave your car behind as everything you need for an island holiday is easily found nearby.. 3 steps to entrance.

Kitchen: Gas Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. On road parking; public car park, at cost. No smoking.. Coastguard Cottage is a beautifully presented seaside holiday home with two spacious bedrooms able to comfortably accommodate up to four guests in total, it’s dog friendly too. This beautifully furnished and well equipped holiday home offers a surprisingly spacious base, and is located in the popular seaside town of Ryde with its host of vibrant shops, bars, restaurants and cafés. Located on the Esplanade, it’s just a short stroll over the road to the beach, where the vast stretches of sand offer you fantastic views across the Solent to Portsmouth. Here, the landmark Spinnaker Tower forms an impressive backdrop. Along the promenade, you will find tennis courts, ten pin bowling, a fun fair, canoe lake and a swimming pool, providing plenty to do within the local area. You can also enjoy the scenic coastal walks, go crabbing, sailing, fishing, horse riding, golf or even go-karting, all of which are easily accessible from the property.
Ryde is known as the gateway to the island as it can be easily reached within just two hours directly from London Waterloo via train, which connects with the island’s catamaran and hovercraft services via Portsmouth and Southsea. Mainland motorways also connect directly with car ferry ports located at nearby Fishbourne or East Cowes. There are numerous attractions across the island to discover for all ages, including The Needles, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Visit Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and its gardens, Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, Ventnor Botanic Garden, Tapnell Farm Park, Carisbrooke Castle or the sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes. Whatever you decide, one thing’s for sure, the Isle of Wight has plenty to offer.
