Disappointing

Location

Checked in counter and hotel units are not in the same place. After checked in, the staff lead us to the hotel unit which located at another side of the building, its so confusing n troublesome to carry along big luggages as u need to walk from one side to another side. Unlike those proper hotel styles, much easier in d same building. Price is not cheap too, TWD4250/night. Counter operating hours from 9.30am til 9.30pm only. If u need to go airport in d midnight, u need to call taxi on own as they don't provide transport service.

Do not stay at this so.called hotel even if it is for free let alone the rip off price they charge

Location Bed

It is not a hotel but rather some rooms in a random office building. The so-called front desk closes at 9 pm. If by any chance you loose your room key you are doomed until the next morning. The smell of the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. It seems there was a leakage from the toilet so it smelled like urine all over. If I had not paid a fortune for the room I would have moved to another hotel nearby.

Quirky, offbeat location that is a hidden gem for room size and location.

excellent value for money in a very useful location, just next to the main station. great size room, more like a rented bedsit than a hotel room.

check in location is not where the rooms are. to access the rooms is a labyrinthine affair through the main bus station and down a small corridor and then some. other than the room there are no additional hotel facilities, but with its proximity to the shopping mall and stations you are well serviced. still, the location and cost are ample reward for a small compromise on the quirkiness of this accommodation.

Good location but old and tired room

It's right at the Taipei station, but prepare to walk as the station is very big and the room is through one of the small lane, up to what seems like residential building to me.

The reception is only available from 11am to 9pm. We initially wanted to check out early and collect about 10pm as our flight is 245am. So we had to make some changes to check out after 11am and leave luggage and then to collect before 9pm. If your flight time is not so late then it won't be an issue. The room also look old and tired, unlike the pictures. Sofa is heavily stained.

Most convenient hotel in Taipei

Excellent location with close access to food, shopping & all transportation ( Bus, Train, HSR, & MRT).

The check in & out service is not 24 hours. Only from 11am-9pm.

Peaceful stay

I feel very comfortable staying with them. Nice view staying on the top level 16. Feel very peaceful. No much noise outside the corridor. You will not feel hungry. Food is everywhere. Just below the stay there two 7-11 shop, cafe, shopping, supermarket, bus station. Is so convenient. Will be back again.

May be can have shower and shampoo dispenser, that will b great. Other then that... all are great.

Never again, can’t stand lies

We got a room completely different from what is advertised, we called the service desk and asked for an explanation. They said the public facilities are part of the square meters (garden, which is accessible to all people who stay here). The room was less than 18m2 (46m2 is advertised), should have a sitting corner (as shown in the pictures) and a 40 inch flat screen tv (it had an old 32 inch). We called again as we were sort of flabbergasted after the first explanation and now they switched us to a different family room (2 double beds), this room is about 24m2, still half of what is advertised but the best they could do at the moment (does have a 40inch tv now). It’s the weekend here so finding another hotel in such short notice is sort of impossible, otherwise we would have surely cancelled. This advertisement should be taken offline as it’s just straight up lying about what it really is and we still feel scammed being left with no other option than to accept this.

Great hotel super convinient to enjoy mrt, bus, train

1. Room quality: clean, neat, big and comfort bed. Has balcony to enjoy fresh air. High ceiline. Has small kitchen. Bath room is super clean, new ad water is super strong. 2. Hotel location: very convient. Right inside taipei bus station hence you can just walk from station to hoel entry. Will not get wet if raining.

Hotel hard to find with the black door and hidden next to bus station door. Need to improve your decoration. Change the dark color to make hotel more welcome.

its my second time cheking in. and i probably will go back again in master hotel

the location is very easy to find.

the first time i went there... theres a sofa and a table a kitchen sink with cavinets. but when i go back,the room design change😅

no-smoking rule not enforced

The location is great.

Unfortunately, the management felt my neighbor's right to violate the hotel's own no-smoking rule was more important than my right to breathe clean air. After all, they already got my money at that point. The nice front desk lady did move me to another floor after much pleading with her boss. The correct response, however, would be to charge and kick out the offender. Welcome to Taiwan.

Great Location; Improvement on Cleanliness Needed

I was looking very much forward to staying at Master Hotel based on previous recommendations. The location was definitely good being just above the bus station and Taipei Main Station. The room size was also good for a family of four.

The staff wasn't helpful with luggage and if you're travelling with small children, this is a disadvantage. The cleanliness did not meet expectations as there were dusts (lots of it) on the floor. Housekeeping did not change the saucers with a cleaner one after cleaning the room too. Much has to be improved for cleanliness at the hotel.
