Nicht zu empfehlen

Es war eine Katastrophe! Erst kommt man an und es ist niemand da und der Self Check in war aus. Um 15Uhr kam dann jemand, nachdem das halbe Hotel schon vor der Tür stand und wartete. Sehr unmotiviert. Das Zimmer war dann der Hammer! Der Teppich war so eklig, dass man Angst hatte die Socken werden dreckig!

Auch wenn das Hotel am 17.7.24 erst übernommen wurde, kann man das so nicht anbieten!

Enttäuschend

Der Service war leider unterirdisch. Check-in war erst um 15 Uhr obwohl im Vorfeld besprochen wurde (allerdings noch mit Ibis), dass ich auch früher rein kann. Self Check-in hat nicht funktioniert, Notfallnummer ging keiner ran. Morgens am Tag der Anreise hatte ich noch mit dem Hotel telefoniert damit ich die Daten für den self Check-in bekomme, wurde mir zugesichert habe ich aber nicht erhalten. Auf die Nachricht über Booking.com hat auch niemand reagiert. Für die Zimmerausstattung können sie nichts da das von Ibis übernommen wurde. Aber ich hoffe sie machen das „Badezimmer“ neu. Eine Nasszelle finde ich beim campen ok aber nicht in einem Hotel. Die Lage ist sehr laut, direkt in einem Gewerbegebiet mit einer viel befahrenen Straße.

Nichts für große Leute

Die Lage

Betten knallhart. Toilette zu klein um diese normal zu nutzen. das war schon erbärmlich mit 1,97m, Dusche war ok. Und der Teppich sah wirklich ekelhaft aus, und es war noch Müll im Mülleimer

Zum Übernachten hat es gereicht.

Die Lage des Hotels ist okay. Aufzug ist vorhanden. Tür öffnet per Code, kein Schlüssel notwendig

Ibis stay underwhelming

The bed was very comfortable at least 😌

It was a very basic room for the price, the room was never cleaned in 2 days even though I left the sign on my door to say it was OK to come in when I went out for the day. Never anyone around in reception, whenever I passed through daily. is just outside Essen in the middle of nowhere, around 40 minutes walk or 10 minutes bus,cab or Metro into Essen. 10 minute walk to the Metro o then a 10 minute Metro ride to Essen Hbf. I didn't think that the hotel was worth the money as I expected something better.

Perfektes Business Hotel für 1-3 Nächte.

Praktisch eingerichtet, bequemes Bett. Alles vorhanden, was ich für eine Nacht so brauche.

Die Kunstofftüren von den Sanitärräumen knallen sehr laut zu. Das war nachts schon unangenehm.

Der Boden vom Zimmer war so dreckig das wir nicht ohne Schuhe über den Boden gehen konnten … Sauberkeit sollte immer vorausgesetzt werden.

The hotel as such is ok, also the location.

I will never return to this hotel and I do not recommend it to others. The attitude of the staff on 25.03.2023 is terrible. I think today's so-called Hotel Boss should take some courses or change his profession altogether and go to work at the zoo with the animals.

OK for a one night business stay but nothing more.

Room generally clean. Aircon worked.

Breakfast unavailable as refurbishment underway, food and drink vending machines empty other than two bottles of beer. Rooms had tired carpets and decor. Shower was barely warm. Shower and toilet very compact.

We were not able to stay and find a solution to stay. And lost the chnace to attend exhibition

Bad action against customer. Instead of trying to calm down customers, prefer and not to tallk and explain and lock the entrance door.

Bad talking style to customers who left on the street. there was no available room not only in Essen but also in the ergion.

The price, it had AC

The photo on the website had hard wood floor while the room we got had stained carpet. We used flip flops inside the entire time. The room had an odor, like it was not well ventilated.

Besaid additionally paid breakfast it was acceptable.

Room was fine, definitely not exceptional but for that price let's say it's fine.

Breakfast - no water, just bred rolls, yogurt, eggs(not even scrambled eggs), ham, cheese, jam - really limited, for additionally paid once it was disappointing.
