About this house rental
Lake Hartwell home with beautiful views on a deep water cove. Open floorplan to make entertaining family and friends easy. Main floor has two bedrooms with king sized beds and two full baths on the main level. One bathroom has a walk in shower and the other has tub/shower combo. Hardwood floors throughout the house. Tile floors in each bathroom.
Basement has additional sleeping and entertaining area. Basement has walkout to patio bar overlooking the lake, firepit and paved walkway to the dock.
Relax on the deck or screened in porch with plenty of seating and dining areas, enjoy your family and guests while you grill and enjoy the views.
From the basement level, there is a mild sloping cement walkway to the dock and water.
The home comfortably sleeps 6-8 people (6 adults maximum) and all ages can enjoy this home.
Platform dock allows for a boat to be docked during your stay. The dock-toon is a fun covered place for all members of your group of sit and enjoy the water. Great fishing in deep water, fresh spring fed cove.
Downtown Hartwell is approximately 7 miles from the house. There are a variety of restaurants and brewery downtown. For additional shopping, there is an Ingles Market and Wal-Mart as well.
We are located approximately an hour away from Greenville, SC, and 40 mins away from Clemson University.

House was everything they said it was. Very easy walk down to the dock. Beds were super comfortable. I had to sweep and vacuum when we arrived but other than that it was amazing!
Would definitely rent again.

What a beautiful place. It has it's own dock with a nice sidewalk leading down to it. My husband caught some nice fish. If you are looking for a nice quiet relaxing vacation. Look this up. I give it 5 stars!!!

House was amazing and the property was great. We loved spending time in the sunroom playing cards and the large jenga that was outside. The lake was down, so there was quite a step down from the walkway (that was amazing!) and then again up onto the dock. The owner was very communicative and we were overall pleased with our stay!

This was a beautiful and clean home on the water. We enjoyed our stay- our favorite part of the house was the porch looking out onto the lake. Owner was kind and responded to communication quickly. Would definitely recommend!

The house was so charming! Newly renovated and comfortable! It was designed to be low maintenance and very functional! We cooked every night and the house was well stocked with high quality pots and pans. The yard, privacy of the dead end street and the waterfront were perfect for our family and the dogs! All the neighbors we met were friendly! We sat on the dock very day and relaxed in the shade of the floating pontoon boat/ dock. It is a deep water cove so there were many cannonballs off the dock! The water was so clear you could watch all the fish. The lake is very paddle friendly and we made great use of the kayak provided but mostly, we floated in the lake near the dock. The sunsets were stunning too. It was a perfect vacation spot!

This was out second stay at this cute house on Lake Hartwell. The house was very clean and other than toilet paper it had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked and has dishes, spices and even sugar. We only used one of the beds on the main floor and it was very comfortable. There is very easy access to the lake and we loved relaxing on the dock and on the large screened porch. There are grocery stores and restaurants within a few minutes of the house. There is a kayak and a nice large floating pad for whose who want to have some fun in the water. I would definitely rent this house again.

Four of us had a very pleasant stay at Blue Hart Cottage. Plenty of room and a nice layout, with extra space in the basement area. The enclosed back porch area is great for playing games. Perfect location on the lake, on a quiet inlet with undeveloped land across from the cottage. City of Hartwell is about 15 minutes away for shopping and dining.

It was a wonderful experience. If you want seclusion and activities. It was great! Dani was quick and responsive when unprecedented weather arrived during our trip causing a hiccup. She took the time to do all that she could within her power to help and accommodate.

Super cute is right, we loved the indoor and outdoor fireplaces! Owners were super quick to respond and attentive. I can only image in warmer months how fun it would be on the lake.

The property was very nice and our favorite spot was the screened porch. The view was lovely and our dogs enjoyed sleeping out there on their beds! The cove was peaceful and quiet…just the getaway we needed!

All was great. We had plenty of room and the place was clean. The only thing I saw that needed extra care was maybe to exterminate again. We saw several little sqiggles(worm) and couple roaches down stairs. I couldn't have ask for a easier check in. Thanks for renting your home to us.

Beautiful location.
Beautiful location, neighbors and surrounding friends who came to neighbors dock were loud at all hours of the night. They only came in on Saturday, definitely reccomend booking during the week day to avoid them. Host was amazing, quick responders to anything we needed. They had a pamplet at their house with every possible question you could have. Landing location, food, ect. Very beautiful place. Will definitely come back.

Our family loved this lake house. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the basement. The house was well stocked with towels and kitchen equipment. Loved the access to the dock that wasn’t too steep of a hill. Great location close to Hartwell.

Great Getaway
We had a great time at this cottage. It was well stocked with all of the necessities. The floating dock was a big hit. We went to downtown Hartwell for shopping and dining and had a great time.

The Blue Heart Cottage has my heart!
I cannot say enough good things about this property! The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, all linens and towels were provided and lovely. We (me, my husband, 5yo, 8yo, and dogs) had the best time whether fishing from the dock, playing games on the screen porch, or watching a movie in the family room. The kitchen had everything we needed and the grill worked well. We had several fires in the fire pit, and the kids even got to swim off the dock. The hosts were responsive to questions and wonderfully pleasant. You will not regret renting this place!
