Beautiful location, a cosy home away from home.

Beautiful space, felt like a home away from home. Extremely comfortable with everything you need for a self contained stay. The location was perfect, 10 minute walk to town, beautiful views, nice and quiet spot. Wifi worked perfectly and the delicous scones on arrival were extremly appreciated! Would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night break in Oban . Pamela, our host, greeted us on arrival . The home baking in the apart

The apartment is very nicely furnished , clean , spacious & welcoming . It is situated overlooking Oban - the town centre & harbour area are about a 15 minute walk away .

A charming, well-equipped apartment in the hills overlooking Oban.

A charming self-catering first-floor apartment in a detached building opposite the owner's house. Bright, clean and well-equipped. The helpful, friendly owner welcomed us with cake and prosecco.

Just one small detail - the choice of TV channels is a bit restricted and the wifi bandwidth wasn't sufficient for uninterrupted streaming of TV programmes on our laptop computer. Provision of a smart TV with streaming and/or screen mirroring capability would be a help to guests.

Fantastic stay in a top quality apartment - Thank you!!

The apartment is very private and well equipped, perfect for a couple. Everything was very clean. The two generous slices of freshly made coffee sponge waiting in the cake stand on the tea trolley to welcome us was particularly nice! It proved to be a great base for exploring the west coast, Mull and Ardnamurchan (great walking in Glencoe and Ben Cruachan!)

The wi-fi was not very usable - I had plenty of data and 4G so used that instead. My wife had poor 4G on her network and struggled to use the internet during our stay. This is the only negative, and we thoroughly recommend this apartment to visitors to Oban.

everything was good - especially the kitchen - saved us lots of money on meals out

no instruction manual for appliances etc - had to Google or text owner but we got there in the end

Beautiful apartment

The apartment is furnished to a high standard, it was the ideal place to return to after a day exploring the area. Easy to walk to the shops, restaurants etc in Oban in around 15 min.

Great, relaxing few days away.

The Rowan Tree Apartment was just lovely. It exceeded our expectations from the little touches like the homemade cake on arrival to the lovely throws and cushions, pretty and so cosy. The views were lovely and the walk into town was just the right length of time and gave us a chance to see a little more of Oban than we have in the past. All in all a lovely two day stay. We met our host Pamela briefly on arrival and then when we were leaving. She was lovely and we will definitely stay there again.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Great for a get away and has everything you need.

Very spacious and light apartment. The bed was so comfy we didn't want to get out of it. It is nice and clean and in a nice quite area. Had no issues contacting the owner just to double check a few things and Pamela was very helpful and friendly. Had a nice view over the rooftops towards the harbour area and its not far to walk into the town. We would definitely stay there again!

Great Oban Stay

Very comfortable, had everything that was required for our stay. The cake on arrival and milk in the fridge was a nice touch. The location was great and we could easily get into town by walking and a taxi back was more than reasonable

The only thing I’d say is that there were no real instructions on what was required from us. Where exactly did you want us to park? Maybe provide separate bins as we weren’t sure what to do with our rubbish and how to operate the hob (took a while but we managed after about 5 mins) Other than that, nothing to say

We were not expecting much - but we were very impressed by this outstanding apartment. Best Ever !

The apartment was superb-exceeding our wildest dreams.The place was spotlessly clean and had everything that you could want or need. reasonably close to the vibrant town centre, down a hill, but it was simple to get a taxi back to this apartment. (It cost only £4.60 ). Oban was very busy when we went so taking the car into town was a no no as parking is virually impossible during the busy summer months. The hosts had made us a cake and laid out cups for tea / coffee, which was much needed after our drive to Oban. The views from the hilltop site over Oban were STUNNING!. We cannot reccomend this apartment more highly. In fact it is the best we have ever stayed in by quite a way

Very comfortable stay

We were presented with cake and a lovely tea set on arrival, the apartment was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Location was about a 20 minute walk into town which suited us fine. We got a bit lost and weren’t able to load the directions provided in the email and had to call the host directly who was lovely and helped guided us to the apartment. Overall we really enjoyed the stay.

The only downside was the blinds in the living room were thin and see through which didn’t allow us much privacy from the neighbouring properties.

Excellent accomodation in a lovely spot.

Self catering, but host left some wonderful cake for us when we arrived. Located at the top of a hill, which we expected and helped improve our fitness level. Views are lovely. Very quiet, really enjoyed our stay.
