The house was perfect for what we needed for a few days. Near the beach, walking distance. The interior need some upkeep and cleaning out. It seems as though the house used to be a home and is now a rental but there are lot of random things in the house that could be removed and that would give the whole place a cleaner feeling. There are random chairs in the loft, random knick knacks/cabinets/tables that just seem to have been put in corners. A lot of the furniture was not needed and could have been removed. House location is great!

The place was nice and big but needs a good overall cleaning. Frames, fans carpets are horrible especially in the family room. Mirror in bathrooms had toothpaste spray on it and the dish washer looked like it has been run but was not emptied. There was no dish water detergent. We washed our own as there was soap and a new sponge. Plus someone needs to clean out cabinets and drawers. I know it is a rental but all houses need big cleanings a couple of times a year. Beds were comfortable, linen clean which is a big plus and property manager very reliable Thank you

We loved the place, the layout and location. We would stay there again. But, there were a number of things to know. The furnishings are pretty old, some were broken, some lights don’t actually turn on, there was a fairly large stain on the master bedroom carpet and the bedroom or bathroom was very dim. There was also a fair amount of the owner’s belongings around, either in a few drawers or stacked in a corner. They had plenty of pillows but not enough pillowcases and sheets were oddly thin.
Quite a few of these items would be easy to fix. The common areas of the house were the best part, the kitchen was attractive and. It looks like, there was a somewhat recent renovation of the showers

Pros: the house is close to the beach. The neighborhood is lovely and there are multiple restaurants walking distance from the house that were good (Mickey’s Family Crab House & Cottage Cafe are some places we tried). The kitchen of the house looks fairly updated. The living room/dining room/kitchen are a great open space for family and friends to gather in. Both bathrooms look like they have updated tile work in the showers. The screened in porch is nice to play board games in at night.
Cons: Though Vacasa cleaned the inside of the house, they did NOT clean the deck nor the garage area of the house as they were supposed to. The garage is how you enter the house and there were piles of leaves and dirt everywhere. Every time you use the outdoor shower, you would get dirty again trying to walk back into the house. I emailed Vacasa; no response. . I called the next day and they said they would send someone to clean. A women showed up who said they should have sent a maintenance worker. She wanted to put some of the leaves in a pile and leave. It got to the point where my husband ended up using her equipment to clean up most of the leaves and dirt as she didn’t seem to know why she was there. That was unacceptable. I emailed my concern to Vacasa and have not heard back. Looks like I have to call them again. This is the second house we have stayed in overseen by Vacasa and again some type of cleaning is an issue for them. Another con is the bedroom decor and furniture needs to be updated. For a house that is estimated over $1 million, the bedrooms do not do it justice. Also the bathroom fixtures need to be updated. They are a brassy gold color that is fading and looks worn. Also be careful trying to sit on the deck furniture, some chairs are falling apart and most are very old. I recommend those be replaced.

The upstairs room worked great for the children and 3 couples were all happy with their bedrooms on the main level. The open kitchen, dining, and living room area is great for family togetherness. There were however a few little things that fortunately were not a big concern for us. Many burnt out lightbulbs, with no replacement bulbs found. Several electric outlets worn so badly that cords fall out. Televisions in bedrooms not working. The house was generally clean but trash left in kitchen trash can and the previous guests garbage remained under the house for us to take to the curb. Oh...and the microwave works but makes noises that convinces users to stand back while it is in use. All in all, we would definitely stay here again.

The house has a good open concept kitchen and hang out area. The entry way was a little dirty and had trash and supplies just tossed around. But overall - good value. And we had a great time.

loved it was a few blocks from the beach and in a cul-de-sac so it was quiet and not too busy- great for kids. Has a loft for the kids to sleep. it was perfect how you came in though downstairs and there was an outdoor shower to keep the sandiness at bay. Only drawback was that there was a king bed on description and it was not a king in the master suite. I loved the open concept and the outdoor seating. Would 100% recommend this house! thanks

Our family of 6 adults was very happy and comfortable for our one week stay. We could easily have added a few more people and been just as comfortable. Two very nice full baths and an outdoor shower made things go smoothly. We cooked all breakfasts and most dinners and found everything we needed to do so. Packed lunches and a short walk later we were sitting on the beach for the day. Spacious, lovely home that we would happily rent again! All linens provided was a great plus!!

Extended family of 8 had a great stay. The loft was perfect for the kids and three bedrooms for the adults. Walking distance to the beach and the boardwalk.

We had a great time in Bethany beach at this house! The house was good for two families. The beds were a little firm for my liking and we needed to bring everything from trash bags to sugar! We did not cook any meals while we were there so I am not sure if the kitchen is equipped for that! Overall we had a great time!
