I wish that the back deck and patio area were better. There are cracked chairs. It really would not take much.to make it more inviting.Coffee pot was not clean. Other than that it was great! Love how close we were to downtown.

It was a amazing home for us during the state fair! Everything is clean and comfortable. We were always in communication with owners. I highly recommend and am very thankful!

This house was in the neighborhood where I used to live. Easy access, good parking, great layout, and did not need to communicate with the property manager
4.7
Overall the place was comfortable , clean and homey. Great communication with host.
Neighborhood is fun and diverse.
Hard to open door at times. Also wish the outdoor porch was cleaned up.

Everyone had enough personal space! Cozy towels! Hot showers!

Property was nice. It’s listed as 4 bedrooms but truly is 3. Worked for what we needed.

Lovely older home. Owners were amazing in their communication. Close to downtown. Could use a few updates (like the coffeemaker).

This lovely and comfortable home suited our sibling reunion perfectly. The chef’s kitchen/spacious DR was ideal for our “private chef” evening and there was lots of opportunity to catch up in the cozy LR. Our off-street parking was a plus!

Great location. Easy to
Get around.

Close to everything we wanted to see in Milwaukee and nice walk to beach

We enjoyed the house. It had everything we needed. It was a great location for everything we wanted to do.

Our stay was fantastic! Great location w walking access to groceries (Whole Foods), nice beaches, and pubs/restaurant. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we also made use of the grill. Very comfy beds and living space and the large dining table fit all 10 of us comfortably. Thank you!!
4.7
Wonderful location in MKE close to downtown and walking distance to great coffee, Cafes, restaurants and grocery.
Owners are super responsive with any question we had.
Wonderful family stay, just what we needed.

The location was perfect. The house is old and in need of care on the outside yard. Inside was clean and comfortable. Great space and kitchen area. TV’s did not work at all but other than that it was 4 stars.
4.7
The whole stay just needed more attention. The patio, deck and bathroom were dirty. All the patio furniture was broken and dirty.
All the mattresses were on the floor, no bed frames . The dishwasher leaked, the oven didn’t work. It just wasn’t fully ready for guests. The manager was easy to communicate with but for the nightly rate the house should have been ready to welcome us.
4.7
This was easy to find, great space for everyone, loved the outdoor space, great location to shops, stores, restaurants, etc. Although there was a public bus stop (which is great for getting around the city without worrying about parking :)) and an upstairs unit, it was SO quit!!! We were super impressed by this! The owners were great to work with and always responded quickly! We definitely recommend this stay!

We all throughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of room for the whole group. The moment we walked in we all felt comfortable. Lots of light and open spaces. Extremely clean. They thought of everything, from cotton buds to spices in the kitchen. Had a nice selection of teas to choose from. Laundry room was fully stocked for guests use. Short walk to a lovely coffee shop. Bus stop right out front of house. Very close to lakeshore, walking distance. We were very fortunate to have found such a nice property. It is well looked after.

The house is in a great location within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. We did drive some due to inclement weather.

This was a wonderful place. From the thoughtful decor to the coffee ready to brew and the assortment of teas, we loved this place.

Property is very nice and the use of one stall of the 2-stall garage was nice, but it's very tight for driver to get in and out, so keep that in mind if elderly. Also keep in mind this is an old home and while it has been nicely renovated and updated, it has old bones so has some things that go with an old home, like a few drafty windows and cold floors, especially in the basement which is just something that comes with what you'd expect of an old home.
Amenities are all very comfortable, decent beds, and furniture throughout, showers and bathrooms both work well. Kitchen is nice and well appointed. Nice refrigerator with in-door ice and water dispenser.
Location is great, we drove everywhere due to cold and inclement weather, but could easily and safely walk a few blocks to some of the shops, bars and restaurants.
Would highly consider renting here again.

We booked this for 4 adults (two in late 70s) and 2 kids (ages 3, 4) to stay at while in town for a wedding. Location was great, communication with owners was great and they were responsive to questions and requests (there weren't any kitchen towels so they had a property manager drop off the next morning, there was some poison ivy in the back near the steps from the driveway to the house that they had their property manager remove the first evening, etc).
We were told we'd have 2 garage spots and when we arrived, one stall was half filled with boxes from work being done in the upper unit. We ended up being able to shuffle cars around to make it work, but would have been nice to have two stalls.
The 4th "bedroom" in the basement is more of a family room with a pull-out couch. It does have a door, so I guess that's why it's considered a BR but it wasn't what we were expecting from the listing.
There's a pretty big lip/small step from the dining room to the kitchen which was a little surprising and tricky for my elderly parents to navigate. The kitchen also had Viking appliances, but really flimsy cooking utensils that weren't great to use. There were also a handful of dishes and cups that were put away in the cabinets that were dirty when we went to use them. Nothing was a huge deal in and of itself, but there were a handful of smaller things that would probably have me find a different place if we come back to MKE.
Again, great location, great responsiveness by hosts, just some things that could have been cleaner/nicer for the overall price we paid.

Clean, bright and comfortable. Off the street parking added bonus. We would stay here again.

This location is excellent! Very easy to ride bikes to the bike trail which can take you to the Lakefront. Great neighbor with easy walk to the lake and walking trails there as well as local restaurants, stores and coffee shops. So nice to have off street parking and garage availability. The owner has remodeled the home nicely. As a family we were all able to sit down for meals at the big, beautiful table. It is an older home so there are some old home quirks but nothing that compromises a comfortable stay. The owner was very responsive to any needs we had and replied very quickly to questions we had. I would recommend this property as your home away from home when in Milwaukee.

Outstanding Eastside Milwaukee VRBO
Wonderful location and clean, lovely home. Amazing host, very responsive when we had to contact him on a Sunday AM when we locked ourselves out! Our family was visiting family in the area and we were able to walk to see them, to church, to the lake, to grocery store all nearby. Off street parking with garage very helpful. Our group asked us to reserve for next years visit! Highly recommend and one of our favorite VRBOs.

Spacious duplex in great location of Milwaukee
This vrbo suited our needs for our Milwaukee stay. There is plenty of room to spread out for groups/large families. The kitchen is nice & we loved the sizable dining room table. Our younger adult family members said they would like to have apartments like this vrbo. The host is quick to respond to all needs. The bathrooms didn't have washclothes but we made due by using the many hand towels provided. I didn't feel it necessary to ask the host for any during our short stay. The main level bathroom tub & sink drain slowly. The basement bathroom didn't have this issue. Basement could use treatment for spiders. Finally, the floors could use a good mopping with hot soapy water. Swiffer Wet does an okay job for a while but it seemed it was time for an old-fashioned hot water mop. Don't let that deter you though...I have no doubt the host will remedy anything brought to their attention. Great location; great host.

Property was clean, nicely appointed and conveniently located. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Coming from out of town, I wasn't 100% sure if we were staying in a good area, but it ended up being even more ideal than I had hoped. The house is walking distance to several restaurants, cafes, a few bars and Bradford Beach. It's also a short Uber ride away from most of the main areas around Milwaukee.
The host and rental property management, was excellent - quick to reply and very accommodating. The property itself was clean and had plenty of room for our group of 9. Would highly recommend and will look to rebook here if I ever find myself in MKE again with a group. Thanks Billy!
