About this house rental

This beautiful and spacious chalet is perfect for family reunions and large group getaways. Intended for family and friends to spend quality time together and make wonderful memories.

Enter ground level into spacious beautiful game room. Game room features 2 large flat screen TV's, family room area to sit, wet bar with 8 stools, full size shuffleboard, pool table, ping pong table and foosball! It has also 2 bedrooms with a full bathroom plus laundry facility. Outdoor games include corn hole toss and ladder ball. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds and flat screen TV's.

Main floor has a Great room with large screen TV and gas fireplace. Kitchen is fully stocked for large groups with seating for 16 people in addition to island seating. Large pantry and wine cooler/fridge. Owner suite on Main floor has a king size bed, private bath with jetted tub and private outside balcony. There is a large four season room for additional space to enjoy board/card games. This room includes a day bed, TV and fireplace. Walk out to a very large deck with a Weber grill and Blackstone grill overlooking 10 acres of Hickory Run State Park.

The upper level offers 3 additional bedrooms. Bedroom one has 2 sets of bunk beds- twin over full, TV as well as a private bathroom. Bedroom two has a queen size bed with tv, and bedroom three has a king size bed with TV. Full bathroom with tub in hallway. Futon in loft area.

All beds have quilts and pillows. Bed linens and towels are provided.

Brand new hot tub.

Pool open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.

Love the house. Game room was a big hit with everyone. Hoy tub came in second. We all have a wonderful time and would rent it again. Plenty of space for our three families. The porch is great to watch wildlife. Deer and bears. Things youu should know: The community is nice, but the small lake and pool were not so friendly. Also, the paper wrist bands were stupid only 8 per house but one you put one on its not reuseable. No help at the community rec office as to how to do it. The other thing is there is no trash pickup so you must bring it to the community trash not a big deal except the hours are not the same every day.

This was a great house for a bachelor party, plenty of space for everyone, and lots of games and things to do without even having to leave. Highly reccomend this house.

Our stay was fantastic!! The house was plenty big for all of us (5 couples and a few solo). The downstairs game room was filled with all kinds of activities that kept us busy for hours. The upstairs kitchen and living room were big enough for all of us to lounge, and all the bedrooms were very spacious and clean. The hot tub was great too. Eric was very easy to communicate with, we hope to be back here again!

Met my elementary school friends and their children to ski and relax. This house was perfect. We enjoyed everything. Loved the big kitchen table to eat with all and to reminisce of when we were younger. Kids loved all the games.

What a great property. When we vacation we enjoy being off the beaten path. This property truly delivers. My wife and I have a 10yo son who had a blast playing with all of the games. Our favorite was the shuffle board table top. So comfortable and relaxing. We are hoping to book this property again in the summer. So pleased. I’d recommend adding a QR code with trash drop off location (directions are a little confusing for this WV boy). Overall very pleased.

This spacious house was clean and well appointed. We loved having beds and baths on all 3 floors, and the basement game room was a big hit with the kids. Instructions for everything were very clear and Eric was very accommodating and great about responding. There were lots of nice touches like the coffee bar, a fresh dish sponge with dish liquid and dishwasher tabs, boxes of tissues scattered throughout the house, hand soap at all the sinks, etc. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, and had matching dinnerware and glassware to set the table for 15 of us. Overall definitely recommend this property!

One of the best short term rentals I’ve ever stayed in. This house has it all! We barely left the house all weekend because there were a ton of fun things for the kids and adults. Everyone kept saying all weekend that this house has all of the little things that make a rental special. Kitchen was well stocked, deck is great, and the basement is a lot of fun. Owner was great with communication. We hope we are lucky to return soon.

The house was wonderful and perfect for our family.The game room was especially a nice spot for us. We loved the deck, although we could sometimes hear the nearby traffic. We were a bit disappointed with the Towamensing Trails Club: 1. Did not provide enough passes for all our family. We would have gladly paid for additional passes so we could be there together. 2. Our grandson could not swim in the main pool even with a swimmer's diaper 3. We could not use our kayak because it was not registered 4.We were not allowed to buy an alcoholic drink with our lunch. 5.There were no lounge chairs at the pool area. Lucky for us, the house was spectacular and that's where we spent most of our time!

House was great with so many different games to play and plenty of room to play multiple games at once so no one was board. A lot of different spots in the house to hang out or go to a side room to watch TV. Only downside was we had 12 people and can only have 8 people at a time go to the lake or the beach area so we didn’t want to split up and couldn’t go since it sounded very strict about having bracelets on when in those areas. Host was very quick to respond and helpful with everything before arriving and be never had any issues while there.

The house was wonderful in every way and seemed perfectly designed for all guests to have as much fun as possible. The downstairs game room had us up to the wee hours playing game after game of pool, ping pong and shuffle board. The PacMan machine actually has a dozen different old style arcade games to choose from. The upstairs card and board game room just off the kitchen was constantly occupied. With large flat screen TVs in every room, the only decision was where to relax next! The giant deck with its high end Weber grill and Blackstone gas griddle was delightful. All the bed rooms were sizeable and all the beds quite comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub every night. Our host Eric supplies linens and towels which is a huge plus The fully stocked kitchen included everything you could ask for including every utensil imaginable, endless pots and pans and even a crock pot. We're still in awe of how enjoyable our stay was and can't wait to come back again next year!

This was a great house that had everything you could want for a fun adult or family gathering. We used all the games, the outdoor jacuzzi and cooked in its well-equipped kitchen. The house is a short drive to Skiing and the property owner was extremely attentive before, during and as we wrapped up our say. We will be back at this house!!

Location was perfect. Looking into the woods, felt like we were secluded, but in a quiet neighborhood. The pool table/ shuffle board etc. room is all and more than quality games. The separate poker room/ checker etc. room was fun. We didn’t expect all of the nice holiday decorations. Thank you👌 All the kitchen needs and more, very well stocked. …and the hot tub! Wow! We all loved our time at your home, so comfortable. Can’t say enough about this place.

We are a military family that was looking for a getaway weekend. We found just that and some. This home is excellent. It was bigger and featured more that what the listing says. The family enjoyed every bit of this property. Eric took great care of us in the booking process. We had so much fun that we never even left the house. Looking forward to return soon.

The pictures don't do this house justice. And don't be fooled by the basic front face of the house, once you enter you'll see why it gets great reviews. The layout on the main floor is fantastic. It's open floor plan allowed all 10 of our party to hang out but also have separate conversations. The table is absolutely great for a sit down dinner. The deck is perfect and there is a backyard to play lawn games. The house is also really well sound proofed. We could play music upstairs and the people downstairs playing games could barely hear it. Outside you couldn't hear it at all. House was clean, exit instructions were easy. Driveway is huge. The biggest downside was the 5 minute drive through the neighborhood to get there. But that's really not a bad thing at all. Would absolutely stay here again.

This house was beautiful! Very spacious! Game room was a big hit for the kids! House was equipped with all appliances, came with linens and towels, and everything we needed to prepare meals daily. The only inconvenience was having to drive the trash every day to the dumpsters (about 15 min round trip). Overall, very pleased with our stay and Eric was very responsive with everything!

The place was clean and very spacious. A great and convenient location for a group that wanted to meet up together and go paintballing at the Skirmish. We were snowed in one of the days but we made the most of it with the activities that the host had provided.
