About this house rental

This property is on the northside of La Crosse, close to all major travel paths in and out of town. Old Town shopping center and the famous Sweet Shop is only a block to the west. Close to the mighty Mississippi and many area attractions. Great food is close. This house has been recently and completely updated. Because of recent problems with guests complying with my allowed pet policy, I have been forced to move to a total no pet policy, with significant penalty for any violation. Sorry, some ruined it for others.

Very clean, nicely remodeled, residential neighborhood. No access to local TV stations, just a smart TV abd need your own logins. We enjoyed our stay.

We attended a wedding at the Greenhouse at Bittersweet and this was within a 7 minute drive. Perfect for my husband and I. If you go and you want to use the tv take your sign on info for Prime, Netflix, etc. It is also only a block away from a great restaurant called Pogreba. A really nicely done renovation of an older home in a quiet neighborhood.

This place is perfect for what we needed. Super clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen was stocked, was walking distance to a couple restaurants, and a short 5 minute ride to downtown. We would definitely visit again. Thanks for the stay.

Our stay was great! Super convenient location for the concert that we had to go to at the loggers baseball field as well as easy parking on the streets during the summer/fall. I would book again if needing to stay in the area!

Overall I was very happy with our stay. It fit exactly what my cousin and I were needing for a family reunion weekend. Close proximity to where the reunion events were. Worked out great. Only comment was, yes, it has A/C as it had listed. However, there was only a small window unit in the bedroom which did not seem to make much difference as was the same for the a/c room unit in the living room. I love my A/C, especially with the hot weather over that weekend. The units worked enough to keep it in the low to mid 70s. I like to keep temps maybe lower than others… 68–70ish (especially at night) and the units available just couldn’t do that. Other than that, it was fine.

Tom's place had everything we needed for our long weekend. I loved the contemporary decor and the artwork. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch and felt safe walking around the neighborhood. Tom was easy to reach when we had questions. I definitely recommend booking with Tom.

Clean and comfortable. Easy and close access to many, many attractions and shopping locations. Location is great for fall color viewing and seasonal farmers market shopping experiences. Many great dining experiences close by as well as a few vineyards with exceptional wines and charcuterie trays.

The stay was very nice here and would and will stay at this property again in the future! Host was very responsive and thoughtful with questions I had. Inside was very nice and comfortable had all things needed to make it a great stay. It is in a little bit of noisy neighborhood but was expected due to it being a corner house by a stop sign with bud traffic and idling cars. Thanks for the nice stay!

Tom provides an affordable, clean, modern, fully stocked, and comfortable home. When I first walked in, I was so pleased with the cleanliness of the home. I was in La Crosse during a warm and humid stretch, the living room and bedroom AC units provided a comfortable temperature. The location is on a corner and there is plenty of street parking available. Easy to navigate the neighborhood and get to where you need to go. Tom will respond to questions day and night, great communication.

I was in town to help my daughter pack up and move after an internship. This was a perfect place just for me, plenty of space clean and close to everything I needed to be for my stay. Tom was really easy to get a hold of and was able to take care of my one issue (which was a minor one). I would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed only one night after going to Irish Fest. Everything was great! Walking distance to the fest grounds and a really great restaurant-Sloopy’s. We had a bit of an issue with the door code to get in but I called and Tom answered right away and took care of it. We’d definitely stay again!

Description says it is a non-smoking unit (duplex), but there is someone who smokes all day right outside the kitchen window (cleaners open windows when cleaning), therefore, it is coming into the house. We had to leave 24hrs early due to the smell (daughter has health issues, which is why we were there seeing a new doctor, which I explained before booking when I asked questions to owner). No apology from owner after I complained when we walked in, no response from owner to myself or Vrbo rep after we complained about having to leave early, no resolution, no refund. Description did not meet expectations.

We had a great stay. Very clean and well stocked with basics plus some essentials in case you forget anything. We brought our dog with us which worked great to have a dog friendly place. We stayed for visiting family in the area. Was easy to find and get around to anything in town and nearby. We would stay again.
