About this apartment rental
Welcome to our 800 sqft modern guest studio atop Queen Anne Hill! The studio is located in the basement of an adorable bungalow that still has its original facade from when it was built in 1915.
For a basement, the studio is spacious-- having room for living, dining, working, and sleeping! The Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired built-in furniture will make this one of the most unique basements you have ever seen. We have all the essentials for a fun weekend trip or a month stay. This studio is in the perfect location to launch your next Seattle adventure
There is a washing machine and dryer available in the unit. The backyard furniture is also available to guests.
My roommate and I will be living in the house upstairs and can answer any questions about things to do in the neighborhood, city, or recommend hikes nearby. You may see us in the backyard, but otherwise you will not have to interact with us if you don't want to!
Note that for stays over 1 week long, we will have to work out a schedule for using the laundry room in the basement as it is the only one on the property.
You will fall in love with the tree-lined streets of this quiet and safe neighborhood. We are sheltered from the action of the city, but the city is easily accessible by walking, bus, or ride share.
There are a few bus lines close to the house that will take you downtown in about 20 min. We are 2 miles to the Space Needle, 1.5 miles to Fremont, and just minutes walk from Seattle Pacific University, local coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores and more.
PLEASE READ:
1. This space is equipped with a wet bathroom. The small bathroom has a low doorway, so please be careful stepping inside. If you are uncomfortable with a shower directly next to the toilet, please take a look at the photos and reviews.
2. The basement stays cool during the summer. There is no AC, but there is a whole house fan I keep on, and a portable fan is provided.
3. We do not allow pets of any kind to ensure an allergy-free experience for all of our guests. No exceptions for hypoallergenic pets.

This rental was just what we needed and the neighborhood was so cute! We loved walking around and renting the scooters to go all around the city and be able to come back to the cute and quiet area. The hosts were also great to work with and extremely accommodating!

This was the perfect spot close to the bustle of the city but far enough away to provide some quiet and comfort! The unit was clean and comfortable and the accommodations all you could need. Instructions were clear and helpful. Would stay again!

We stayed at Queen Anne studio over Fathers Day weekend. Bailee was great host. Home was bottom part of house in a quiet neighborhood in Upper Queen Anne in Seattle. Rental has open concept. In the sitting room there is a couch and chair near tv. In the kitchen area there is a wrap around bench that seats 6 easily with a table and 2 chairs. Small refrigerator with icebox freezer. Keurig/Coffee maker, toaster, and microwave, etc. The bed is comfortable with built in dressers in area. Room can be closed off with drapes that divide room from sitting room. Lighting is very good throughout home. Bathroom has shower that is a wet shower. First time with that style and it was fine. Never heard owners upstairs during day or night. Access is up a few stairs as well as down to your place. We had plenty of eating establishments within 5-6 blocks. Shoppes and boutique style stores also near. I would recommend the Quenn Anne studio for a couple who want to have a relaxing time but are within a rideshare to Seattle downtown areas.

There were no surprises with this unit. It was as advertised and fit our needs perfectly. The location is perfect for those who enjoy visiting a city and taking advantage of all that cities can offer, especially if walking is a significant part of your lifestyle.

This darling place is exactly as shown. The bed is super comfy and things like the big monitor in the office area make working from the location really convenient. Parking was a breeze. The host has great communication and is very pleasant. I would definitely stay again if I need to be in the area.

This rental is wonderful and on an AMAZINGLY beautiful and quiet street at the top of Queen Anne Hill. Restaurants and shops are an easy five to ten minute walk away. Parked right in front of the house on the street with no issues. Lots of room to park. The space is inviting and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. We had everything that we needed. The wet bath is a non issue. Worked perfectly and was no big deal. We could hear the folks upstairs now and again but there was no obtrusive noise when it was time to wind down for the night. If you're tall like me there are a couple of spots that you might bonk your head, but in no way did the space feel cramped. The U shape of the rental made it easy for me to relax in the kitchen "business" area with a little desk and nice chair while my honey snoozed. Communication with the owner was seamless and she was extremely helpful and responded quickly. Big thumbs up. Thank you!

I was generally pleased be the space. The set up was generally good. TV never worked even though I told the host. The shower curtain needs to be replaced. Thanks for a good experience.

This is a unique and cool place to stay for sure, and the host Bailee was good about communication. If you book it on Expedia, it was confusing about checking in and I had to reach out to the host to get the information. The space is great for 2 people and the bed is very comfortable, but if you don't like that the toilet and shower are in one combined space, it may not be the best place for you to stay.

Cozy, safe place
Lovely little spot, snuggled away in the basement of a house. You walk through the fence gate into the backyard and down some stairs to the apartment door. It looks just like the photos. Owner is responsive and kind. I’d love to book it again. I felt very comfortable and safe as a single woman.

This was great! And Bailee so very helpful
We wanted a place near family and this was perfect. The Queen Ann neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and walkable to just about anything you might need. Bailee, our host, was always available if I had questions or needed something. It was a very quiet, peaceful place, comfy bed, attractive and functional set up, especially the kitchenette. We hope to stay here again!
