Great house with amazing views. Plenty of room for our large family.(me, wife, and 7 children). Communication with Christian was always fast and informative even days prior to our arrival.
5.0
This property was perfect for our group of 16 people (10 adults & 6 children ranging from 1 - 6 years old) and 2 Labradors! It’s always difficult trying to find a place that meets the needs of a large group, but this place did not disappoint.
The layout of the house worked great for each family:
Two rooms have walk in closets that came in handy for those that had littles that needed to sleep in a separate room. There was even a pack-n-play we could have used if we had forgotten ours.
The master bathroom is beautiful and has a shower and right across is a shower-tub, which gave us more options to bathe the little ones.
The oversized kitchen table fit all 10 of the adults and the kitchen came with everything you could think of appliance wise. We came prepared with our own drink cups to avoid unnecessary trash, but turns out, we didn’t need to bring our own since the kitchen had 8-10 reusable cups and wine glasses available. The kitchen also had an instant pot and lots of serving trays and Tupperware. It felt like the kitchen was our own because it supplied so many things you normally don’t get in a rental house.
Having a large laundry room was amazing and allowed us to do laundry when needed and was a good spot for the dog’s food/water bowls and anything else we didn’t want to trip over.
The deck and fireplace were used day and night. The view off the deck was breathtaking; definitely the spot you want to drink your morning coffee! It was the perfect place for the adults to hang out at night after the kids went to sleep.
Downstairs was ideal for the family of 6; they took the bunk room and had the downstairs bathroom right outside their room. The large couch and extra fridge and freezer in the garage and game room were a bonus.
The hot tub and porch back up to the hillside which provided some extra privacy and turned into the hangout spot for the dads.
Location was also just as awesome as the house. The house is on a dead-end road, so we were more secluded than most houses, which is always preferred for large groups. The house is just a 5-minute walk down to the community center / play area and a 5-minute drive to the lake. And a very quick drive to town.
Instructions for the house were very simple and straight forward, which is always a relief. The house provided tons of games and had a lot of room to keep everyone happy and entertained. Christian was very quick at responding any time I reached out and was very flexible and accommodating.

Great property for recreation. Owner has many fun amenities - board games, ping pong, foosball, PacMan, ladderball and more. Great fun for families. And kitchen and kitchen utensils are exceptional, as are bath furnishings - soaps, shampoos, towels and wash cloths. Great sunny deck for sitting. This is a really fine property. It would be nice to be closer to a lake, but a short drive accomplishes that. Our extended family had a great time here.

Beautiful!
Everything about this house was beautiful! The design, size, view, location, amenities- I can go on and on! It was perfect for our multiple family getaway with kids. They loved the bunk room, hot tub, and walking around the vicinity to explore. 5 stars all around.

Great time at Goat Mountain Lodge
My friends and I stayed at the lodge over the weekend and overall had a great experience. The photos were accurate. The rooms were nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable (although the bunk bed ladders were a bit hard to get up and down). The house was well-supplied with towels (including dog towels!), kitchenware, and warm blankets. The dining table was huge and could fit our entire group which was great for family style dining. We also enjoyed use of the ping pong table, foosball table, and hot tub. The views were outstanding, with a nice deck looking out to the mountains. Overall, we would stay here again, thanks!

Great Weekend Getaway with Friends and Young Kids
The house was absolutely beautiful and so were the views from the patio off of the main living room. We stayed with some friends of ours and their young kids. We really enjoyed the games in the garage, hot tub, and open floor plan in the living room. Would absolutely stay again!
