The stay was great! Easy to get to the property and perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was one of the better ones we have seen and even decided to cook while here. The propery is shared but we didnt have any issues and it was quite peaceful the entire time.

Beautiful updated property with easy to use amenities, simple instructions for check-in, and kind responsive property manager. Highly satisfied with the stay.

It’s so nice to cook our meals since my wife has so many food allergies. Love the washer and dryer and they included laundry detergent as well. Room was clean and quiet, much more quiet than a typical hotel room.

Nice and clean location but day two my wife and were awoken to a full scale explosive argument from the apartment next to ours which lasted two hours. That same night during the high wind storm my car alarm went off twice which I assumed was due to the high winds but found out later from footage from my dash cam that someone was attempting to take my led light bar off the front on my car.

We loved this place. The location is very convenient, close to the airport, shopping and other places you would visit. The apartment is remodeled with a modern feel and is very well stocked with everything you would need. My only callout would be that it states that it sleeps 6 which seems like a little stretch since there is only a queen bed in the master and a twin bed in the second bedroom. Overall it worked out great for our family of four.

What a modern and beautiful property. I was in Anchorage on business and found this gem in a convenient part of the city. Everything was superb and ultra-clean. Although I didn't cook (it was just me) the kitchen had everything one would need. I liked the double entry for security. The neighborhood was quiet, and about 10 minutes from downtown and the restaurants and stores along Spenard. Highly recommended!

This is a nice clean apartment. It has a very morden vibe. It was quite and located close the grocery store, restaurants, the airport and the hospital. I was there for a week pre and post operative surgery. Was an great space to recover. Lost my email from owner on how to get. Reached out to them via site and was responded to with in minutes. I would recommend this appartment to others and will stay again if visiting Anchorage.

Throughly enjoyed having a permanent home base we could have used a knife sharpener but we made it someday we’ll do this again not saying it’s going to be another 50th anniversary trip just not going to be another one of them anniversaries lol

Barbara was so nice and communicated well with me. The check in was easy and hassle free. I'll definitely book again. The only thing I would suggest is putting up some thick curtains so that during summer it is not too bright before you sleep and when you wake up in the morning. Other than that our stay at her place was pleasant and she had everything we needed. Thank you, Barbara!

Pros: Centrally located. Safe neighborhood. Manager was super responsive and even let us drop off our bags earlier then check in time. Neighbors/neighborhood were quiet. Cons: no A/C but we didn’t really need it

The unit is updated, clean, has everything you need. Kitchen is equipped with enough spices and oil for quick meal. Grocery store, Walgreen, and several restaurants are within walking distance. Just one little suggestion, please add room darkening curtains to the bedrooms.

Apartment was well decorated in a good location, centrally located and close to lots of tourist options, hiking trails, shopping, and downtown Anchorage. The listing states that it sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms, which is accurate. However, the 2nd bedroom has 1 twin bed, and then a foam mattress that sits on the floor for the 2nd person. This worked out okay for us, as we were traveling with our children. But, this would be annoying if you had a 2nd couple, or a person with medical issues (bad back). AK was atypically hot when we arrived in early June 2022, (75-80 degrees), and the apartment was really hot inside. The windows do not have screens, so when opening them to allow for air flow, bugs got it. The owners were responsive and kind, and did provide some fans for us, upon request. The one thing I would comment on is that AK has sunlight 24/7 in the summer, and this apartment had NO blackout shades on the windows! So, sleeping was very difficult, as we were sweating and it was never dark. We bought sleep masks, which offered a little help. This apartment in nested in a unit with 4 others (5 total), and 2 of those are also rentals. When speaking to those rental visitors, I learned that other apartments had window screens (which could be seen from the outside) and blackout shades in the bedrooms. The remaining 2 apartments had full time tenants, who were often noisy early in the morning. At least, in the apartment directly below this one. And, with the windows open, you can hear every single word, cough, music, and TV sounds. Overall, I rated this place 4/5 stars. They cannot control the weather, and did brings fans upon request. However, blackout shades in the bedroom are a much needed addition for summer renters!

Our stay was nice. There was a train that went by several times in the night which could be a drawback for some.

We were very comfortable at Barbara’s place. Great central location for our housing search. Family friendly neighborhood. The space was clean and well appointed. Book it!
