Poor, I won’t be back

The location, and the room was clean

The walls were very thin. I was disturbed by the TV, people speaking and anyone in the hallway.

Nice hotel small comfortable rooms

Room was small but comfortable

Check in at 5pm seemed a bit late to us as most hotels are 3pm, we were not told that this dog friendly hotel would not allow dogs in the breakfast room so we’re very dissapointed and have requested reimbursement

Quite and clean. Room was warm good shower, lovely staff and great breakfast. Nice town nearby.

Very small room, no coffee/tea making in room and no nearby food outlets.

Our room was very small. We had no tea/coffee making facilities. We had two German Shepherds with us and they could hardly move around the bed. There is supposed to be a restaurant next door but it was shut. There were no other places to get food nearby.

Great and fun hotel to stay !

Very nice place to stay, really ! Quiet, clean, comfortable and stylish, nothing to say. Green Garden on the entry is a real pleasure for eyes ! Wide parking, several restaurants around, and yet more if you drive 5-15min. Breakfast is very good as well.

Extremely disappointing.

looked lovely from the outside, reasonably comfortable bed

Upon arrival we learnt we were the only guests so the restaurant was closed, had we been forewarned we would have cancelled the booking. We always like to have a restaurant serving dinner & breakfast as I have to have regular meals due to diabetes. Obviously having no food or beverages, not even bottled water, was a main concern for my health. On the morning of checkout there was no one about giving us no choice but to leave the key in the room as there was no letterbox in which to leave it. We were charged the full amount even though we had no facilities. With a 17.00 hr check it was too late to do anything about it.

Merci beaucoup!

We only stayed for one night but it was a lovely room, which was pet friendly for our two dogs. The staff were great. I left my kindle in the room. They contacted me the next day and arranged to post it to my home, and they even paid upfront for the postage, which was super kind and trusting of them. I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. Great spot.

Functional but significant communication difficulties

The location was quiet and peaceful. The parking felt safe and the room, while a bit spartan, was clean and functional for a basic head on pillow overnight stay to rest on a long road trip.

It was very difficult to communicate with the lady at the reception desk. She did not speak any English at all and would just speak very fast in French as if that would help a non-French speaker understand. Generally I completely support learning local languages and using them (I speak 4, just not French), but in the hospitality industry I would at least expect reception staff to be able to communicate the basics in English when someone really does not speak their language. In the end we had to use Google Translate just to get the basics done. Even though the facilities were clean and good for my needs to overnight and rest during a very long road trip, I will not return to this accommodation because of the sense I got that even is she did speak English, she was not going to do so out of principle. She made no effort to communicate snd simply rattled off in French and whatever the paying client did not understand was their problem. The language issue was not a problem at any of the other three properties I stayed at during my trip in France.

Rooms too small for dog as well as humans!

The owners were lovely and friendly and we muddled along even though all my French has long since gone. The bed was comfortable

The majority of the rooms were tiny and it was really hard to find sufficient space to put my small dog crate. I did see one room which was bigger but this seemed to be the exception. As a result I was sleeping a lot closer to my dog than I would like -she’s restless in the night and can snore!
