About this cabin rental
Surround yourself with beauty, relaxation and natural fun in Georgia's Blue Ridge and Morganton area. At our cabin, take a swim in Lake Blue Ridge just steps away from this little cabin in the woods with the use of our two (single person) kayaks. This 3 bedroom 1 bath cabin is just steps away from Lake Blue Ridge. With two queen size beds and a twin bunk bed room, it comfortably sleeps 6.

Getting to our cabin, the last 2.4 miles is a gravel road that winds through national forest. It is scenic and adds to the feeling of being secluded. It is maintained and does not require 4 wheel drive however cars with little ground clearance will need to take it a bit slower. Sometimes after hard rains there are some ruts in the road but nothing treacherous. There is a u-shaped, level gravel driveway and space to the right of the cabin for 2-3 vehicles.

Boat Ramp Access: the closest access is to walk out your front door and take a left. Turn right on the first gravel road (Timmy Circle) and head towards the lake. NOTE (access is not a concrete ramp but a gentle slope covered with stones and rock.) The boat access located at the cabin is better suited for smaller boats like john boats etc. There are a number of other options. Boat ramps are available at Morganton Point Recreation Area in Morganton. Other boat ramps are located at Lakewood Landing on Old Highway 76, Morganton, and Lake Blue Ridge Recreation Area, Aska Road. We recommend using Lakewood Landing Boat Launch located on the north side of the Lake or Morganton Point Recreation Area on the east side. Morganton Point is the least distance from our cabin. Most of our guests who bring a boat put in at one of these points and then moar it near the path out the back left of the cabin down at the water.
Walking lake access from the cabin: The cabin is about 70 paces from Lake Blue Ridge. There is a walking path out the back door of the cabin, walk to the left and down a knoll to wooden steps into the lake. The kayaks can be carried down to the lake and then brought back to the cabin for storage.

Clean place with everything you need. A/C and WiFi were perfect. Washer/dryer were a bonus. No complaints. The lake was right down a little trail from backyard. It is alittle steep, but easy enough for us to carry 3 paddle boards down. The lake was amazing! We loved every bit of it. We paddleboarded 5 of our 6 days there and did the Blue Ridge scenic train ride on the rainy day. We enjoyed it. Would definitely stay here again. Owners are quick responders to questions.

Beautiful location right off the lake with a dock only steps from the cabin. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location, not too far from the lake but I could see it be a little tricky for older adults getting down the bank to the dock. Water was clear and warm but the BEST part was the weather, 87° during the day and 68° at night, the humidity was low and we never broke a sweat. Absolutely pet friendly with the lake and plenty of woods. We will definitely be going back to this little gem!

Needed to disconnect from work - this was the perfect place to accomplish that! Hung out at cabin or dock. When wanted a bit more activity, went to Blue Ridge and Ellijay.
Lovely week! Thank you!

This cabin is tucked away in a nice quiet area, with quick access to the lake, and a lovely firepit. Really relaxing and beautiful natural environment.

It was a small but nice cabin. Great outdoor space, comfy beds and little extra touches that’s made our trip easier. Great dock, screened in porch, and kayaks. The owners quickly responded to our questions. Fun place to stay!

Wonderful cabin tucked away in the woods. We loved the lake, so clean! It was a hike down to access so my older mother could not come to enjoy the dock time but kids did fine. It is in a remote location with a winding drive but neighbors around and we felt very safe. The owners were very responsive with our questions. The hot tub was a must every evening! I’m sure summer time at the cabin is great.

We enjoy our stay. We needed a quick little weekend getaway to the mountains wit the family playing games, cooking, and relaxing in the hot tub. Everything was nice!

Perfect mountain cabin for me and my husband! Nicely made and nicely decorated! It was even decorated for the holiday season!!! Hot tub was great and already hot when we arrived! Cabin is off the beaten path, which is what my husband and I were looking for! Short drive to Blue Ridge, McCaysville, and Blairsville.

We had a fabulous time at the cabin. Having lake access was key and the hot tub was a nice touch after a long day of swimming. Would definitely rent again!

The cabin was so cute and had everything we needed. It was immaculately clean and we felt very comfortable here. We spent most of our time on the water, which was a short walk from the cabin, fishing and kayaking. We also enjoyed the fire-pit, hot tub and grills. Owners were quick to respond with any questions. It was a perfect week at On Lake Time cabin.

This was a very relaxing small vacation house, directly adjacent to National Forest, with a private dock in a calm cove. The house is simple but cozy. The two included kayaks were a great addition as well as the fire pit and the hot tub. We were there in late July and the weather and the lake temperature were perfect. Only thing I would note is that there isn’t a ladder on the dock, so you have to get out on of the water via the shore, so pack some water shoes.

Property was more then we could ask for as a small family of 3. Clean and organized the moment you walk in. Property was described perfectly, we will be making another visit! Thank you for the great experience

The property was nice and clean. It's in a quiet area. The kayaks were great fun. We paddled around, fished, and swam.
The walk to the water was a little longer than expected and the bottom is a bit tricky. Pulling the kayaks back up from the water each time was a hassle, but we understood why it had to be done. Also, there are 2 1-person kayaks.
The little restaurant up the road, THE COVE, had the best food. We also ate at the marina, it was good to. We went to Mercier Orchard and the swinging bridge, each about a 30 minute drive.
Overall we had a great time and woukd recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location is great with easy lake access down a very short trail. The cabin had everything we needed for a weekend. We had a great time using the kayaks on the lake, grilling steaks out back and relaxing!

We had a great time at the Lake House. Quiet, clean and overall great mountain experience. Caveat, the listing should state that you need a 4x4 vehicle to get there in snow/ice weather. It was a difficult time reaching the property the first few days due to the weather. Many cars couldn’t make it up the mountain including ours.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! They had great memories to use, were right on the lake with kayaks available, and their outdoor area was so cute and cozy. We really enjoyed our time here.

The cabin was super cute, cozy and clean! Tons of space and great kitchen. Wifi was awesome to have as well! The drive heading to the cabin was absolutely beautiful and easy to access. Hot tub and kayak was an extra bonus. Great stay and will prob try to stay in the same cabin again in the future! :)

My family enjoyed staying at On Lake Time. It was cozy and clean! My daughter who is 5 loved the dock! We fished and hung out around the lake most of our stay! Absolutely beautiful! We will be back in the summer so we can play in the lake!

Such a beautiful, peaceful cabin; very clean, super accurate listing. Communication was prompt and thorough. Back of cabin faces national forest and a short walk to the lake. Very well-stocked kitchen with anything you could need.

Was great for R and R. Clear mountain water for fishing and swimming. Enjoyed some wineries and the downtown Blueridge is great for shopping and good food too. Rented a boat which allowed us to experience the whole lake. Its a little ways back to the house but you get used to it.

Relaxing, stress free getaway
My husband and I brought our 2 dogs here for a weekend and absolutely loved it. It is in such a peaceful location. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. We used Blue Ridge Boat Rentals and got a rental boat delivered to the dock. I would definitely come back if we get the chance!

Perfect location for a short getaway for my wife and I. Short walk to the dock placed in a nice cove. It was perfect spot for SUP hidden from any boat traffic!

Nice, clean, little cabin.
Clean, nice, little cabin close to the lake. The cabin isn't really lake front as we imagined it, but a short walk will put you on the dock. Fun place I'm sure in the summer! Nice back deck with hot tub with nice view of the forest. Neighbors on both sides so not super secluded. I plan on going back!

Very relaxing cabin
We had a great stay and the cabin has everything you need. The hosts were also very responsive. My only complaint would be that there is no dishwasher which isn’t a big deal at all but when you cook all your meals, there is lots of time spent doing dishes.
