This was our second time staying here ... we stayed in the exact same room as last year because it was perfect for our family. But this time we invited several other families who stayed in three other rooms in the lodge. Even with wintry conditions, getting up to the Ski Park and Nordic Center is pretty easy. We enjoyed the short stroll down into town for a coffee treat and yummy burgers/burritos at Yaks. The wood stove in our room really helped take the edge off the cold temps. The Hosts are very communicative and everything was just as we expected and needed in the room. Looking forward to returning again ASAP!

It's only because I always read people's reviews and take note of them that I'm writing this review - we weren't too impressed with this accommodation. The view from the windows was of mounds of dirt and weeds. The view of Mt Shasta was a small gap in the trees if you were in just the right spot. The kitchen was not well equipped. The host had asked for comments and feedback during our stay - so I let them know that the toilet roll (there was less than half a roll when we arrived with no extras) was about gone and the salt shaker they provided (which was great) was empty. Just little things but they never responded to my offer to go and replenish or if they would. The upstairs bed squeaked very loudly with the slightest of movements - enough to actually wake me up if I rolled over during the night - and I'm not a light sleeper. It was just a bit disappointing because it didn't end up being a place to come back home to and relax and the end of the day.

This unit was perfect for my daughter and I for being close to downtown and going out for several amazing hikes. It was just the right size for the two of us and we enjoyed the decor. Our host was very attentive. Thanks for a good stay.

The A frame loft was very cute and a comfortable stay. We were glad we picked up firewood because it made it even more cozy. Very quiet and close to town and also a five minute drive to a perfect unobstructed view of Mt. Shasta.

This place was quite well appointed and clean. Perfect for our ski getaway. Warm and cozy with the fire and the benefit of a full kitchen all at a very affordable price.

The loft was nice and spacious, but the lower part of the building felt a little small and crowded. And the lockbox was VERY difficult. It caused a lot of stress entering the place AND exiting. The code didn't work right away and we had to ask a neighbor to help when we were leaving.
Not sure we'll stay here again.

A peaceful quiet location to stay in Mount. Shasta. I had an issue with the dish sponge smelling like mildew, however the property manager addressed the issue the next day.

This property was just as described and photographed. It was very clean and had ample kitchen supplies for us to cook meals in. It was in a perfect location. We had a change of plans at the last minute and I found this condo. The owner was very responsive. If in the area again, we will stay here. Parking is steps away. The back area is very nice and private.

Sweet & Serene
We enjoyed a very peaceful and pleasant stay at the cabin. It’s location has semi-walkable/bikeable access to not only the shops and dining in the city center, but a few trails as well. The almost panoramic window above the bed was a favored feature every morning and the relaxing hammocks under the trees were an evening highlight. The couch in the living room was pretty snug, but the kitchen had all of the necessary tools for cooking full meals. The property owners were not only gracious and had great communication, but also offered a clear and easy check-in/check-out process which makes all the difference for a weary traveler making the trek to Shasta. I hope I’m lucky enough to return to this beautiful jewel of a city, and if I do, I will happily hang my hat at this quaint and cozy cabin once again. Thank you.

Perfect base camp for Shasta
Thoughtfully renovated units in a perfect location for playing on the mountain. Downstairs living quarters is new, clean and cozy with everything you need and nothing you don’t. Upstairs sleeping loft is actually quite spacious with a comfortable king bed. Good quality heating/cooling units upstairs and down. Perfect base camp for a couple looking to climb and ski Shasta. Would definitely go back!

Angela's place was exactly what I needed for my stay in magical Mount Shasta. I wish I had time to buy firewood because that would have made it even more amazing. Will definitely be staying there again my next trip. All the rooms were super clean, cozy bed, and check in process was easy. Kitchen was equipped with everything I needed! Thank you so much !

Great place
Loved the home and the location! It was a great basecamp for adventures in the communities. The large tv and wood stove was a great way to end the day. I highly recommend this place. KK
