About this house rental
Beautifully renovated home tucked away on a quiet street just off the Porter Rd exit close to the UofA. It's always a good morning when you wake up at the Good Morgen Haus!
LOCATION: Unique location that is both close to the interstate (easily check out the other big towns in NWA) and just 3 miles to the UofA and Downtown!
WELL APPOINTED: Our guests say that we have the most well appointed VRBO they have ever stayed in. Good Morgen Haus has everything you need to feel at home while you are away from home! If you turn on the TV, you will find that it is smart (a little too smart so bring a kid along to help you). If you open the kitchen drawers you will find service for 6 and every kitchen gadget a chef would need (and I would know, I am married to one, yeah yeah lucky me I know)! And we all know women need at least 2 towels per shower per day (hotels can't seem to figure this out, but I got you girl)!
PRIVACY: The quiet street, fenced in patio/backyard, and black out curtains provide the perfect setting to wind down after a long day of travels or a fun night out on the town! Introverts can breathe a sigh of relief that there is not even a VRBO owner on site that you have to make small talk with!
CLEAN: We renovated using antimicrobial finishes...every faucet and handle is antimicrobial + we sanitize them along with everything else a guest might touch. We have the best air filters money can buy and purposefully have very limited porous surfaces. Plus I am a perfectionist, aka housekeeping's worst nightmare.
LUX: We can't afford the plush bedding and sheets that you will sleep on for our own home, enough said? The towels are so fluffy that housekeeping complains they take forever to dry, sorry not sorry. The shower is so lux that your kids might actually shower without a protest for once. The ambiance is bright, casual, calming, and just plain pretty.
HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE NAME GOOD MORGEN HAUS? Glad you asked! It's an inside joke between my husband and I. The joke started the year we were married in 2008 when we backpacked through Europe and stayed in my husband's 3rd cousin twice removed (or something like that) Bed and Breakfast in the most beautiful quaint ski resort town in Austria. When we arrived and convinced them that we were in fact related, the non English speaking couple in their 70's who owned the place kept banging a table in the breakfast area and kept saying good morgen, good morgen, good morgen, over an over again. Having no idea what they were talking about we just nodded our heads and repeated good morgen, good morgen back to them as we awkwardly slunk away to laugh hysterically in our rooms in our bewilderment. The next morning they caught us before we left and lead us back to that famous table where an enormous breakfast awaited us!
Oh, they were trying to tell us to come back to that table in the morning for a free breakfast...Good Morgen indeed! This moment started our dream to become Bed and Breakfast owners by the time we are 70. This 1 little VRBO is just the beginning and we can't wait!

We had a wonderful stay and the house is so nice and quiet. Great neighborhood and very close to the University. I wish it was available during the school year for when we visit our son who is starting there this year.

Property was as described. Quick and very easy access to I-49. Quiet neighborhood. Equipped with everything we could need. Up-to-date and lovely decorating. We were two couples and two babies. Might’ve wished for a little more seating in the living area, but other than that, we loved it.

We came to Fayetteville to move my son for this fall semester. This house worked perfectly for what we needed. The house was clean, cozy and for us, a great location in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Thank yoi!

Wonderful property. Very accommodating home, no detail was left to chance. Quite neighborhood. An excellent place to stay when in Fayetteville. Don’t hesitate to bring your bikes! Great for 2 couples, great for a family.

Wonderful home. Very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Conveniently located to campus and easy to get to restaurants. Would confidently recommend to others!

We were in Fayetteville to visit family and tour the University. This residence is close to the U of A and the bypass. We slept well and everything you need is provided. My younger son especially enjoyed the "old-fashioned" Nintendo plug-in gaming console. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed staying here during our recent visit to Fayetteville. We loved that they had plenty of towels for our whole family to use during our entire stay and also a pack n play for our youngest. One less thing we had to pack. The host was really responsive and made the check in and checkout process really smooth. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This was a very special event for me and my 14 yr old son. It was made only more perfect by this immaculate and comfortable property. Thanks so much!

Minutes from U of Ark and wonderful experience. Home was immaculate and exactly as described and represented in pictures. Beds were comfortable and having 2 baths is a game changer for the 3 of us. Had small issue with internet connection (our issue, not owner) and response that corrected our mistake was immediate! Highly recommend. Our only disappointment was we had to leave after 1 night!

Kristen was in contact with me as soon as I booked the rental. The house had everything you could need from coffee pods to makeup remover. There was extra toilet paper and toiletries available too! I asked about a crockpot and before we arrived she went and bought one for the house. Thanks for everything- it was a great VRBO for our needs!

We stayed for one night for a Razorback ballgame. Everything was great. The place was clean, and the neighborhood was peaceful but still close to UofA. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved our rental for a girls trip. Had everything we needed and was very clean. Would definitely rent again. One thing to note…the pictures show an ice machine which is actually not in the rental. BUT, there is a countertop ice machine that does a pretty good job. Overall, this is a great property to rent.

Just minutes from University of Arkansas this charming, updated, convenient house is nestled in a safe neighborhood. The coffee bar was stocked and kitchen had anything for simple dining in. Bedrooms and bathrooms had lots of clean towels and all was clean and adorably decorated

This property was perfect! Easy entry with no stairs and walk-in showers that were great for older folks. The kitchen had everything we needed. They even had a Christmas tree, what a nice touch! Central location made getting around town very easy. We’ll be back!

A fantastic property, easy to find & convenient to everything. Very clean & fully stocked with everything you’d need. Nice furnishings. Would absolutely stay here again!

The property was excellent. very comfortable. The only concern was the front door lock getting bound up, because the door was not tightly closed. I resolved this on my own. The garage area was excellent for storing bikes or hanging out, if you had company.
Very easy on and off for the highway. Also very close to my friends, who live by the university. I would highly recommend this property

I grew up in Fayetteville, and my dad and I came back for a memorial for a dear friend's father, who also worked with my dad. This was the perfect spot for us. It's beautifully decorated, quiet, and convenient to the campus and everything. We made some special memories!

Not much from the out side but the inside more than made up for it, there was no need or want left. They thought of everything and even more our teenager who is extremely hard to please stated that it was the best place we had ever stayed and that we had to stay there every time we came back to town, that’s a better review than I could ever give

I absolutely loved this home. It was even cuter in person and it made me want to go home and redecorate. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable and allowed me to sleep peacefully through the night, truly more comfortable than my own bed at home. I'm coming back to Fayettville in May and I tried to book this home again, but to my dismay it was already taken. This place was worth coming back to again and again. If you book this location you will not regret it.

It was a very lovely property. There was plenty of room for family to gather (9 people) for an engagement celebration. A lot of counter space for a buffet of food as well as paper plates etc. Some family enjoyed playing ping pong in the garage even with the heat. (Maybe put a fan out there) I requested a later check out from the owner (only one hour) but never heard from her. That communication could have been better. Overall, I would highly recommend the space. Very quiet neighborhood and it's on a cul-de-sac.

What a great place. Two bedrooms and two baths make life easy here. The bright and minimalistic furnishings with the perfect amenities make for a great stay in a home away from home. Garage has been converted for great activities. Close to the UofA and all the things we needed to attend. Book it!!!
