About this house rental
Newly renovated property! Entire home has been renovated for your stay. Peaceful, quiet home located just steps from the Neuse River. Fishing pier, and kayak launch. Recreation center steps away as well. Indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, game room. Rec center covers use for one family! Everything is here to enjoy your vacation. Downtown New Bern 15 minute drive and the beautiful North Carolina beaches are within 35 minutes. More pictures coming soon of our new ping pong table that will be set up in the game room!

Great location for us, quite and very nice. The house was clean and comfortable. The host’s communication was great. Checking in and out was very easy. Very well done !

Beautiful home with comfy beds. Loved playin ping pong each day and listening to records. My favorite was Carole King. Just a short walk to the pools. Enjoyed pizza in the evening at the outdoor pool then headed into the hot tub. So nice and quiet. Had a great time. Only thing missing is a restaurant close by.

Had a great time and enjoyed several games of ping pong. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive throughout the whole process. Area was nice and quiet. Loved the community amenities.

We always look for the extras when booking a VRBO and this one was just right for my teens. Ping pong was a huge hit, and so was the bike availability. Not to mention the close access to tennis courts, pickle ball courts, and basketball courts. The open kitchen was great for family conversations over pizza. A grill was even available. This was a nice retreat for my family to gather our thoughts and be together.

We enjoyed our stay. Owners were very accommodating and they were great communicators. It was as described and very clean. Ping pong table and music was fun!

We were visiting from Florida to participate in the 2023 MS Historic New Bern Century Ride. We rode in 2022 (our first) and stayed here then. David and Terri are great hosts, very communicative and accommodating. The home was in great shape and well-appointed. It handled the 5 adults who stayed over the weekend comfortably. While it's a little bit of a drive to New Bern, we chose this location because it is near the water and quiet. We only wish the mosquitos didn't like us as much as they did. We'll be back next year!!

Great for family vacation together. Love the location, views and outdoors! House had plenty of room and ping pong was a hit! Owner was quick to reply to any requests. Would stay again.

The house was clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and had everything we needed for our stay. Check in was very easy with excellent communication from the host. The hosts we very friendly and responded very quickly to an issue with the AC, getting it fixed within a couple of hours. The ping pong table was a nice bonus and got a lot of use during our time there. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Our overflow family stayed there and had nothing but positive comments. We didn't get to enjoy it enough. 3 bedrooms make it very desirable. The hosts were gracious and accommodating.

We absolutely loved our stay at David and Terri’s house for our trip to New Bern. We were a family of 4, including 2 kids visiting for my birthday. The house was clean and had so many fun touches. The game room not only had a ping pong table, but also board games, along with a record player and a CD player! We also loved the short walk to the pools (both indoor and outdoor). The hosts were gracious and helpful with any of my questions. I highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed three bedroom house. Fairfield Harbour is very pleasant and our kids had fun in the pool. Getting out on the water with our kayak and SUP boards was easy. We appreciated our hosts for their good communication and restaurant recommendations in New Bern. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Fairfield Harbour. The house was clean and spacious. We loved the area and hiked as well as kayaked in Broad Creek. Our hosts were accommodating and had good communication.

We had a few things that occurred on the trip and the hosts made sure to get everything fixed almost immediately. There were items and amenities supplied that we did not even know about. The hosts were very sweet and constantly welcoming. Definitely would reserve again

We had a great stay in Fairfield Harbor. The house was perfect we had a great time playing ping pong. The communication with host was excellent they got back to me right away. We will definitely stay here again.

Response from owners was probably the quickest I've experienced. Just a little hiccup & they got to it promptly. The location is perfect. A minute walk to all there is to do in the harbour. I would certainly book with them again!

Cannot thank David and Terri enough for the use of their property! My fiance and I rented the house so we could get married in the lovely town of New Bern. Communication with the owners was a breeze. The place was well deoarated and had everything we needed on hand. I loved the set of woods at the back of the property! Will definitely stay there again!!

Everything worked out perfectly for our stay in new Bern. From finding the property to booking it to arriving and finding it easy to access and clean, our experience with our host was above expectations. We will return next year and look forward to renting the same location.

Quiet neighborhood, great for sleeping in. Beds comfortable too. Good selections of books and board games to choose from. Some additions to the house would be Kleenex boxes to bathrooms in lieu of using t-paper, a cutting board that is dishwasher safe and update/refill spices.

We were very please with the ease of check-in and the cleanliness of the rental space. We enjoy the little extras like bikes to ride, coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each shower space, ping pong table and games in rec room. While we did not find the time to use, there is access to a beautiful pool area a short walk from the house. Closeness to New Bern, wonderful restaurants, and shopping was wonderful too.

Great family vacation. Clean comfy and just like home . Kitchen had everything we needed. Even the soap in the bathrooms with very nice lines and towels. Will stay again in the future .

Weekend with the granddaughters
Excellent stay! Great host! The location was perfect having other family members who live in the area within walking distance. Use of club house pools, hot tub and playground was such a bonus. Had to contact host for an issue which they were super fast to get it taken care of. Thank you Terri and David for such a wonderful weekend. Will keep at the top of my favorites list!!!!

We stayed for our renewal of our vows, it was perfect for the gathering after of our rehearsal.
