Spacious home with beautiful waterfront views. Short walking distance to Footbridge and downtown area. Town was beautifully decorated for the holiday and enjoyed seeing Gardens Aglow at the Botanical Gardens. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and space for our family of eight.

We loved this home! It was perfect for our needs as a family and everything was in walking distance, which was wonderful. We were able to watch the boat parade and fireworks from the windows and get the kids straight to bed after! I did not realize the king bed was in the basement and the code did not seem to work to access this, but perhaps we will check that out next time. Heat in the attic was tricky at first, but the heater fan in the bathroom helped a lot, as did the extra blankets in the closet. A couple years ago we stayed in a home across the street, but we loved this space much more and look forward to hopefully staying there for years to come!

There were a few glitches, but were all resolved. The hot water in was not always hot but at least more than luke warm. The guests enjoyed the cleanliness, the view, the cozy feeling on the not very nice weather days.
Thank you for this rental.

This house is right on the water and just a block from the walking bridge to the other side of town. This trip was not about us cooking at all which was good because the kitchen and most of the things you need to cook were pretty dirty. Again, we didn’t cook so it didn’t bother us. The beds in this VRBO are probably some of the worst I have ever encountered. Granted, we aren’t as young as we used to be and beds do matter to us. Some were lumpy, slanted up or down, hard or so loose every time you turned over you thought the bed might fall apart. Other than that the sunsets were amazing and the location perfect. If you can sleep on anything and don’t need to cook I would highly recommend this house.

Nice stay, could be more organized
House is located conveniently. We rented the entire house but wasn't given the code to the basement area. The door from the kitchen to the basement unit was locked on both sides which makes it very inconvenient for a family staying together as you have to go outside to get to each section of the house. I called Vacasa as we needed a code for the basement unit and they had to contact the "local person" to call me back. Kevin called me within the hour and was very nice and helpful. He showed us how to get the units unlocked so we could connect inside the house by walking through the basement. The laundry is also downstairs so not sure how people who rent the upstairs would ever do their laundry without access? The password sent to us via the Vacasa app was wrong and we had to call Kevin again. He gave us the correct password. Lastly, we were told we could park on either side of the house(by the Vacasa person, not Kevin) but a neighbor came over to chastise us for parking in the wrong place. Too much confusion that can be addressed by more organization and planning on Vacasa's part. Not the smoothest rental. 4 stars are because Kevin was quite responsive and explained that they just took over this property by another management team so things are still being worked out. We left a couple of things behind in our rush to leave by 10a checkout, and they want $25 to ship a small portable battery for charging a phone. :-( Oh, the basement is a bit musty if you need to sleep in that bedroom so consider that if you need more than 4 bedrooms.

Family reunion
My family and I stayed at the lovely home 43 Atlantic Avenue in Boothbay Harbor. With 14 of us I wasn’t sure about the comfort level but this exceeded my dreams. Such a wonderful experience was had by everyone. One we will always remember. Thank you VRBO and Turnkey!!!

This was a great property and location for our group of 10 friends. It was across the harbor from the main downtown area, but an easy walk across a footbridge. Views were awesome from the dock or various decks on the house. Lots of things to do in the area: botanical gardens, boat trips, art galleries, shops, restaurants, etc. We had an awesome time!

Beautiful
Me, my friends and their significant others all stayed here for a few nights for a wedding. The house and little cottages are perfect. We jumped off the dock each morning right into the harbor. Short and really nice walk over the footbridge to downtown BBH. Everyone had a great time.

Family Weekend Getaway
We stayed for a long weekend for a wedding Spruce Point Inn Resort - great proximity to resort for anyone in town for the same reason. The house was VERY clean, not even dust under the beds. Very roomy, right on the water, views from the balcony were beautiful, the dock was very nice and in great condition. The house was a typical home you think of for coastal Maine. We walked over the footbridge to the town many times, the bridge is very close to the home. The village has many restaurant options and cute shops. We would absolutely come back and stay again.

Reviewer Comments:
The house is located in a beautiful area and having a private dock is really charming. The property though looks much newer and renovated in the picture than in the reality. Full beds are quite small for two adults but overall spaces are fine. We had an issue with the cleaning of the house and we informed the property manager. In general we had a nice stay.
