At Gerrie’s Place 2 you will experience the Rural Life in an Urban Area.
Located on a Llama Ranch!

At Gerrie’s Place2 you have a private entrance, a private fenced yard, and a private cottage. We welcome everyone. (but please remember, Gerrie's Place 2 is not set up for parties or social gatherings - only registered guests are allowed in this quiet cottage!).

We also welcome your well behaved, house trained dogs. (Dogs must be crated if unattended ... no cats).

We are a wonderful location for dining, sports events, tourist attractions, shopping malls, Metro and more. Suburb of Houston Texas.

When you are at Gerrie's Place2, we welcome you to take a tour of the ranch and meet the animals up close. You can see them from your LARGE covered front porch and your windows. In fact, a llama, a sheep, a tortoise, and a pot bellied pig live in your back yard. To experience more, a tour is available and must be scheduled ahead of time. If you are staying for more than 1 night at Gerrie's Place 2, your tour is discounted. All tours must be scheduled in advance. You do not casually walk around on your own.

There is a gift shop on site with Handmade Llama Fiber Rugs, (like what you will use in Gerrie's Place 2), Felted Llama Soap (like what you will use in Gerrie's Place 2), and more llama/alpaca related items. (nothing is killed in the making of these beautiful items).

Gerrie's Place 2 is a wonderful location for all your eating and entertainment needs. On this rode alone (Mueschke Rd.), we have quite a few restaurants and bars.
Gerrie's Place 2 is close to the Houston Premium Outlets. There are other shopping locations .... Memorial City Mall, Willowbrook Mall, The Galleria, Old Town Spring.
Entertainment includes: Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Dave & Buster's, Topgolf, Wet'n'Wild, SplashTown, Space Center Houston, Houston Zoo, Texas Renaissance Festival, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Children's Museum of Houston, Houston Museum District, Downtown Aquarium, Houston, Kemah Boardwalk, Galveston Texas, San Jacinto Monument, San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site, & Battleship of Texas and much more. Robin’s cottage was absolutely perfect for our short stay for a weekend trip to Houston. It was a delight to wake up in the morning and feed Wally the goat and say hi to a variety of adorable animals. The cottage itself was pristine, very clean, and very comfortable. The fact that there were dog bowls and a bed already present in the house was a great touch for our little fur baby. Robin’s communication both before and during the stay was great- including a personalized message on the dry erase board upon our arrival. When we need to come back to the area in the future, we will definitely stay here again. One of my best VRBO experiences to date. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a really cute stay would definitely recommend. The host gave us a tour and the weather was nice. We enjoyed waking up to animals and will hopefully revisit in the future.

This place is amazing and I highly recommend Gerries 2. This has an open floor plan with plenty of room. The front deck is very large and you can watch and feed the animals from it. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could and will frequent this place regularly. Robin is a fabulous hostess and everyone is so nice. Don’t forget about the tours they have. Can’t say enough good things about it. Definitely book this!

Gerrie's Place 2 is an adorable cottage with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom which overlooks a large, fenced-in yard. In the yard are lots of rescued animals, which you can feed with small treats. There's nothing like waking up to an emu taking a bath in a puddle and then giving a goat a treat! The cottage is cozy, perfect for one or two people, and Robin the host is very accommodating. I've stayed here twice now, when in town for work. Wanting a home away from home that comes with some animal friends is a truly charming way to spend your stay while in the Cypress area!

My stay was easy & comfortable! Robin was helpful at check-in & available if needed through the stay. Gerrie’s Place 2 was a nice weekend getaway & the benefit of the animal visits was nice too, each morning. All comforts were thought of for my stay! Couldn’t have asked for more!

Wonderful stay!! Spotlessly clean. Pets welcome. Beautiful accommodations. Can’t speak highly enough of the warm welcome received from the owner. So much fun to be greeted each morning by a llama, goat, pig and emu waiting for morning treats!

Robin, Ruby and Sean all are so kind and more than happy to do anything for their guests. The rescue animals are such characters and we're already missing Tater and Moody! We plan to come back for sure! Thank y'all for your wonderful Texas hospitality!

A true rural cabin, with all the charm you could want!

This beautiful little cabin is a true gem in the countryside of Northwest Houston. Robin is a thoughtful host, leaving fresh-laid eggs in the full-sized fridge, meeting me at check-in so I could find the right gate, and making sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable while staying here for work. Probably the best part of this cabin is waking up to sheep, llamas, pigs, goats, and emus wandering the yard (and maybe looking for host-supplied treats). The morning I stayed there, it was chilly, and the emu and goat were doing zoomies throughout the yard! It was such a fun way to wake up. The cabin also has a metal roof, and I got to experience a rainy winter night that was so incredibly cozy. The electric fireplace kept me warm and the full kitchen and full bath made me feel like I was at home. I wished I could have stayed longer, and spent some time on the porch, watching the rescue animals graze. This really is such a gem of a place. I can't recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Gerrie's Place 2. The pictures really don't do the place justice - it is very thoughtfully appointed, modern, super clean and not the least bit 'funky'. Fully stocked kitchen, great heat (and probably AC - tho we didn't need that) and the bed, towels, really everything was very nice. So fun to visit with the animals and Host Robin is one of the most friendly, helpful and genuinely nice people you'll ever meet. We loved our stay, and would absolutely stay here again if we're back anywhere near this area. Book it - you'll be glad you did! And ask to visit the gift shop - beautiful rugs, scarves, and much more.

We loved everything about this location; the host was exceedingly kind and attentive, the cottage was perfectly appointed and host added so many helpful and thoughtful touches, the property is absolutely gorgeous and we loved having the animals around. Amazing place

Amazing place

It was so relaxing and peaceful. The animals were very friendly yet non intrusive. I love that we could bring our dogs. They are big, loud, and intimidating but the property owner understood and did not mind at all. It was a wonderful place for our relaxing getaway honeymoon. The fact that it is a non-profit that spends all the proceeds on the animals and their care is just incredible. We will be back for sure!

This property was amazing. They literally thought of everything! It was so homey, welcoming, and warm. I especially loved feeding the animals in the moring on the porch and eating the fresh eggs for breakfast. Robin and staff were outstanding! They communicated on every aspect, they were all so friendly. It felt like visiting family. This is the best stay anywhere, I have ever had. I'll never forget it. GO! Stay longer than a day so you can take it all in. Tell Robin we say hi and thank you!

Just passing through

We arrived after dark. Robin communicated with us and gave us all the details we needed to get to our location easily. It was so very nice inside. I was afraid it might have been hot inside but it was perfect. She has thought of everything! If you love animals like I do, you will enjoy staying here she has so many rescue animals. They can come right up to the porch and be fed. The llamas are so cute! The accommodations were just right for the two of us. Very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again
