Lakefront! EV charger! Gigabit fiber Internet! Game room!
Welcome to our one-level lake front, site-built home on Weiss Lake in Little Nose Slough directly on seasonal water. Our large 1+ acre lot features private boat ramp, dock, and beautiful, mostly level yard with very gentle slope to the water. We're located on a dead-end road just 5 minutes to town. Our home is super-convenient with great neighbors and is very peaceful. We are also just 4 minutes to the nearest public boat ramp!
We have recently added a game room! There's Mortal Kombat multi-cade with 12 classic games, a Pacman console with 12 glassic games, a digital Mars Attack pinball with 10 classic games that is really fun to play, along with the PS3 for indoor entertainment! In this room is also a sleeper chair that can seat up to two people that pulls out to a twin bed.
**Max of 7 people. NO PETS / animals, due to owners' health concerns / serious allergies that could lead to our child's hospitalization. Positive government issued ID must be provided to host for EACH adult in your group prior to checking in. No parties / events. No children under the age of 3 without consent (message us to discuss), as our home is not baby proof / toddler proof. No smoking.** Note we have outdoor cameras but respect your privacy and none are indoors.**
At the water's edge you'll find a large dock and private boat ramp with an average depth of 3' of water around our dock during full pool (levels drop in the off season with very shallow but visible water from our dock, so please inquire). Our boat ramp is suitable for most average bass boats and shallow draft boats or small pontoons, but some longer boats may need to be angled in for unloading (we unload a 19' aluminum deck boat with no problem, but we do have to angle our trailer in to avoid the dock at the back, but it is pretty easy). We have a sea wall, boat ramp, dock, and even a fish cleaning station with running water.
Our home is a one level site-built home with central heating and air conditioning, along with wall natural gas heaters for backup heat just in case (but we also have an automatic whole house generator for in the event the power goes out during your stay). There are very few steps in our home, with approximately 1800 sq ft of finished, heated living space and a large carport outside.
The home features a full kitchen with stainless appliances, fridge with filtered water and ice maker, microwave, Ninja Blender, a Keurig style coffee maker with coffee provided, dish washer, and plenty of counter space and cabinets. While we don't have a large dining area, we do have a very small bistro style table in the kitchen suitable for 2-3 plus a bar seating area suitable for another 2 guests. The kitchen is open directly to the living room, so you never feel disconnected.
The cozy living room features exposed beams and cathedral ceilings with a large flat screen Roku smart TV and large sectional leather sofa with recliners on the ends (and there are two together on one end so you can sit with your honey). We provide fast and free Gigabit fiber wifi Internet access strong enough to stream multiple TVs with no problem, along with access to our complimentary Youtube TV subscription (around 80 channels of local network and cable TV content) . . . or log in to your own Netflix or other accounts. The living room also includes a desk / work area suitable for your laptop if you need to get a few things done while everyone else hits the lake.
There's also a cased opening leading to a very large sun room on the back with a wall of windows. This is a great area for sitting and relaxing with a view of the lake and back yard, best enjoyed during cooler months or having coffee in the mornings . . . but we might also suggest the dock or gazebo.
The master bedroom is huge with a comfy king bed with new Zinus 12" Euro Top Pocket Spring hybrid mattress from Amazon (which by itself is on the firm side, but we have added a nice memory foam topper for extra comfort and flexibility, which can be removed if you prefer your mattress firm), and your own private en suite full bath with tub / shower combo. Also in the master bedroom is a pull out twin bed for an additional guest should you need it. There are also a couple of nice sitting chairs.
The guest bedroom is split from the master opposite the living room and features a typical queen bed with direct access to the sun room, just off a sliding glass door and is near the full guest bath with tub / shower combo.
The sun room has two "extra" twin beds in a trundle configuration and could double as a spare bedroom. There is a cased opening with a curtain that can be closed for privacy. There is a wall gas heater in that room and a window AC unit, each to supplement the 2 hvac ducts out there when temps are beyond mild. There's also a ceiling fan in this room.
The 3rd bedroom is set up currently as a den / game room with half bath and separate laundry area, but it can still work as an optional private bedroom if you desire. The door leading to the kitchen can be closed for added privacy at night. However, it only has a sleeper chair that can hold up to two people for sitting. The chair folds out flat to a twin bed, or you can bring along an air mattress if you desire. Guests might opt to use the sun room as a bedroom instead of this room. This room does have a separate entry at the carport and a passage door that can be closed to the kitchen area, if used as a bedroom. The room includes a flat panel smart Roku TV, a Pacman multi-cade arcade, Mortal Kombat multi-cade system also with 12 games, a Mars Attacks digital pinball with 10 games, as well as an older game console with some games.
The home has been recently updated with new paint, LVP floor covering throughout, and other things like mostly new furniture throughout. This includes new king bed and mattress, leather sectional sofa, new sitting chairs and custom painted / restored furniture in the master, and more.
Outside you will also find in the expansive and mostly level back yard a gazebo with glider rocker, a fire pit area with 6 adirondack chairs (can be moved about to screen porch, etc.), a screen porch on back overlooking the lake off the master bedroom, and a nice long / wide covered front porch for lazy days with seating for 4 people (can be moved about). This is where you will find two sun loungers that can be relocated to the back yard, etc.
EVSE / EV charger is a 240 volt up to 40 AMP J1772 (combo type plug) available at our carport for your convenience. We have a Grizzle-E classic. Tesla vehicles will need the appropriate adapter. Not suitable for Chademo. Our AC outlet is locked and not able to be unplugged, so please use our charger.
** Due to risk of injury, fire, or damage to a neighboring property, we do NOT allow fireworks or the discharge of firearms on our property! If booking during a holiday season please keep this in mind before booking! ** Please be sure to remove the grill during use from under the carport and away from the home to avoid melting the vinyl siding / overhead finishes.
NOTE: "Seasonal water" at Weiss Lake means it is a flood controlled dam / lake, and they drop the lake levels by 3' from full pool, typically starting reduction between the middle of September and until early Spring. You can find historical water levels and current lake levels available online. During this time we have at most 10" of water at our dock, which is still good for views but is not boatable during this time of fall / winter, but we are only 5 mins from a public ramp.
Lastly, the home is NOT handicap accessible. If you have questions please ask. Feel free to message us to ask any questions prior to booking. We have tried to accurately describe our home and property. We will do all we can to help make your stay enjoyable. Thanks for considering us!

We enjoyed our stay at this house for our annual lake weekend. The place was clean and had a fun game room and sunroom for the kids.
The pier sits in about 3 feet of water which was great for fishing , but not for kids to swim off the dock.
We will probably be back next year as the property management was helpful to our needs.
