About this house rental
Please join us for the perfect family vacation including instagram worthy beaches, dolphin sightings, stingray encounters, snorkling, lobster diving, swimming pigs, and just relaxing days in the sun.
Welcome to our oceanfront home that sits elevated with unobstructed and panaramic views of windward beach and the sea of abaco with dolphin veiwing and all the marine life you could ever want. Our home comes with a private cocktail pool over looking the ocean, 2 kayaks and one paddle board for exploring the canal, water views from every room, two large covered porches for relaxing/taking in all the beauty of the sea, a forty foot dock for fishing/boating, and 3 bikes to be used for exploring the family-friendly safe community of Treasure Cay. We purchased the home post dorian and remodeled/updated with new additions including a master suite and kitchen, A/C systems, flooring, ceilings, walls, and all new furnishings . The house has an open concept for entertaining with picturesque views of the turquouise blue waters. It has 4 bedrooms ( 2 large upstairs rooms with a shared bathroom), one queen bedroom downstairs with shared full bathroom, and a master suite with a private bathroom and separate entrance to covered porch. The master bath includes a large soaker tub, tiled walk-in shower, and double vanities. Two large bedrooms upstairs- one with 2 double beds and a nook/window seat (twin xl) over looking the ocean and the second bedroom has quad bunk beds for the kids with pullout/trundle type bed that can convert from 4 twins to 2 king beds if needed as well as a nook/window seat (twin xl) over looking the ocean. We have flat screen TVs throughout the home, WIFI, well stocked kitchen including a Keurig, outdoor grill, beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, and washer/dryer for personal use. Ample natural lighting provided by 5 french doors spanning across the lower level granting access to the ocean side covered porch.
Golf cart rentals rentals are recommended to explore all the beaches and sites of the area.
The home is located in the amazingly friendly quiet community of Treasure Cay, Bahamas which is less than 200 miles from Florida's coast. This genuine Carribean slow paced community is what drew us to the area. As a mom of five, I truly value the safe, family friendly community where I feel comfortable letting my children run freely through the beaches, snorkle in front of the house, or drive golf carts to the store. It is famous for its 3.5 miles of breathtaking white powdery beaches with turquoise waters, 18 hole championship golf course, great fishing, diving, and snorkling. Treasure Cay Beaches are rated some of the most beautiful in world. It is served by 2 airports-- Marsh Harbor(MHH)--35 minute taxi ride and Treasure Cay(TCB-for private or small charter flights from the states). We have truly loved every minute of family time--all the memories we've made and will continue to make in the future.

Overall a stunning property that is well appointed with all that you need to be comfortable. Misty, the host was exceptional with answering any questions prior to arrival. We have had many people inquire where we stayed and they will be getting some referrals.
Can't wait to come back.

After hopping around nearby islands, Treasure Cay was the most beautiful and well kept island. This home was in the perfect location with a spectacular view. All of the pictures are extremely accurate of what you will see. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and the host was always responsive with any questions. We will definitely book this home again l!

We were a family of 6 adults and 3 kids. Shore Beats Work was the perfect house for us, although we spent more time outside than inside. The view from the covered back porch was stunning, as was the house. Misty and Christian were the best hosts anyone could hope for. They answered all of our questions (and we had alot), loaned us fishing poles, guided us on places to visit, and were always just a message away. They were always gracious and made us feel like family. I would absolutely stay there again.

Home was advertised exactly as listed. We had a great stay, and Misty was always available if needed. We had Brenda come cook 2 nights for us which was fabulous! The Bootles got us from the airport and they were lovely as well. Would definitely go back!

Shore Beats Work was a fantastic experience for our group of 8 (four couples). We kept our rented boat at the dock and visited numerous cays throughout the week. Mornings and evenings were of course spent in the house… which had everything we needed and then some. Loved the kayaks. Loved the nice touches like beach chairs and extra sunscreen. Especially loved late nights on the back deck with the warm sea breeze, cold drinks, and the soothing sounds of the waves and our laughter. Misty was in great communication throughout our stay, so we never had any issues or unanswered questions. Would highly recommend Shore Beats Work to all. Great experience!

A very comfortable and well equiped house in a beautiful setting. The host ia amazing, responds immediately and very helpful. There are only a couple nearby restaurants you can easily drive to. There are two bedrroms downstairs and the master bedroom is awesome looking out on the water. The second downstairs bed is very high and difficult for anyone a little infirm and the stairs are very steep, so could be a problem. But for young and able bodied group it is awesome accommodation. You can live on the porch looking at the water!

We loved every second at Shore Beats Work! The pictures don’t do the home and views justice! We literally giggled walking in for the first time because the view from the entire back of the porch is so stunning!
The home’s gorgeous and offers many places to be together or to steal a few moments to yourself. The furniture and seating options inside and out are comfortable and abundant. We appreciated the little touches throughout the house like throw blankets for a breezy evening on the porch, cups with lids to easily take on the golf cart (you should rent one for your stay), all the cooking items and extra spices, extra garbage bags and household items, swim and pool toys to name a few.
The dock accommodates a boat and the stairs down the sea wall into the ocean make getting in and out of the water accessible. You’ll see gorgeous sunrises from anywhere in the back- I loved laying in bed and watching it start to peak above the clouds enticing me to get up and outside.
We saw dolphins, sea turtles, sting rays, starfish and crabs right from the property! The little lizards running around the beach area are little guys that don’t bother anything.
We rent a lot with VRBO, and Misty is an above-and-beyond host! We had to shorten our because we were rerouted in-air flying into Marsh Harbor due to storms and got stuck in Charlotte for days. Misty tried her best to help and provided us with as much monetary relief as she could.
We will absolutely come back! Thank you, Misty!

5 Star Experience! The hosts were so helpful and generous with suggestions and easy to communicate with. House is clean and beautiful with plenty of room to spread out for our party of 8. The porch view is sublime and fun for boat watching. Nothing is “too busy” in Treasure for the time of year we went. (Except book your boat and cart rentals in advance). We did 1 night at Bahama Beach Club and made reservations as another reviewer mentioned but none were needed the 2 times we ate there for lunch. We ate at Sunset Pizza 3 times because it was great and a hit with the kids. We boated the rest of the time and enjoyed Green Turtle Club, No Name (Big O’s), Nippers on Iguana, and Hope Town and Abaco Inn on Elbow. Sampled many spots and the water and beaches are amazing. We did take the squid to feed the turtles and stingrays and I thought that was really special. (Interactions that would cost $$$ for at resorts or on cruises is free for the adventurous!) Be gentle and still and these encounters can be thrilling. Brenda cooked for us one evening and did an excellent job. She is a little spicy, so if that isn’t your palette, tell her in advance (we had the grouper). The Bootles are just lovely. Very relaxing with little adventures sprinkled in. Thanks for sharing your home!

No better views in all of Treasure Cay! There are no words to describe how beautiful this house is! Our group of 11 came from Michigan, Kentucky and Florida and most had never left the USA! It was an experience to get there but totally worth the effort! The house had everything…lots of towels, pots and pans and cooking utensils, chairs for the beach, outdoor games and kayaks! Plenty to do for all ages! We rented golf carts the first few days and explored Sand Dollar beach (yes!!! We found sand dollars!) and found “downtown” which had a little convenience store and restaurant. Everyone was so excited to see all the sea life right from the dock, incredible! We even kayaked with the dolphins right in front of the house! We then rented a van to pack us in and head to the ferry dock to visit Green Turtle Cay (highly recommend to rent golf carts) and had so much fun exploring! Captain Mark picked us up from our dock and we spent the day visiting the pigs, swimming with sea turtles, sting rays and sharks and snorkeling the stunning reefs and a ship wreck! We also rented a boat for a day ourselves (my husband is a captain) and explored on our own…the color of the water will be in my dreams forever! Our host, Misty was great in answering any questions and for any advice! Thank you Misty for the honor of staying at your home. Our family made memories to last a lifetime! Our prayers are with Treasure Cay as they rebuild 🙏

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The house is absolutely gorgeous with an incredible view of the Sea of Abaco. All the furniture and bedding was comfy and of high quality, and the kitchen was amazing and great to cook in. There were tons of places to relax including lots of seating on the back deck and a zen area on the front porch which I used for reading and doing yoga. The location was perfect for taking the boat out each day as it’s the first house inside the alley so we just dropped off plane and were right at the dock. We were able to access TC beach, the BBC, Sunset Pizza, the Marina, and stores/cafe with our golf cart and bikes. Misty was an incredible host and very accessible all week. She also shared all kinds of helpful information ahead of time so that when we arrived in Marsh our transportation was waiting for us, the cart was at the house, and we had dinner delivery set up for the first night. Definitely connect with her ahead of time on those recommendations! Last, the house was well equipped with beach chairs, coolers, water gear (paddle board, kayak), games (volleyball and cornhole, board games), even sunscreen and bug spray! Cannot recommend staying here enough!

We had the most amazing time!! Misty was such an amazing host, going above and beyond with her communication and ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay! The photos of this place don’t even begin to capture the beauty inside and out. Nearby attractions highly accessible by boat, but plenty of fun to be had without leaving the house. Would absolutely book again!

Incredible Trip.
The house is clean and spacious. The owner was very communicative and easy to work with. Room for everyone and so comfortable. (Note: top bunks in bunk room are not full size)
This is a boaters paradise. this is the ultimate location to get to the surrounding cays and all they have to offer. (TREASURE CAY BOAT RENTAL) Beautiful view from the huge porch of this home and a 2-second kayak across to the beach. Safe.
Our favorites: Great Guana Cay: gorgeous beach, good snorkeling, Nippers restaurant on the beach was our favorite meal. Green Turtle Cay was a fun place to watch the Junkanoo parade and Cocoa Bay on the NW side is a must do for the rays & turtles (bring squid). No Name Cay for the pigs, of course. Big O’s in no name had great burgers and we snorkeled in the cove next to pig beach and saw many a starfish. Definitely choose your destinations based on the daily wind direction.
On Treasure, we enjoyed Brenda’s spicy catering, and pizza & Italian nights at Bahama Beach Club were big hits (make reservations).
BRING CASH and RENT A GOLF CART (Cash’s Carts were awesome, and they’re currently is no ATM on treasure). The only ‘fail’ we had was at cafe La Florence. The beach at the dead end of Windward rd on Treasure is gorgeous, worth a visit. The Bootles - the family this house uses for airport transportation etc are WONDERFUL people. As is the woman who runs Creative Hands food truck - order her cinnamon rolls ahead, melt in your mouth. We’ll be back!!

My husband and I and our 3 boys (7, 10 & 12) stayed at ‘Shore Beats Work’ this past week. It was truly amazing. The house had plenty of space and everything we needed was right there. The online listing and all of the reviews are very accurate. Misty was wonderful to communicate with and she responded with any questions we had right away.
It was so nice having activities for the kids, games, puzzles right there. The weather was not the best, so we were very thankful to have some things to do inside or on the porch.
Make sure you take a big grocery run make a big grocery run in Marsh Harbor before arriving. We did not use the grocery delivery service because we were able to find the essentials at the grocery store in Treasure Cay. I would also recommend bringing plenty of cash because there is not an ATM or bank in Treasure. There are quite a few places in Treasure Cay that only take cash. Also, take into consideration pulling out enough cash for a cab drivers, boat captains (if you rented a boat).
We rented our boat through Wilson and used Mark as a captain. He was amazing & I would definitely recommend using him. If you aren’t familiar with the island and the waters, I would suggest hiring someone to help you navigate. He took us to see the swimming pigs, the sharks and the sea turtles. We also enjoyed lunch one day at Green Turtle Cay and it was delicious!
Sunset pizza is a new restaurant that opened up and we ended up eating there twice.
We hope to go back soon!

This was our annual family vacation with our adult children and their families, and we were not disappointed. The house was exactly as pictured, very clean and comfortable. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and two bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs which suited us perfectly. The kitchen was very well equipped and stocked with all kinds of spices, likely thanks to other guests. We've rented some houses
that don't even have salt and pepper...this one had everything. My husband and our daughter are fabulous chefs and they gave it two thumbs up for well stocked!!
The location is on point and view is amazing. The covered porch on the back of the house has plenty of lounging furniture as well as ample places to eat. We ate outdoors almost every meal. The outdoor toys were clutch. Whoever thought of the hanging chairs is a genius...we all loved them! The kayaks and stand up paddle board were awesome. Plenty of outdoor activities for our crew. The front porch was equally as comfortable. Thanks for bringing back my old church camp memories with the ring game...probably would never have taught my granddaughters that without this house. The house is also well stocked with board games the girls dominated at Sequence!
We had a magical week and thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place!!

We booked this home to celebrate a friend getting married and had 7 girls total. The home was so perfect, spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We took advantage of the kayaks and got to do so along side a pod of dolphins. We hired their private check who was recommended from the hosts, along with treasure cay boat rental and Jackie for transportation - everyone was an absolute joy to speak too and made our trip unforgettable. We cannot wait to come back to this special place!

We stayed there for a week in August. It was the perfect get away. The pool and boat dock were perfect. The house had so much for the kids. Kayaks, volleyball, paddle boarding, fishing t was just perfect.
The owner was VERY helpful giving us ideas and places to visit. It was our first time there so we needed a lot of direction.
Thank you!

We just got back from our stay in Treasure Cay. This home was PERFECTION! We had 11 people in the house and had plenty of room! The host was perfect and communication was seamless. Only regret was that she wasn’t there with us to share cocktails!
The kitchen was perfectly appointed with everything we could possibly need. And plenty big enough for 5 ladies to clean, prepare food and drink cocktails together!
Our weather was a challenge, but the view from the back porch was perfect in rain or sunshine! The beach across the channel was the perfect place to go after a day on the water and at low tide!
We will all miss the porch in the evenings! The breeze off the water with the ever changing colors of the water and horizon was everything! Thank you, Misty for a wonderful week in your home! Cannot wait until next year! ❤️🇧🇸

Amazing trip!! First of all,
Misty was always fast to respond to anything that I ask! The home was well stocked, plenty of pots, pans, cookie sheets, containers, cups, thermal cups, plates, anything you would need in the kitchen!!! Lots of towels! Plenty of seating areas! We had a party of 13, 3 of which were smaller. The house accommodated us well! Location was great! We had what felt like the place to ourself! We got to see dolphins and even kayak with one dolphin, so sweet!! So relaxing just hanging out listening to the waves! My favorite spot was getting a bean bag chair and sitting down where the metal ladder was!!! We rented a boat for a few days to island hop! We did the islands down south these days! Took the ferry a couple of other days to island hop by Treasure Cay!! We swam with sea turtles at cocoa bay!!! That was pretty grand!!! The people everywhere we went were so so nice!!! Loved getting fist bumps from the locals every time we went into Maxwell’s! Flounces I think that’s the name of the restaurant in Treasure Cay, the best!! We went there multiple times for lunch, dessert, and home made bread!!! The little store at the end of the shopping strip sold Freddie’s Fruits sauces, and honey, must get!!!! Very family friendly place!!!! Sand dollar beach is also a must go to!!! We would boat all day and then come back and go to this beach!!!! Breathtaking, so beautiful!! So thankful for all the reviews that everyone left! That was what got me to book this house

This rental was amazing for our family! We all loved being on the canal and kayaking over the the beach area! It was the best of both worlds to be right beside the beach but also have the added fun of kayaking down the canal. Misty was amazing and everyone in the area was so kind! We also all really enjoyed biking around the area. It was such a laid back vacation that really takes you back to simpler times! Fishing in the area was out of this world! We have never seen so many beautiful fish! We rented a boat, which I highly recommend so you can boat around to see different islands and restaurants!

The tranquility of “Shore Beats Work” was deep. Our family of 11 stayed comfortably with space to spare. The house is beautifully decorated and comes with anything you may need and more! Spending time on the back porch with views of the ocean, sandy beach across the way and and watching the abundance of sea life was part of our favorite thing to do. Misty is by far the best host we have ever had and everyone including all the children did not want to leave after our seven days there. We will be back! ❤️❤️ Many thanks to Misty and her family for sharing.

Awesome home...awesome location...awesome host! We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and doing nothing for a week at this property. Having a beach across the inlet with a fresh shell deposit each day was great. The pool off the deck was well used. We snorkeled off the dock and off the point across the inlet. The host was super responsive and great to work with...we would highly recommend this house and we will be staying here again in the years to come. #Abacostrong
