Welcome to Shades of Blue, a beachfront home nestled on the quiet shores of Grand Cayman. This four-bedroom, four-bathroom standalone home is situated on a sandy stretch of private beach and is part of a gated nine-home community on the tip of West Bay. The home, which has its own private pool, looks out on an endless stretch of Caribbean Sea with unimpeded sightlines, giving guests unforgettable azure views during the day and sparkling sunsets at night.

The villa features three ensuite bedrooms with king beds and a fourth bedroom with a queen bed. The queen bedroom is located on the first floor and shares a communal bathroom. A second ensuite bedroom complete with laundry is also located on the first floor. Find two primary suites upstairs, including one with a large soaking tub. Each upstairs room has its own private balcony overlooking the ocean.

A spacious patio, complete with a barbecue grill, has room for outdoor dining and lounging, while a hammock strung between two palm trees makes for a perfect spot to relax in the sunshine.

The property shares a communal gym complete with a sport court for basketball, tennis and pickleball.

Shades of Blue is about a 20-minute drive from Owen Roberts International Airport and bustling George Town and just 10 minutes from Camana Bay and Seven Mile Beach, both of which have ample dining and shopping options.

In the immediate vicinity of the villa, find spots for snorkeling, diving, horseback riding, kitesurfing, paddleboarding and other water sports. We are minutes away from area favorite restaurants like Calpyso Grill, Ristorante Pappagallo, Tukka West, and Nova. The villa is also located near Barker’s National Park, which features protected beaches, mangroves and native flora perfect for a day of exploring, the Cayman Turtle Centre, and Dolphin Discovery Cayman, and a short drive from the Cayman Islands Yacht Club. To easily access these spots, we recommend renting a car during your stay.

While we're in close proximity to numerous spots to explore, you can find everything you need to kick back and unwind at this unforgettable seaside oasis that's ideal for family getaways and trips with friends alike. We provide a small selection of snorkeling gear, including a few pairs of water shoes, which we recommend using for those looking to explore the ocean out front. We also encourage guests to bring their own, as there are living coral reefs out front.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean spacious. Everything went very smoothly. When we experienced one problem with the doors, the maintenance staff was there very quickly to fix the issue. I would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic home with beautiful beachfront. Everything was great thanks to Eve, the property manager, who welcomed us upon arrival and was very attentive and supportive during our stay. Great family experience thanks to the Owners and Eve! We'll be back!

We had an amazing time! We loved the location and privacy of this Villa spot. We spent a lot of time cooking and eating together then swimming in the pool and playing pickleball. The beds were great and comfortable. We stayed 7 days and even enjoyed the rainy day on the outdoor covered back porch talking and playing games. We visited 7 mile beach, governors beach and really enoyed cemetery beach on our last day. Stingray city was amazing along with our deep sea fishing. Favorite place to eat was Silver Side for Fried Snapper Sandwiches and Heritage Kitchen for authentic island food!! We love the Cayman Islands!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The villa is spacious with beautiful water views. The beds are very comfortable, and despite very warm temperatures outside, the villa stayed cool and comfortable. The location was very convenient to all of the restaurants and activities. All of our questions were answered promptly. It was so quiet and private; we really couldn't have asked for more. It is a 5-star location for sure. I would stop looking now and book this lovely place for your stay!

A lot or work is needed on the property: Bathroom faucets were broken as were the sliding glass doors. We could never get the Kitchen Stove to work—despite using the Operation Manual provided. It appeared the Manual did not match the Stove. A number of tiles need to be replaced in the swimming pool. Beach furniture is dated. Beautiful outside setting in a quiet residential area. Private pool and outside covered deck were terrific.

Amazing location and beach. The foyer has a step that is easily missed and a member of our group hurt their knee badly. The 1st floor bedrooms would not cool down and made it difficult to sleep. Well stocked kitchen, and nice sport facilities. House manager was very communicative.

House was very clean and up to date and was spacious enough for the 8 of us. Gorgeous view of the ocean but was very rocky in the water. We still enjoyed the ocean nonetheless. Had a few minor issues but they were taken care of in a very timely manner.

Our family ( 3 adult couples and an infant) spent 11 wonderful and relaxing days in Beautiful West Bay. Our booking was seamless as was our checking in and we were welcomed with some complimentary wine and well equipped kitchen. There is a Weber BBQ as well (thoroughly cleaned inside and out by a maintenance person on our first day there!) The large air conditioned bedrooms were a dream after long sunny , hot days and the private pool was used extensively by adults and the infant alike! We snorkeled right off the front of the property and saw many fish, conches, even a small stingray. ( the waterfront where you enter the ocean is mostly coral... but within a few hundred feet there are a couple of sandy spots where you can enter and exit in comfort... having said that, water shoes would be a smart thing to bring with you if snorkelling is your thing). A wonderful tennis court is just steps away from the back door (literally) and we took advantage of this almost daily. (Raquets and balls were provided right in the home for us to use... there are basketball hoops and ball as well... NOTE: it was best to do earlier in the morning when the temperature was cooler and the wind was still light). Every day there was a beautiful breeze and if you are a sun lover you won't be disappointed... but there are plenty of shaded areas as well to keep you comfortable. We would recommend renting a vehicle as the grocery store is not walking distance. All in all we had a wonderful stay!!

We went as a family of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 11-15). We all had a wonderful time! The home was exactly how it was listed…. And the location was 15 minutes to everything. Eve helped us with provisioning beforehand which was lovely as we arrived on Easter and everything was closed. She was very communicative and friendly and was even able to accommodate us for an early check in which was lovely as we came from California and had a red eye so we were all exhausted. I’d highly recommend this property based on cleanliness, location, and our wonderful hostess.

We love West Bay but it’s hard to find nice places on the beach that are big enough. This property was perfect for our family of 6. Basketball court for the teen boys. Pool was perfect for my daughter who spent hours in it. Gym was small but well equipped and equipment was all very nice. One of the bedroom/bathroom layouts was a little weird (it looks like they converted the garage) but it was a nice room and the boys figured it out. Beach was right out back, gorgeous, with truly fantastic snorkeling right there. Hammock was delightful, outdoor area was nice and shaded with comfy furniture. Host was very communicative and responsive to questions. We all very much enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

The house is great- plenty of room for all 8 of us… west bay is definitely the location you want to be! Close to everything with a rental car. We loved it and would love to come back one day! Carmen the host is excellent with communication abs the housekeeping group is so friendly.

This property was everything we imagined for our vacation with family! Location in West Bay was great close to grocery and liquor store and great restaurants! Pool was fabulous! Everything in the house was first rate including the washer and dryer, tv's etc.! We found the public beach (3 roundabouts away) at the beginning of Seven Mile Beach near the Pimpton and went there often for the white sandy beach, calm waters, chairs and walked to Coccobobo for the best Pina Coladas! We dined at Pappagallo, Bacaro, Nova, Vivo, Tukkas, Calypso Grill, The Wharf, Bayside, LobsterPot, Macabuca, Kaibo, Morgans and of course Murph's Kitchen at the beach. We snorkeled right in front of the house on calm days (bring your water shoes) very rocky in front of house. We fished the jetty numerous times just a short walk past the house. The kids collected numerous shells, coral and sea glass right at the beach at the house. We chartered fishing trips with Get Bent Charters- fished, did stingray and starfish point. We saw the Turtles ( water slide for kids) and interacted with the Dolphins! We cooked our catch right back at the house! Internet was good I did multiple zooms! We played tennis and basketball and worked out at the gym. All I can finally say is that we enjoyed paradise and made memories!

We rented the house for a family getaway (5 adults, 5 kids ages 9,6, 4 and two babies). This lovely property was perfect for all ages. The home is very spacious, clean and extremely well equipped. The kitchen has all of the tools anyone could need, appliances were top notch and we loved the added bonus of laundry on-site (a necessity with the kiddos). The master bedrooms upstairs were more like hotel suites, with gorgeous en suites and both have balconies overlooking the pool and beach. Outside there are several seating areas, a beautiful hammock between two palm trees and a lovely pool. You literally step onto the beach from the back patio. The bbq looked brand new. There are bicycles, paddles boards and tennis courts (in the little community) to enjoy. Racquets and balls were available in the house, along with a basketball. Renting a car is a must (left hand drive) for shopping, dining out. The kids loved the turtle conservation centre. If you like ribs, jerk chicken and similar food, Macabuca is a great tiki bar restaurant on the ocean. One night a week they have a buffet (highly recommend it!). Tillies for a more upscale dining. All are within an easy drive. Overall, this property had it all!! It was clean, well stocked with necessities and so spacious. Outdoors, well it is a bit of paradise. My only comment about the beach is that the shoreline is not smooth sand. Because we had a week of some unsettled weather (which made little difference to us), the ocean was a bit too rough for the kids and beach shoes would be needed as there is coral/rocks when you enter the water. It was a trip of a lifetime for us!

Great stay. It was a good location if you would like to be away from the crowds of 7 mile beach. It was a little windy which made the ocean more rough. Carmen the owner was very responsive to our needs. The house was very neat and clean which is one of my top priorities when renting a house.
