About this house rental
Welcome to Downtown Holland; Home to excellent dining & shopping, entertainment, Hope College and oh.. the largest tulip festival in the United States. All of these awesome attractions are less than 1 mile away from our doorstep.
Our 2-bedroom, 1-bath home is perfect for those in town for vacation, work, or visiting your loved ones at school.
Our home offers close proximity to:
Dining & Shopping – 0.7 Miles
Hope College – 0.5 miles
Tulip Lane - 5 houses down
Local Parks - A few blocks
The Space
Constructed in 1896 this home has some old-style flair with newer finishes and furnishings. The home is nestled in a nice downtown neighborhood and has a backyard along with a private front porch to give you a little space to enjoy the great outdoors. 4 guests are ideal for maximum comfort, but 5 or 6 can surely be accommodated.
The home is furnished with 1 king sized bed in one bedroom and a queen bed + a twin trundle that pulls out in the other bedroom. The sleeper sofa can also provide more sleeping space if needed with a full-sized pull-out bed.
Thinking about eating in verses heading out on the town? No problem, we’ve got you covered. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, pots, pans, etc.
For those rainy or long days when you just want to curl up and enjoy a little Netflix, this living room will be your happy place. The space is equipped with a flat screen TV and a Roku so you are able to log onto your favorite apps and enjoy a little downtime.
In terms of amenities, the house is stocked with the small essentials that are just not fun to live without; coffee, washer & dryer, towels, hair dryer, iron, coffee (probably the most important essential so we had to mention twice) and more.
Guest Access
You’ll have access to the entire ground floor of the home along with the backyard space, which has a grill and some green space to enjoy the great outdoors.
Other Things to Note
For those currently serving or have served in our armed forces or public safety, please let us know, we thank you for your service and would like to share our gratitude with a special rate.
This apartment is located on the ground floor of a multi-unit home and is completely separate from the upper floor. The upper floor is used for longer term rentals, so there may be other guests sharing the driveway and outdoor space at times.
Parking is provided in the driveway for two vehicles, any guest vehicles more than the two will have to park on the road.
We do have a doorbell camera at the front door for receiving packages and for added security to the property.

This property was located within reasonable driving distance to many of our area needs. We wanted to visit some beaches, blueberry farms, downtown gift places, and other area attractions. Holland has a lot to offer. This property was just as advertised, and it worked perfect for our vacationing family.

Very nice place. Comfortable beds. Spacious and clean. Host/property manager communicative and easy to get a hold of. Easy walk to Centennial park, Kollen Park, and 8th street shops/testaurants. Short drive to Ottawa Beach, Tunnel Park, Windmill Island and Niles Dutch Village. Overall great visit. Would stay again.
Just a heads up. For anyone thinking of visiting during 4th of July weekend…Holland Michigan LOVES their fireworks 😂…we were not prepared for the late and loud celebrations throughout the neighborhoods during the stay. Noise machines in the bedrooms helped calm our 5 year old. Fireworks at Kollen Park were great though. 👍

Quick trip through Holland. Place was easy to get to and clean. Plenty of space to stay the week if you wanted to. No issues.

We enjoyed this house so much. We were there during a snowstorm and Eric provided great snow removal. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals and more. The beds are comfortable and the shower water has good pressure and temperature. The location is central and convenient.

Nice place, really clean and comfortable. We had a great stay. The only problem is the noise made by the train at night. Nothing to do with the property.
It is well situated, not far from downtown.

This was a great spot and by far the most well-equipped VRBO! Plenty of extra blankets, pillows, and pantry staples. I really appreciated finding sugar for coffee and plenty of dishwashing detergent, super helpful when traveling!
Short, lovely walk to Hope College and downtown Holland.

Great stay and location to downtown Holland! Place had everything you needed for a family of 5. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had all the essentials for us to prepare our meals when we didn't go out to it. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is perfect for a visit to Holland Michigan. Its located in a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the downtown district and a few minutes from all local attractions
We were here for a weekend youth softball tourney and it was a home run for all our needs.
The kitchen is large, with an excellent amount of counter space. All appliances worked well.
All the necessities were on hand for cooking our meals, along with plenty of dishes and silverware.
The bedrooms were an adequate size and the beds were very comfortable to us.
Bathroom is adequate but the shower is a little small. It doesnt allow for much movement. Not a complaint but a fact.
Overall, the house is exactly as it looks in the pictures and the host delivers as advertised.
Its clean, comfortable and exceptionally quiet.
If our future ever brings us back to Holland this will be the first place we look to for booking a stay.

A nice, small place to stay. Check-in is quite late if you need a place to put kids down to nap but it is clean and located centrally. Overall this was a simple, cute place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! Only wish it was longer. The beds were super comfy, the room had all the comforts you would need (sound machine, fan, extra pillows/blankets, blackout curtains, etc.) I did not want to leave! The kitchen was also extremely well stocked, we had everything we needed to cook meals throughout our entire stay. Eric is also a very good host, he provided all the details about the property and area in a book in the unit and communicated well with me during the stay. We had an issue with the TV on the first day and he was quick to respond. The area is great too, very cute neighbourhood. Not exactly super close to the downtown or beach but it was just a quick drive away and we didn't mind that at all.

It was a girls weekend for me and bestie during Tulip Time. the house was very comfortable and the location was perfect. We walked everywhere and it was so nice to leave the car behind most days! The downtown area has so many wonderful restaurants and shops. We ventured out to Saugatuck, Verdeer Farms (amazing), the Dutch Village and the Dunes on a few days but most days and all were quick easy drives. It was a very enjoyable week.

This is my 2nd visit to this vrbo. Both times we were there for tulip festival. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Felt like home.
It’s not a short walk but close enough to downtown that we walked there everyday. Holland is a beautiful city any time of year but tulip time is great time to visit. Beautiful parks all over the city.
The home owner is quick to respond to any questions. Easy entry and exit.
Will be back again!

The home/apartments was the perfect size (sleeps 7 easily but only needed room for 3 adults due to bad weather and other guest not being able to join us), immaculately kept with a full kitchen that made it much easier to cook meals for the entire weekend instead of trying to find a place open to eat after attending college basketball games.

This was a great stay-exactly as advertised, clean on arrival and easy check in process. We had 6 adults comfortably stay here and enjoyed how close it was to downtown Holland. Would definitely come back!

Great location near downtown Holland. The 2 space parking in the rear of the apartment was wonderful, with a motion light after dark. Very clean and comfortable accommodations, with spacious bedrooms, bathroom, nice dining room and comfortable living room furniture. Eric was a wonderful host who replied immediately to any inquiries. We'd definitely recommend it for another girls weekend.

Great Holland Rental
We were pleasantly surprised with this Holland Rental. The host provided almost everything we needed during our week's stay. We lacked for nothing in this rental. It was clean, stocked, spacious and was located right in the "heart" of Holland, even a block away from where I grew up. We would definitely recommend this rental and look forward to future stays.
