Come home to some of the best views in Hill Country at this villa on a lakefront family vineyard. A staircase leads to the lake, where you can hang out on the boat dock, float in the water, and tie off your boat after a day on the water. The home is on one of the deepest coves of Lake Travis - the water is currently 45' deep below the boat dock. You'll be about 35 miles from downtown Austin. Taste test your way around well-regarded bars and restaurants, catch some live music, and be sure to visit the historic Texas Capitol. Head to Marble Falls to pick up a bottle of wine at Flat Creek Estate or a bundle of berries at pick-your-own Sweet Berry Farms.

You have two beautiful views with vineyards on one side and the lake and Hill Country on the other. Walk into the living area, with vaulted ceilings, a TV with a DVD player, and an open-concept layout that includes the kitchen and dining space. Large picture windows facing the balcony give you lake views from every spot! From the living area, a door leads to the terrace with an outdoor table before that gorgeous view. Watch the boats go by, and when night falls, watch the lights illuminate Lake Travis. In the kitchen, find a beautiful Silestone wraparound counter and all appliances, including a toaster oven, electric skillet, and dishwasher. The living room has a door to the balcony with seating around a table.

Pros: vineyard on one side and Lakeview on the other. Duplex was clean. Tv has vizio so you can watch movies. Wake up to the birds chirping and flying into the window. Cons: 1.this rental needs a book that tells you about the property and things to do in the area. 2.check out is early (10:00) and we had to strip the beds. That is ridiculous. 3.i thought the pictures were misleading. I assumed the stairs to the boat dock were in front of the rental but they are shared with everyone the property. Also the stairs are probably 3 flights up and part of the way is without a handrail. If we hsd children this would be terrifying. 4.i had to call the vacation management company to fix the front porch light. The back door does not latch. Needs to be fixed. Clock doesn't work. Needs a battery. 5.yes the kitchen has SOME essentials. We had to go to the store for baking spray, foil, etc. 6.every room needs something. The decor does not match. The primary bedroom could use another nightstand, lamp, luggage rack in closet and hooks on wall. I wanted to give this place high marks, but ive stayed at places that deserve 9 or 10 stars and they do better.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and loved it. Private and secluded but not a bad drive to restaurants. Great views and very comfortable.

Picture the Texas Hill Country. Now throw in a vineyard. Oh, and Lake Travis. You just need a stop at Smitty’s in Lockhart for the world’s best BBQ. You too can have it all.

We all enjoyed our stay. The property guidance signs are small so it’s best to arrive before dark. We even saw a deer pass by the property! There was a grill outside and the heater worked great inside for the chilly days. We used the tabletop toaster oven and counter cooktop for anything else we needed. I wish there was a good tea pot or tea kettle. Also, as frequent travelers, we like trying local coffee but we don’t always want to buy a whole bag of it so a small sample available to use in the coffee maker would be amazing. The major fully stocked local grocery stores are 20-30 min away. The view is great, remember it is lakeside so it will be on a slope! The walkway to the house is steep and with really low lake levels, the stairway is a mini hike down to the water. Feels like you’re in the middle of nature but still with a distant view of the city. We enjoyed a bottle of Chardonnay at the Chardonnay, cheers! Would absolutely recommend and stay here again during the spring time - want to see the colors when everything is in bloom!

Stayed with our boat. Great place to tie off. I would not do it again though unless a closer ramp was available. We ended up having boat troubles and it was not nice to have our trailer and the ramp so far apart. It has a nice swimming area. The doc is a serious climb, 122 stairs for just the 1st part. We tried to not forget anything when we walked down, but did a few times! We have a hardtop and a dually. We had to park before the gate. The street leading to the property is more like a long driveway just so you know. You may want to bring your own drying towels and paper towels. They have one towel with the normal cheep paper towels. The porch is really comfortable with a nice view. It would be a great place to rent out if you needed both units. We really enjoyed staying here! For Vacasa, we called to ask a question when we checked in. We waited for 10 min and had to give up. The fridge needs to be elevated a little bit. You can take off the skin on your toe as you open it. It would be nice to have a lamp in the bunk room. It would also be nice to have several towel hooks. Pretty ridiculous also that we are asked to clean up the sheets and towels. Under the beds are pretty dusty. Not cool to reach back there when toys fall. The rest of the place was clean.

Loved this house. The view was amazing and the house was clean. The location was perfect. The keypad on front door was not working so we had to contact them in order to get into the lock box to get the code to the key. A few recommendations would be to keep extra trash bags. We weren’t really sure what to do with the full trash either since there were not trash bins outside anywhere. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back.
