About this cabin rental
One of the best cabins on Beech Mountain with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths spread over 3 floors that can comfortably sleep 14 with ample room to roam.
The cabin is beautifully decorated with new furnishings and features. We have 4 flat screen TV's and high-speed wireless and a gourmet kitchen.
It is sized perfectly for large family gatherings, yet cozy enough for just a few. Enjoy the view of Ski Beech Mountain from our wrap around porch, take a hike on many of the nearby designated trails or just relax and watch the wildlife meander through the back yard in the setting sun. This is one of the very few houses on Beech Mountain with Air Conditioning!!!
Just off Beech Mountain are the charming towns of Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock. Each of these are home to great restaurants and shopping. Spend time at Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Caverns, Mystery Hill and the original Mast General Store. With whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, rock climbing, caving, or fly fishing, there is no shortage of world class outdoor activities within a 30-minute drive.
The town of Boone, home to Appalachian State University is close by. There is shopping at the quaint shops and nice restaurants in the downtown area.
The Town of Beech Mountain requires that you have a vehicle that is properly equipped in the event of inclement weather during the winter months. You must have a vehicle with 4WD or chains if there is snow or ice to keep you safe during your visit.
The week of Christmas and the week of New Year must be rented for 4 nights and must begin on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday before the Holiday. The first family to rent their week will determine what days will be left for check-in.

The property was very adequate for our large family group with lots of room for kids to play. Beds were comfortable and the big dining table was great for family meals. The house needs some maintenance upkeep. Sliding screen door was sitting on the outdoor table. The grill was unusable and the pull out couch was broken. The downstairs shower curtain needs to be replaced.
We did enjoy the cool weather of Beech Mountain and the fireworks were amazing.

Space was good for our group loved the downstairs area for the kids. View to the slopes through the trees was pretty.

Everyone had a wonderful time, it snowed the last night we were there which made it even nicer. Our grandchildren really enjoyed the game room. Spacious enough for everyone to hang out together, but also plenty of room to relax by yourself if you wanted to. We enjoyed watching the numerous deer that visited each day. Great location.

First of all let me say we enjoyed our stay. This was a great location ,near Grandfather Mountain and other attractions. The cabin had a well equipped kitchen, main living room with a fire place, nice beds and baths. We would book this property again. A few maintenance items the owner might want to address, the area rug in the living room is curled up along the edge which is a tripping hazard ,Ask me how ii know, there is a closet door broken up stairs ,the air hockey table has a broken power cord which is a fire hazard so we unplugged it.

The house and location were great! Communication was responded to in a timely manner. A couple of issues with dirty sheets on a pullout bed and dirty dishes put up in cabinets, but the house was in good order and clean overall. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Internet was out all weekend which was disappointing

The cabin is gorgeous. There was ample room for everyone in our 6 person group to spread out. We were greeted by a deer at the front of the cabin on arrival. I would recommend this cabin for anyone trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The kitchen is well stocked. The neighborhood is quiet and has a large and friendly deer population. The quaint ski town of Beech Mountain is near by for dining out and general store needs. The roads are steep and full of tight switchbacks that may be challenging in snowy or icy weather. My travel tip is to use the actual GPS coordinates to find the cabin. Depending on you navigation software you may end up at the wrong address on your first attempt if you simply enter the address for your destination. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely cabin and location. Kitchen tools could use a bit of updating. Hand mixer doesn’t work and there is only one big knife. Kids loved the air hockey table.

The property was spacious and nicely decorated with plenty of room. However, the cleanliness was somewhat suspect. It seems the main living room/kitchen/dining room had not been swept. Debris under dining table and throughout. The carpets on bottom and top floors also were not adequately vacuumed. There was hair in bottom level bathroom. A candy wrapper was found in one of the upstairs bedsheets. The refrigerator was not cleaned-- especially the door shelves were dirty. The exterior grill was very dirty. We had to clean prior to cooking. We also cleaned it before we left. however, there was not a good scrub tool so we had to make do with what we had to do the cleaning. There were sheets wadded up on the bottom level sofa. We did not touch these since we did not know if they were clean or dirty. Upon arrival the sliding glass door to the exterior deck was left unlocked. Screens on the exterior sliding doors on main level had damage. The refrigerator did not seem to keep a cold temperature. I texted the host and got no response at all. The freezer section was working, so we kept moving freezer packs to the fridge side to help keep cold. We were told toilet paper was supplied. It was not in all bathrooms. I suggest that a grill spatula be provided as the tongs sometimes are not adequate. We were told a drip coffee maker would be present. We could not find it. While this seems like a long list, the main issue was lack of pristine cleanliness. For the price, we felt like it should have been much cleaner -- especially since we are not fully out of the pandemic. Also, I would suggest that you warn guests that there is a considerable distance to travel on gravel roads. The area is beautiful, and we had a good weekend.

Overall , it was a great week. Although when we arrived the refrigerator was not working!! We were eager to get our 400 dollars of groceries put in the refrigerator ! After a lot of communication with the owner/property manager and repair man. We ended up taking the repair man’s advice and we removed the back of the fridge and placed a box fan in the back. We then at property owners suggestion went to local store and purchased coolers and bags of ice, this did keep our groceries from spoiling. The refrigerator was repaired on late Thursday afternoon, we did check in on Monday. The dishwasher had to be run 3 times each load to get dishes clean. Check in instructions were not sent, I had to reach out to owner /property manager for instructions after arrival. We did appreciate the spacious home and it accommodated my family of 11 very well.

Beautiful getaway family cabin
Cabin is beautiful and, as expected, housed our entire large family comfortably. Deer abound in the area, and the view from the cabin windows is stunning. Kitchen was well furnished with what we needed for our meal prep. Overall, wonderful stay!

Beech Mountain Family Trip
Property was awesome!!! Could see the slopes from the upstairs queen bedroom! Only two complaints:
1. Living room rug is a trip hazard (curls up on one end)
2. Some of the linen needs updating
Minor things!! The property actually changed hands prior to our rental, but the new owners were awesome with honoring our reservations and communicating! Will definitely be back!!!

Beech mountain house
The house is very nice and spacious. It's great for a large group. Would stay again. However, when you have a house that can accommodate up to 14 people you really need to have a much better coffee pot. It was small and very slow. And yes they say in the description that it was a kuerig however that is just not big enough for so many people.(we had 11). And I feel the house could use a few more towels over all. That being said I would stay there again.

Great Mountain Weekend
We had a great time with our family at this beautiful mountain cabin! There was a mix up with the cleaning service and the host and the house wasn’t ready when we arrived. The host took care of this immediately! He even came out and did some things himself! The cleaning crew also came and brought us some extra linens the next day. Besides that little mixup everything else was wonderful! The kitchen was adequately supplied with all the things we needed during our stay! The cabin was the perfect space for our family! Thankfully the roads weren’t icy but if they were, I do recommend having a 4 wheel drive to get up to the cabin!
We had a family member get engaged this weekend which made it the perfect weekend for our family!! I hope to stay here again!!

Beech Mountain getaway!
12 of us stayed at this property from Thursday-Sunday. It was a great layout and plenty of room. Kitchen needs additional pots and pans to accommodate a large group. They need daily cleaning supplies in kitchen for cleaning stove and countertops, need paper towels (said they provide but only had 1 roll). Since all the stores are a good distance from property they need to furnish wood (stock a wood pile) for outdoor pit and inside fireplace. House was pretty clean except floor of one bathroom and the glass top stove. Overall we loved this property and will rent again.

Wonderful
The cabin felt welcoming and comfortable! We enjoyed the alpine coaster, great Mexican food as well in town! Some of us noticed a smell in the sheets as well as hair in the master shower but over all it was a very good stay! Thank you!!

Greta for large families.
Our family of 13 stayed very comfortably in this beautiful cabin. Beds were the best rental beds we’ve ever slept on. Great kitchen. However there is no large coffee maker. We brought one. Only a kcup type coffee maker. Also there are no large nonstick pans if you are cooking. Other than that it was fantastic.

Had a great time with friends and these details didn't stop us from having fun and enjoying the house. The host was very responsive and even let us check in a bit early. The location was good, roughly 15 min from Banner Elk village but 30min drive to Food Lion & Lowes. Great scenery so the drives weren't so bad. I would have gave this listing 5 stars but there were a few details which the host can improve. We were a group of 11 adults and there were sufficient beds to accommodate a couple and mostly single individual men who didn't want to share a bed. The place was roomy, had a fun game game room downstairs with air hockey and foosball, nice firepit outside and plenty of bathrooms. The beds were comfy and the bunks weren't as thin as typical kids rooms are with bunks. The details that were missed:- The sleeper sofa in the downstairs game room wasn't clean. In fact, the sheets had blood stains on them with crumbs all over the place when we opened it. The mattress was also very thin and no way a grown adult would have a comfortable sleep. Luckily, one of us had an air mattress just in case. - No coffee makers as listed in the amenities. There is only a keurig so you need to bring pods which we didn't have and only brought ground beans. - One sharp kitchen knife to prep food with. If you like to cook, and that's your plan for the house, then bring knives to cut with. - Plenty of pots and pans but not the right sizes. If you are cooking for many individuals there were small to medium size pots but not big enough to cook a dish at the same time. I had to use 2 pots and get creative with how to use the other pots to make other side dishes. If you're making eggs in the morning there isn't a good pan large enough for this. If you're not looking to cook that much during your stay then you probably don't have to worry this. Otherwise, this house was great for our budget and accommodated our sleeping needs Last thing I will say is the parking. The host confirmed there was enough space for 4 cars. We got there and were able to fit at least 6 cars and 2 more could have probably fit. You would need to move cars around to leave but didn't have to worry about parking on the road. We had sedans and 2 Jeeps.
