We had an excellent time in Anchorage. This home was in the perfect location. Only 20 minute outside of the city but in a beautiful country location. We even saw a moose from the house, across the valley on our last day. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. The check-in/check-out process was smooth and easy. The home itself is beautiful and very well-kept, with stunning views that made our stay even more special. It's conveniently located just 30 minutes from Anchorage Airport, making it an ideal spot for a family getaway. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. We highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We stayed for a week with our 14 year old grandson. The property was gorgeous and fit our needs exactly. The view is absolutely stunning. I will admit that the drive to get to the house was just a bit nerve wracking the first time, but necessary to have the view and became easier the more we drove it. The house had everything we could wish for. The owner was easy to contact though I found it easiest to text rather than using the VRBO response site. We would absolutely look into this house if we were in need of a stay in Anchorage in the future.

Our family of five (including three young adults) loved staying on this hillside home. We found the house to be spacious, clean, and well equipped. We all had our own space to spread out, and enjoyed many games and meals around the dining table. We did cook a lot here and my husband grilled three of the nights we stayed. The view is magnificent…even on cloudy days. And the location was perfect for all of our adventures. We would definitely stay here again. We watched a mom and baby moose out the kitchen window, and were treated to seeing two moose on the road into the neighborhood. We also saw a momma bear and three cubs crossing the road on our way to hike Flattop Mountain. Elena was easy to work with, and was quick to reply to any questions I had. Thanks for shari g this great spot with our family.

360 degrees of mountain and water views! The house was clean and tidy, and communication was great. Great starting point to head into Anchorage or south to Seward and other points along the scenic Seward Hwy. Or, just sit on the deck and admire the scenery.

We were looking for a home base in Anchorage for our Alaska vacation and this house was perfect. It is up on the hillside and about 20 minutes out of the downtown area. But the views are amazing and we were able to see some moose in the neighborhood. The kitchen was well appointed and the family room was a great place to gather in the evenings after long days of adventures.

We had a wonderful first-time visit to Alaska thanks to this vrbo property and host! The location is absolutely perfect — an easy drive from the airport and easy 20 minutes to downtown Anchorage for all the restaurants. You’re close enough to everything while enjoying gorgeous views in the quieter Bear Valley neighborhood. And while every spot provides an incredible view, our favorite was out the kitchen sink window! The house provided ample space for my husband and I plus my parents. We especially enjoyed taking advantage of the kitchen for breakfast at the house. Elena was wonderful to work with. We rented her vehicle, and she was able to accommodate our late departure time with a later checkout. All my random questions were answered in a breeze. We hope to return and will definitely look to this property again. Highly recommend for your adventures in and around Anchorage!

We’ve stayed at several vacation rentals and this was by far our best experience! Having lived in the Anchorage area years ago, we knew the high hillside location would be outstanding for its convenient, yet quiet location and view overlooking Anchorage, Cook Inlet and the mountains beyond. But it was even better than we could have ever dreamed. The house itself was EXTREMELY clean and the furnishings were all current and very comfortable for our family of six, which included teens and their parents and grandparents. We loved the wide-open spaciousness of the main floor and the kitchen was equipped with very modern appliances. As host, Elena was beyond accommodating and absolutely great to deal with. All this made our wonderful Alaska vacation perfect!

My stay at the Anchorage property was absolutely incredible! I couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental. Firstly, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the place were impeccable. It felt like stepping into a brand new home with ample room to relax and unwind. One of the highlights for me was the location. Being just outside of Anchorage provided the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. I felt wonderfully removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough to easily access anything I needed. Now, let's talk about the view. Oh my, it was simply breathtaking! From the property, I was treated to panoramic vistas that left me in awe every single day. Whether it was the majestic mountains or the stunning natural landscapes, the scenery was nothing short of magnificent. Another aspect that made this property stand out was its privacy. I truly felt like I had my own little haven, away from the world. The tranquility and serenity that surrounded the property were unmatched, allowing me to fully unwind and rejuvenate. Lastly, I must commend the host for their exceptional service. They were prompt, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. A fantastic place to stay if you are sightseeing in and around Anchorage. The views are spectacular. We saw moose just about every day as we drove down the street. Nice to have hiking trails nearby too. Great kitchen appliances and lots of room to prepare meals. Bathrooms need a bit updating. Master bedroom needs room darkening shades during summer solstice. Overall, we enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

Nice peaceful and private location with beautiful views and plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy Anchorage area. Elena was spectacular and super helpful. Her home and advice helped to make our trip even better. She was super flexible and even had a rental van that we utilized while we were there which saved time and money versus the expensive airport options. We are very pleased with our experience and stay. Thanks Elena!
