Lovely historical home in West Barnstable. Great outdoor space. Very well equipped kitchen. Three bedrooms and three baths. Excellent communication with owners.

The house and property were absolutely gorgeous. Better than the pictures. Our children were in heaven in the backyard. We had to force them to go to the beach, they just loved all the gardens and berries and privacy! Inside was amazing too- incredibly clean, so well stocked with anything you could ever need! The bedrooms were so cozy and adorable. The owner thought of everything and was available and very informative. We couldn’t have asked for more. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer. Also the location was great- easy to get to other towns on the Cape and out and about. We would come back in a heart beat.

This is just a truly beautiful home! The grounds are lush and ample. We had a wonderful time in Cape Cod! I wish our stay was longer. Check in was easy. Having a first floor bedroom was great and needed. The bathrooms are clean and beautiful. It was so nice to be able to have our dog with us and know she was safe in the yard! Thank you Kinnet for all your help!

Perfect place to stay on the Cape! Truly a home away from home. We were three generations traveling together and the home provided a place for us to make wonderful memories together. Incredibly clean, comfortable and cozy. Will definitely return if travel brings us back to Cape Cod! Thank you!!!

We had a lovely time at this charming property. It has a huge garden and also lots of space inside. The house was well equipped (e.g herbs and teas in the kitchen, beach chairs and bicycles in the shed) and we appreciated having the beach park permit for free parking.

We loved the Charles Grey house and all of its amenities. The hammocks were great, lots of outside eating options, and it was so helpful to have the beach chairs and umbrella and boogie boards. Thanks for a wonderful family vacation.

There are so many wonderful highlights about this property it’s almost impossible to list them all. But here’s a try. My son and daughter live in different states and it’s hard to get everyone together. One of my nephew’s was marrying at the cape.
After looking on VRBO I came across this jewel.
The pictures really don’t do it justice.
The back yard was amazing, for our little pups.
The kitchen where we spent most the time preparing for dinner had everything we needed.
It’s such a beautiful place we intend to make it a yearly trip. Thank you Kennit

The property was amazing. Almost wish we did not have to leave. I love the overall theme of the house and the kitchen. The upstairs master bedroom bathroom has heated floors! It was a great surprise in the middle of the night. Property was well maintained and clean.

We did a lot of research before deciding on this property and we really didn't regret it. It was a wow, all the way around. As soon as we walked through the front door, we were immersed in the world of this charming and spacious New England heritage home. It was wonderful! The interior of the house has been restored and everything in it is of good quality. Our kids all slept very well in their room located on the seconde floor. Our oldest had a master bedroom to himself. Our two younger ones slept in the same room (two single beds). As for us, we had another beautiful room, located on the first floor. The house was well air-conditioned. We particularly appreciated the large dining/living room surrounded by paneled windows. This is where we ate and played board games. There is also a second large living room and a second beautiful dining room. We also really enjoyed the huge, beautifully landscaped backyard with a fire pit and a pergola for morning coffee. The house is really well located in the beautiful municipality of Barnstable. It was a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on Cape Cod or to good restaurants, microbreweries, etc. The owner was in constant communication with us from start to finish and we felt her sincere desire to provide us with the best Cape Cod experience possible. She also provides us with various things that can enhance the stay, including bicycles, knee boards, etc. I highly recommend this property. I would definitely go back.

AMAZING historic house right off of 6A in West Barnstable! The house is so clean and charming- the grounds are INCREDIBLE! Everything you need- from beach chairs to bikes! Each bedroom has its own very nice bathroom- comfortable beds with very nice linens- so much space for everyone in the family to gather or spread out! The AC was so refreshing and we loved laying in the hammocks under the trees after a day at the beach! FANTASTIC house!!

We had a great summer vacation at Kinnet's house! We love historic houses and this one did not disappoint. It was perfect for us with one bedroom downstairs for my mother and two upstairs, one for me and my husband and the other for our toddler. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The sun room is a lovely spot to hang out in the evening with great breezes, a big table, and a really nice TV. I feel like the listing does not do the yard justice, it has a HUGE lot with beautiful trees and plants and tons of privacy, nice lawns for my daughter to run around in, a gazebo with chairs and a table, a garden, and a fully fenced in area for a dog. Two things to be aware of are the retro stove are is super cool but a bit complicated to use, and the back stairs up to the bedroom with two twins are extremely steep, even by 1800s house standards. Would not stop us whatsoever from staying again, we made a lot of great memories here and we were very comfortable and well taken care of! Thanks Kinnet!

A beautiful, historic home in Barnstable
We loved our stay at The Charles Gray house. The home was exactly as advertised, in fact it was better in person! The beds were comfortable, the home beautifully furnished, the grounds lovely and the communication with Kinnet was great. She gave us some wonderful ideas on places to visit while staying in Cape Cod. I would highly recommend this home. It was fascinating to read and see all the history behind it. Would love to stay here again if we get the chance to head to Cape Cod again.

Spectacular Home in Great Location!
This spectacular home is located in the middle of the Cape making it the perfect location to venture out and enjoy sightseeing in any direction. There is a playground within walking distance where little ones can see horses and goats along the walk. We enjoyed having the family together in the huge sunroom. The host has everything that you may have forgotten to pack, and the fenced yard is like a park! We are looking forward to returning to this home for another great vacation on the Cape!
