Make yourself at home in this historic brick cottage that has been lovingly and completely transformed into a cozy and tastefully decorated modern home. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, it can comfortably sleep 6. Other amenities include a full kitchen, laundry, WiFi, TV options (ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu), comfortable furniture, and memory foam mattresses Outdoors there is a patio, table, and small grill. There are no other houses behind this house so you can enjoy the quiet and can see the river most of the year, although it is not super close. Easy walking to Bucknell and the shops and restaurants in downtown Lewisburg. Enjoy exploring one of the best small towns in PA!

House was super clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed! It was the perfect location for our group visiting the area to do some gravel cycling. We visit PA often to visit my husband's family and have always stayed a Best Western. We chose to use VRBO this year and we were so pleased with our choice. It was everything we expected and more. It was so clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided for our family of 6. We were able to have people come to visit us and they all loved the place. The area was quiet. Even though it is by the train tracks we only had it come by 2 or 3 time the whole week. We even saw deer in the yard. I had a question and Donna responded quickly. We will definitely book again for our next trip.

Spent the weekend reconnecting with friends with whom we had lost touch over the past 10 years. The home was the perfect size with all the comforts needed that we found ourselves spending most of our time staying "home" and conversing rather than venturing out. Though, downtown Lewisburg with all the shops and restaurants was a short1/2 mile walk away. The Susquehanna flows just off the back of the property; it was wonderful to meander along its banks.

We rented this place as a half-way point between Pittsburgh and Jersey to meet with family before the holidays. We had an amazing weekend. It was spotless clean and well equipped throughout each room with relevant necessities. Donna’s communication was excellent. She was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to do it every year moving forward. Our entire family was very impressed and happy with the place, it was an unforgettable weekend. We stayed here as a home base while dropping our son off for his first year at Bucknell University. It was THE perfect place in absolutely every way. It is clean, tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished, QUIET (even though it's right on the edge of campus), and walkable to both town and campus. We couldn't have asked for more. Truly a gem.
Right after I finish this review, I am going to go into the calendar and try to snag this home for the next four years' worth of family weekends, plus homecomings, and graduation in 2026. I only hope that Reuben and Donna have a calendar that lists out that far! :-)

Modern Home Away From Home
We spent a few nights at the Brown street house in Lewisburg this fall. Very pleased with how well done the house was. Modern but comfortable, with very tasteful furnishings that allow one to easily feel at home. Beautiful kitchen (gave us some ideas to implementin our own home lol). Comfortable beds. My young son enjoyed running around the large back yard, where we also enjoyed lunch. Only hiccup was that the wifi wasn't working, we couldn't even find the home wifi name but not a huge issue since a very short stay and owners were very receptive trying to help. Would definitely stay again!

Yes. Worthy of all caps and anyone visiting Bucknell should put this at the top of their list. Great location. Space was pristine and included everything anyone would need. Communication was excellent. Underrated at 5 stars!

Nicest VRBO ever!
The property was beautiful, very clean, well equipped and even had extra supplies (paper towels/toilet paper/toothbrushes,etc). Bed in Master bedroom was so comfy!! Close to downtown Lewisburg and Bucknell. The owners responded to questions quickly and we’re so polite. Will definitely come back!!

Modern house close to Bucknell & downtown Lewisburg
We had a great weekend at this house before dropping kids at camp at Bucknell. It is right across street from the university and about a ten minute walk to downtown. The place has been completely gutted and redone in a very tasteful and modern fashion. It was well stocked and the perfect size for two couples and two teens. It has a lovely back yard, which had more fireflies than I have ever seen in my life. The hosts were very responsive with recommendations for things to do and local restaurants. Would highly recommend staying in this property.

Surpassed our expectations
The photos do not do this property justice. The home was immaculate, the appliances in the laundry and kitchen were all "top of the line," and the owners thought of every little touch that you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The kitchen was well-equipped with anything you would need. The patio in the backyard made visiting with friends a relaxing experience. The location was perfect for our short walk to the Bucknell University campus. Although we were concerned about the parking in front of the home when we read the description, we found there was never a problem. The beds were extremely comfortable and the owners provided everything that would make the stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this property and would certainly look to stay there if we are ever in the area again.

Great location, beautiful home!
4 BU grads from 20 years ago got together for a nostalgic weekend in Lewisburg, and we could not have chosen a better place to stay! The house on Brown Street was an easy walk to campus as well as to town. We walked to Market Street, the Freeze, and the rail trail and never needed to use our cars! The house was spotless and impeccably decorated in a comfortable, modern style. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, accommodating our needs and offering helpful recommendations for the area. It was such a peaceful location, with a lovely patio and a view of the river. We definitely would love to stay there again!

Outstanding all around!
The pictures do not do this adorable property justice! The attention to detail in every room in this house was so appreciated! The electric tea kettle was a huge bonus for this tea lover! Such a comfortable house that is decorated beautifully and in a perfect location! An easy 10 minute walk to downtown Lewisburg that is filled with super cute boutique shops and restaurants, A note to renters (and zero fault of the owners), this house is directly across the street from Bucknell so if you’re there on the weekend you will hear kids walking home from the bars 😉😆! Definitely not something that would deter me from renting here again!!!! Owners did an amazing job with this home!
