So cute! Loved the hottub! There was plenty in the kitchen to work with, we were not missing anything! I would say the overall only con is the living/ family room air conditioner. It was working but no matter what you put it on it was so hot in there! Other than that though everything was wonderful!

Absolutely beautiful cabin and property! Very private and secluded. Loved the hot tub and the layout. We will definitely return!

Beautiful property, hot tub did not function, called twice and no one returned the call. Otherwise quite pleasant.

Everything was great, except the hot tub wasn’t working. That was a big disappointment…

Very quiet and enjoyable. No central heat but space heaters and fireplaces kept it cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub. Weather didn’t cooperate so we will have to make a return visit to hike the state park.

This property was very cozy. The only complaint that I have is the hot tub could have been cleaner. There was a ring around the hot tub.

It was a nice little getaway from Holmes county for the weekend. Hocking hills area did not disappoint.

I loved the cabin, the location, the tidiness, the seclusion, the quiet. It made for a great get away.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Edge of the Forest cabin. It was clean, comfortable and felt at home from the time we walked in. The *only* issue I wish I would have known about prior to arriving was that the paths for the trails around the cabins were not really able to be hiked through/on. We love to hike, but were kinda disappointed when we could not walk to far on the paths outlined in the welcome book. I still would not pass up an opportunity to book here again if we are ever able to again!! Thanks for a great weekend!!

The stay started off decent enough but we kept noticing more and more amenities that were didn’t quite function right or were completely broken. Tried asking the owner to come fix the Internet and the satellite but we just got email after email. Never did get it fixed. Hot tub lid was broken almost fell on my girlfriend’s foot while opening it. Broken knife was found in the knife holder.

We had a kid-free weekend and this was a great get-away! It was a beautiful, secluded property but not to far from Hocking Hills where we came to hike. The hot tub was well enjoyed! We appreciated the games & cards that were already there for us, the cabin was clean and spacious with a nice deck for grilling and chilling. We did not have any problems with cell service at the cabin, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall 5/5 stars, would recommend and come again. Thanks!

Stayed with daughter & grandkids. Lots of room to play inside & out. Q quiet retreat.

Just off the beaten path enough that it was quiet, but close enough it was only a short jaunt to Rt 33 and all the attractions. Had a little trouble with the hot tub, it wouldn't come off of 88 degrees, which isn't a big deal, likely user error, haha. Going in the shoulder season, we got to experience the need for both AC and heat, and all of it worked flawlessly. Overall it was an excellent stay, the place was clean and convenient, we would recommend it to anyone, and we would absolutely stay here again if we were in the region.

Beautiful cabin on secluded peaceful property. Got to see lots of birds, a turkey lots of squirrels and a few deer from the back porch. My husband's and I love nature so we really enjoyed the wildlife. Close to Walmart if you need to grab anything, also close to other areas. Fished lake hope and caught lots of bass and some large bluegill!

Couldn’t have asked for a nicer getaway for my wife and I! Loved the hot tub and back deck. Perfect spot to relax after a day of hiking. A couple minor issues (wifi internet is not great but cell data coverage made up for it) but overall a great spot. Note it is up a pretty steep lane, so SUV type vehicles will do better. Would definitely stay here again!

Secluded and private, but close access to town and highway access to get you to trails! The cabin is so cozy and perfect size for a couple or small family. I hope to be able to stay again!

Our stay, here was overall a great experience! Just a few small minor details that could have been different. That would’ve made it even better. It was a great stay.

It was comfort wish weather was better but overall still had a great time.

We loved staying at this cabin! It was so cozy and the perfect size for the four of us. We really enjoyed the hot tub and many games in the cabin.

My husband and I stayed at Forest edge cabin. It was so cute and perfect for our little getaway. We will definitely come back.

The cabin was nice and very clean. The cabin doesn’t have central heat, but relies on fireplaces, radiators, and space heaters for heat. I wish we had known this ahead of time, but once we got used to having to strategically place the space heaters, it wasn’t an issue for us.
We couldn’t connect to WiFi but this wasn’t an issue for us.
The hot tub was wonderful and we got a lot of use out of it. The location of this property at the end of the road is very private.
Great for a couple or small group. The kitchen is nice (especially the oven) but it isn’t well stocked with pots and pans so plan to bring some if you do a lot of cooking.

We enjoyed our stay. private and comfortable cabin. Great hot tub!

I wanted to rent a remote cabin for my son and I for a little camping trip. And we came across this property. It was above and beyond a remote little cabin in the woods. All the property was perfectly clean, floors and furniture for all perfectly clean. The grill and hot tub were in brand new condition. All of the kitchenware was in brand new condition. For a remote little cabin in the woods this was awesome! It was a very excellent experience and we plan on doing it again.

We walked in the front door and the ambiance was so nice. The warm, cabin feel with a hint of Holiday cheer just welcomed us in! The accommodations were lovely. We walked the grounds, had a bon fire and THE HOT TUB… were all wonderful ! Was the perfect little ‘Get Away’ for a 35th Wedding Anniversary.

Overall good. Hot tub???

My husband and I stayed here for two nights to get away and do some hiking. Loved the hot tub on the back deck and the interior of the cabin is lovely. Finding the area was an issue since there is no sign or marker of where the cabins were and we had to call and also get help from a neighbor that happened to be outside to find the driveway. Places to eat was only 12mins or so away and hiking about 30mins. We will probably be back to this cabin. Overall nice experience.

My husband and I really enjoyed this cute cabin on the edge of the woods. It was secluded and had an incredible view of the surrounding forest.

It was me and an old friend from college that decided to spend a long weekend in Hocking Hills and I found this cabin. It was absolutely perfect! I loved the privacy and the peace and quiet it provided! It was very close to all of the major hiking trails and close to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

Overall great cabin
Loved this cabin and the cleanliness of it as well as the items available in the kitchen. Beds and pull out couch not very comfy. Only 2 bath towels in cabin for 3 guests so we had to buy a towel. Hot tub temperature messed up and will go down on its own leaving the hot tub cold the next day. Grill grates rusted and unable to be used without foil on them. Blender did not work properly. Great location for a cabin, secluded and private. Love the electric heaters and propane fireplace in the living room.

Everything was just right. Will be back during the summer to take advantage of the pool!!
