About this villa rental
With year-round amenities, Villa 120 at Giants Ridge is sure to please! Take in the gorgeous views of Wynne lake from the newly updated deck. There are two cozy living areas for guests to hang out and relax. The lower level has a large smart TV and a poker table with a walk-out patio to grills and a picnic table. the lower level features a full bathroom, a sleeping area with a queen bed, and a living space. The main level has a kitchen with a dining table, 2 bedrooms, a full bath, and a living space featuring a gas fireplace. The master bedroom has a television and king size bed and the guest bedroom has a queen size bed. The loft has a full bathroom and three twin beds. Every room has been newly updated with unique touches that will make your stay restful and luxurious.
Guests at the Villas enjoy complimentary use of our outdoor pool and spa, tennis court, pickle ball court, playground area, private lakefront beach with firepits and scenic walking trails along Wynne Lake. Our guests also enjoy easy access to over 135 miles of paved biking trails on the Mesabi Trail which runs next to the Villas. The Villas at Giants Ridge is conveniently located across the street from the Giants Ridge mountain bike park, which is on track to become the largest lift-served bike park in the entire Midwest.
Of course, the Villas is also located between the award-winning Legend and Quarry golf courses. There are 2 paddle boards with optional detachable kayak seats included in your unit and guests of the Villas can rent kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and paddleboats from the welcome center for $35/hour to explore the lake. Wynne Lake offers 278 acres of beautiful scenery and is connected by a narrow channel to Sabin Lake, another 314 acres of water. Northern pike, walleye, sunfish and perch can be found in these waters.
In the winter - Giants Ridge Ski resort is directly across the street for downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, fat tire biking, and tubing. Giants Ridge offers 35 downhill ski runs, over 60 km of the finest-groomed nordic ski trails and the best snowboarding terrain park in Minnesota.
The Villas also provide our guests hassle-free access to 2,000 miles of immaculately groomed snowmobile trails! The snowmobile trails on the Iron Range are also dotted with convenient fuel and dining stops along the way.

Our family stayed with another family for an alpine ski race weekend. Location was great for getting to the ski hills. The decor of the place is adorable. Great spaces: enough beds (and comfortable), nice to have a basement area for kids to be separate from the adults, kitchen was well stocked. There was even shampoo, conditioner & body wash to use, which was amazing since I forgot mine! The host even left a goodie bag for us, which was a sweet gesture. It’d be fun to come back in the summer!

Our family gathering found the villa to have everything we could want. The kitchen was well-stocked and the appliances were in great shape. We loved sitting on the deck for our morning coffee while in the cool breeze and beautiful woods.
We walked down the hill to jump off the dock for fun and also used the paddle boards for our first ever experience. There were no paddles for standing but we sure had fun kneeling.
The younger ones loved the pool snd we all enjoyed the hot tub
The lowest lever of the villa was perfect for evening board games.
The villa was nicely decorated and comfortable.

The pool was very nice. Was hoping for a better beach. We did not rent kayaks as we thought cost for an hour was overpriced.
The villa was nice but we expected the kitchen and living space on main level to be larger. The basement would have been a great space but it was too cold to enjoy. Overall, we had a good stay.

We had a group of 8 family members staying at the property. 6 adults and 2 kids. The kids claimed the upstairs loft and were so happy to have a private space.
The bedrooms were all decent sized and comfortable. The description of the property was accurate. We did not get to utilize the kayaks due to bad weather but did sign the waiver just in case we were able and the owner quickly responded with the code. The golf course is very close and it is a quick (1.5 hour) scenic drive over to the North Shore. We would all highly recommend this place to stay!

Check-in gets 4 stars - the cleaning crew changed the batteries, so the code didn't work. They had to get ahold of the owners to get that fixed. Didn't take too long to get in. It was hard to keep the temp cool on all 3 levels. The basement had office ceiling air vents, whereas the main and loft levels had regular floor vents. So cold in the basement, comfortable on the main level and a little warm in the loft. The view of the lake...there wasn't one, so that was misleading. It would have been nice if there was a way to cover the big windows so the loft wasn't getting drenched in sunlight at 6 am. A tree fell on the power lines across the street knocking out the power. I was suprised at how fast it was taken care of. The villa was roomy enough for the 6 of us. Beds were nice. All in all, a nice place to stay and not too far from places to go.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully appointed villa/cabin; we were there for a wedding at Giants Ridge which made for true convenience!
The layout made our family of 8 feel like everyone had space; we utilized the Standup paddle boards and enjoyed the trails everywhere;

The loft was perfect for the kids and very cute! The two bedrooms on the main floor were spacious and one was for our friend, the other for our 1yo. My husband and I slept in the basement (very nice and comfortable) because we love to sleep in a cold room! The cabin was clean and had a great layout. Loved having all the amenities nearby. Host was easy to talk to. Great experience!

This villa is amazing, updated and cozy! The layout of the villa is great! We skied and it was nice to have it so close to the ski hill. The layout of the villa is great! The best part is the owner! We had a special request and she was able to accommodate us and it was so appreciated.! We hope to stay here again next winter!

We were in town for the High School Boys Ski Section meet at Giant’s Ridge. The villa was in the perfect location to the hill, just right down the street. The villa had everything we needed and plenty of space for 2 families. Beautiful view of the lake as well. Thank you!

Great property and super close to Giants Ridge for our annual ski trip. With kids, it is more of a super quick drive than a walk across the street to ski (walking across the street is possible but gets you closer to Blue and Black hills). Overall, the property was great, lots of room and had everything that we needed. The owner does a great job having a couple extra things in case you need them (toothbrushes, phone chargers, speaker, etc.), very thoughtful and we were welcomed with a gift bag of treats to eat. I would/will stay here again!!!

Perfect spot to reconnect with our family and friends. Accommodations were clean and spacious enough for our group of 10 to enjoy communal time but also have our separate spaces for privacy when needed. Wynne Lake in August is gorgeous, we enjoyed kayaking, swimming, and sitting on the back balcony or dock down at the lake, sipping wine and listening to the peaceful sounds at sunrise and sunset. We also had a blast playing pickle ball. Long walks along the trails in either direction, just outside the front door of the villa were our every day workout. We are vegans, which requires us to make most of our own meals. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including the bonus of a Ninja blender, an essential for our food prep.:) All around splendid property and stay!

Such an outstanding stay! The property was clean, spacious, beautiful and quite frankly, perfect. The golf courses, so near by, are some of the best we have ever golfed. And the LAND LADY, was so hospitable and otherwise accommodating. It will make our golf rotation, we will be back for sure!

We spent 6 nights at the cabin with 9 people. There is plenty of space for everyone and the cabin is well appointed, even has shampoo & conditioner. Cabin was just as pictured. Access to the lake toys and outdoor pool are also very nice. Owner is
