About this house rental

Water Front Newley Renovated 2-bedroom 1-bath cottage with its own entrance. No expense spared. Quality Linens, Smart Televisions in both bedrooms and living room, Sectional sofa, full kitchen and smart locks. This house is appointed with a King Size bed in the Master and a queen size bed in the second bedroom. Very comfortable for 4. This property is situated on a quite water front cove where 4 commercial fishing boats dock. If you get lucky enough you may run into the captain and crew either before or after their trip docking their vessel. Just under 150 steps to Village Blvd in the heart of Johns Pass historic fishing village. Johns Pass offers Shopping, restaurants, outdoor Bars with bands, water sports, tiki boat tours, ice cream shops and Fish Famous Wild Seafood Market at Dons Dock. Come watch a commercial fishing boat unload their catch on the boardwalk above Dons Dock. Or take a quick 5-to-7-minute walk down the boardwalk to our beautiful beach for a day of fun in the sun or to wind down and watch one of our stunning sunsets.

Please bring all personal hygiene products. We will only supply paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap and hand soap.

We have Two Nautica Back Pack 5 position lay back beach chairs in the unit. We have beach towels but they are just basic beach towels like you see at a hotel. If you want the really large beach towels I would recommend bringing.

No Smoking - If you smoke we will charge a $250 Cleaning Fee.

Hubby and I wanted to get back to his hometown to visit friends and to fish. This cottage is located a short walk from the John's Pass Pier and a lot ofwonderful restaurants. The cottage was just as it was described. We didn't do much cooking but it looked like there were all the items needed to do so. The beds were comfy, the AC worked just great... it was a very positive experience. Vicky was responsive and great to work with. That's was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this cottage!

We stay here every year for a "guy's fishing trip". We drive from Atlanta and LOVE this place! It's right behind Jihn's Pass wi6h all of the shopping and dining, the marina and charters. The cottage is roomy and put the back door is the inlet. So, fishing right off the patio! Mgt is very nice and accommodating . The place is always super clean and cold A/C !

We had an amazing stay. Our host was very responsive. The space was spotless and cozy. There was a patio to sit out on and watch the sunset. It was in walking distance to everything. Our host even accommodated us by allowing us to leave our car parked there on checkout day as we were leaving later that evening. Our stay was perfect!

This really is the best kept secret at John's Pass. The location to the boardwalk, restaurants and beach was great. The facility was perfect and suited our needs.

This little bayside 2 bedroom was so cute. It was quiet and very private.but very close to food, shops and the beach. The property management keeps the property clean and they are very easy to contact and communicate with. I hIghly recommend this property if you are wanting a small quiet place to relax and have easy access to eberything in the area.

Right in the thick of it. Very close to all things touristy in John’s pass . Very nice very clean place. Two negative comments garbage collection for the businesses across the street comes early The air conditioning doesn’t work well above 80 degrees. And yes I even looked up an owners manual to make sure I was doing things correctly. Maybe need to be recharged or replaced overall a great place in a great spot and the owner is very easy to communicate with.

Literally as comfortable as if we were home. Enough space in the cottage to relax and not live out of a suitcase. Everything you need to cook if you wish. Centrally located so you don’t have to think ahead about meals. Vicky is the best property owner. Kind and personable. You don’t have to worry about a thing. Best vacation every time when we stay here.

This location is priceless! The location to the Pass is within STEPS!! Not to mention it’s off the main drag a little so the back patio is absolutely peaceful! There are dolphins right by the docks, fish, and beautiful birds that walk right up to the patio. This is the place to be in Madeira! Well worth every penny! The house is clean and tidy, and comes with plenty of bath towels for the weeks stay! Vicky is a fabulous host with wonderful communication. If you’re looking for a place in Madeira…this is IT!!

The location of the cottage is absolutely perfect. A short walk to the beach and unlimited nearby amenities. The space was so clean and the couch was the perfect place to crash after a long day outside(also was a great place to fall asleep). The beds were perfectly firm with ample pillows. *silk pillowcases were a nice touch. The kitchen was useable. My only issue was that there was a lack of containers for cooked food/prep food that you would bring to the beach. So bring your own food containers!

This property was the perfect place for us to stay! We were only in town for a short time. It is just one block from shops, restaurants, the bus stop to go to other areas of the island. Yet it is quiet!!! You do not hear any of the bustle of the area. The owner was very responsive to our needs and accommodations. Very much appreciated!!!!

We were booked for 11 nights. The location was great- walking distance to everything. The cottage had everything you needed and the living area was large and open. The patio was perfect and we had an abundance of wild life to keep us entertained. It was a fantastic stay!!

Perfect location to enjoy the beach and within walking distance to live music, great shopping and John’s Pass. The house is so nice and we loved sitting on the patio watching the dolphins and fishing boats come and go. Vicki and crew are awesome. They made sure we were settled and had everything we need. Vicky was the sweetest to communicate with. We booked this cottage for our honeymoon week as we wanted to be close to the beach and also close to shops and dining so we wouldn't have to drive much. This place is so quiet! It was the perfect spot to sneak away from the worries of the world and enjoy beach life. We hope to stay here again next time!

We absolutely loved our stay! We watched every day for the dolphin, but missed the one day he came. We did get to hand feed cranes off the back yard and caught 3 fish. The home is very comfortable and is walking distance to everything. We will definitely be back soon!

Vicky made everything very simple. Check-in and check-out were easy. The place is out of this world! It is super clean, decorated with taste, had every amenity we needed, and it's super accessible to John's Pass and the beach. There were different birds that would come and visit every day. My son fished off the backyard whenever we weren't out and about. We had a BLAST! It was in the middle of everything but still very peaceful and quiet. I recommend Vicky and her home to anybody and everybody!

I really can't give Vicky's cottage enough praise! It was perfect - from all the basics like the beds, bathroom and living area to the location and the patio with stunning views and the daily visits from the Dolphins! It was my first ever vrbo/homeaway experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better one - everything just as described and it was effortless to deal with Vicky. We can't wait to come back!

We recently stayed in the cottage and it was perfect. The location was a quick walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. The cottage itself was clean, updated and perfect for our family of four. The owners were quick to get back to us on a few questions, and to refill the propane tank on the grill. The view is nice and we were able to see dolphins most mornings. A third boat was docked between the two bigger boats so that did impact our view the last couple of days. One thing to note is there is construction happening on the lot next door and it can get a bit loud at times. Overall, our stay was amazing and we would rent again.

So many of the reviews shared how comfortable this place was - and it was! So many of the reviews shared how close it was to John’s Pass - and it was! So many reviews shared how easy it was to get to the beach - and it was! So many reviews shared of seeing dolphins while sitting on the patio - and we did! Seriously. The amenities of this place were many. And all were in good shape. Nothing seemed out-of-date or overly worn out. I completely enjoyed returning to this space every time I walked in the door.

My husband and I loved everything about our 2 week stay here. Location could not have been better - about 3 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to the Boardwalk at John’s Pass. The cottage was very clean and included everything we needed. Vicky communicated well regarding the checking in and out process. Would highly recommend to others and would definitely stay here again if we return to Madeira Beach. Thanks Vicky!

My friend and I specifically came to FL because of this listing we saw on VRBO. It did not disappoint! Clean, inviting, fully stocked coffee bar in the kitchen, beach chairs out in the living room ready for our arrival. We saw so many fish and dolphins right outside our door. The street may seem strange since the front of the house faces the back of the main strip, but once inside it's such an inviting retreat. And only steps away from shops, restaurants, beaches, etc. Loved our stay so much!!

The cottage was perfect! Pictures don’t do it justice. The property manager was very helpful and responded to our questions in a timely manner. She was extremely easy to work with. We would absolutely stay here again. The view of the water is an added bonus. The location was great, a two minute walk to John’s Pass.
