About this house rental

Wonderful floor plan for entertaining, lots of room for guests, huge pool (heated pool available Fall 2023)*. All very large bedrooms, beautifully decorated and wood floor throughout. Enjoy a spectacular view of the sparkling swimming pool, garden, seasonal fireworks, partial view of the Gulf of Mexico. Grab your towels and hit the beach only a few houses down from the beach access! We also have a bar/deck grill by the pool and play area for kids!!!

1st floor distribution:
-Garage

- 1 King size bedroom with full bathroom and closet.

2nd floor:
-Entry door

-Daybed room (2 twin beds)

3rd floor:
-Bunk beds bedroom (2 bunk beds, 2 twin beds each) (4 total)

Outdoor:
- Private HEATED pool and SPA*
- Dining table for 6 to eat outside.
- Grill, propane tank provided but may not be filled with gas, you may fill out the gas at a very close convenient store.

House supplies: Shampoo, conditioner and body wash on each bathroom, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap. Beach towels, beach chairs and utility cart to load things and take them to the beach available. =)

House occupancy is for 12 guests (includes children and infants), but we can allow a 14 guest occupancy.
Pet Restriction: Not Pets allowed. (If you own a service dog please contact property manager). (Cats and other animals are NOT permitted.

There are exterior cameras in the property, and they will only be used under a threat of damaging the property, like a neighbor reporting disturbance in the property due to large size parties or if the police requests access to the cameras. There are no indoor cameras. Exterior cameras locations are disclosed in welcome guide.

*Heated pool disclosure: Pool Heat will only be used between October to April reservations. Pool and Hot Tub heat separately. If Hot Tub is on, Pool will not be heating up. We do not recommend turning on the Hot Tub for more than 1 hour if not being used. Pool heating takes 24-36 hours to become effective after being turned on. Under temperatures below 60 degrees Fahrenheit no residential pool heater will be able to work and properly heat a pool under these weather conditions. The Pool water heater will heat 10-20 degrees above the ambient air temperature. If weather is below 60 degrees Fahrenheit temperature in the Pool will not go above 80 degrees. If weather is below 60 degrees Hot Tub will take at least 2 hours to heat up. Pool heaters will not be turned on and will not work when temp is 55 or below due to safety cut off & fire risk to heater. Pools typically cool overnight.

We were going when the hurricane was around. The host was so helpful in so many ways with helping us navigate the hurricanes paths and making decisions on weather to go to the island or not. The house was great, big enough for us all and had everything we needed.

Three families stayed here for our annual friend vacation. Lots of room, everything you could want in the kitchen and very close to the beach. We had one issue with the pool on our first day and it was taken care of the next morning. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Property was nicer than expected . Everything was clean and ready . Everything we needed was provided . Pool area was great . Beds were nice and comfy. Lots of beach gear available . My wife and I already plan on a return trip. I would recommend this property as a fantastic place for a nice retreat/vacation . Also, it’s 2 blocks from the beach . Very quiet at night . Relaxing !

This house was perfect. the main living area was on the 2nd floor. A bedroom and bath on the first, and 3 bedrooms on the 3rd floor. It had lots of amenities. A beautiful pool, a putting green and a hopscotch in the backyard. It provided floats, boogie boards, wagons to cart your stuff to the beach. The beach was a short maybe 5 min. walk. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, dishes, seasonings to cook with. They provided quality bath gel, shampoo, and conditioner. We would defiantly rent this house again.

Excellent location, spacious home and awesome pool! We were 10 ladies celebrating our 60th birthday and had an amazing time! We loved the proximity to town and the beach! We definitely would stay again!

We loved this place and almost everything about it! It's literally a 3 minute walk to the beach. The pool was wonderful! The rooms and house were spacious, clean and comfortable. There were 2 things that kept it from being perfect: the hot tub wasn't hot enough for me (it heats to 102 degrees) and there wasn't enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi tub in the upstairs master's bath. Other than those 2 things, absolutely perfect!

We had a great time. Family and friends traveled to south padre to surprise my dad for his 70th birthday. The house was great because it allowed us ample space to hang out. No issues and property was as advertised.

Property was a great fit & spacious for a large group of all age ranges to have their own areas. All the kids loved the pool & spa, enjoyed the pool toys provided, & especially liked the 3-story porch to keep water from being tracked throughout the whole house. Location was ideal for a walk to the beach with kids also, not far at all for a beach access. Would stay again at this location next trip.

House accommodated all of us and was clean upon arrival. Thin walls and can hear everything. Dead cockroaches in a bedroom and live ones in the kitchen. She wanted to send someone while we were getting ready for a wedding to treat. We will need to put everything outside when we get home and treat to make sure we did not bring any home. Diverter in downstairs tub does not drain. Pool was nice but takes a bit to warm up as it is not on the entire time.

We stayed with 3 families over Thanksgiving, ages 6 months-12 years. I reached out to the host about kitchen supplies to make Thanksgiving dinner, and she went above and beyond to have the house stocked with everything we needed. The house had tons of supplies (laundry soap, dishwasher pods, towels). The house was perfect for kids and I was able to use a brand new pack n play for our baby. I was worried about space, but we ended up fitting in the house just fine. The location was excellent and we went back and forth from the beach multiple times a day. The pool and spa were confusing, we were expecting a hot spa and warm pool, but it was cold. It didn’t bother us, and we never reached out about it. The house in general is getting run down, but it worked just fine for what we needed. Ultimately when the host goes above and beyond, that makes it a great VRBO.

We loved our stay at this house. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils to make meals for the family. We have 3 young children and we felt very comfortable that the living space is above the first floor and not easy access for the kids to wander off. The house in general is very kid friendly. The only concern was the stairs from the kitchen to downstairs, but we blocked with some obstacles and everything was fine. Would definitely come back and stay again!

Beautiful house, great location, refreshing pool! Casa Gardenia was perfect for our family getaway. Plenty of room for six adults and two children. The large dining table was perfect for family meals prepared in the well stocked kitchen. Many extra amenities were provided and appreciated, such as beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, kitchen spices, etc. The WiFi worked great. The beach is just a short walk away with many beach items provided by the hostess. Beautiful sandy beaches which were not crowded. The pool was very refreshing and the perfect depth for the two children in our family. Conveniently located to many shops and restaurants, too. We could view the summer fireworks from the top deck which was an added bonus. We had no issues during our stay but knew the property manager was available if needed. I highly recommend Casa Gardenia and would stay there again.

The bedroom configuration was perfect for our family with 7 adults and 6 kids under 13 and also very quiet with 3 floors. The living space has enough room for kids to play. It is in a quiet neighborhood a very short walk to the beach, easy with little ones, and the house provides wagons for beach gear. We cooked inside and on the grill and ate all our meals at the house. A/C works great, too. The pool is a good size and depth for kids with a shallow ledge for babies and adults watching kids. The water was warm but that’s summer in Texas. Adriana was great and answered any questions we had. Don’t hesitate to stay at Casa Gardenia! We had a wonderful time.

The house is beautiful and has just about everything needed to run a home. You can take your own supplies but for the most part there’s something available for you to work with like spices and cleaning supplies. Two major things that made me rate this house with three stars were 1. The pool needed cleaning. 2. The jetted tub on the master bedroom needed cleaning. We bought bleach tablets for the pool, you could see little something’s in there and water was not clear. The tub upstairs I used and winded up with a yellow ring at the top of my soap suds. Other than that this house was great. Large, comfy beds and close to the beach. It does have lots of stairs. The decks need a little touch ups. Definitely recommend the stay here if you don’t mind these types of things

Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. Very close to beach. Enjoyed the hot tub, but does take a long time to warm up. Lots of kitchen utensils and cookware. Not a place to stay if stairs bother you. Quiet neighborhood and close to many restaurants and shops.
