Great place if a little musty smelling but I chalk that up to sitting

We were delighted with Edgecomb cottage. The view across the river to Wiscasset and the bridge was beautiful. Everything you would need is there, kitchen, table,( with stellar view,) sofa, and outdoor seating. We loved it! The best part was our pet was able to share that with us!

We loved everything about this home. Just wished we could stay longer!

The village had very few occupants so we enjoyed the peace and quiet. I have watched this village over 60 years and finally was able to stay a few nights.
We were not able to find a hairdryer so some bad hair days were present, otherwise a nice stay.

Clean, well maintained cottage right on the water. Beautiful views looking over the river. Great location connecting to many local points of interest. Comfortable and relaxing place to return to at the end of each day. The owner was very accommodating and communicative.

A perfect spot to enjoy some outside time in the Midcoast and shop in Damariscotta, browse the bookstore and have a nice meal at King Eider's. I'm on school break and just wanted to get away for a couple of days not too far from home.

We have stayed on this property several times- in different cabins and the lodge. This cabin is very clean and well taken care of. The unobstructed view of River is beautiful, especially at sunset. I think this is the cabin we will call “home” now whenever we visit the Edgecomb/Damariscotta area.

It was a nice location right on the water. Great long pier for walks with the dogs. SUPERB location if you are going to see Gardens Aglow in boothbay. The cottage was heated up for us with lights on when we arrived. Definitely dog friendly with dog bowls and bed provided.
I cant give 5 stars due to the fact that the water heater was small and my wife had to rush to take her shower. Another issue that arose was the internet and tv were not able to connect to the internet. The information provided to obtain access would not work. Kept popping up under B9 not 99. The box says it was ready, but it would not take the password. Tried several attempts to manually put it in and still could not access tv or internet during our stay.
Overall, If the internet and tv worked my wife would have been happier as she needed it for her work.
It was a quaint nice cottage on the water with beautiful views. Have had previous stays with you and I would definitely stay again. Thank you for a clean comfy cottage experience on the water.

My daughter and i are starting new traditions and loved our stay! We were at the ocean all day and came to the cabin and heated up homemade turkey pie and enjoyed a feast overlooking the river. The cabin was cozy and perfect for our time. We woke up to a chilly morning perfect for reading our books and drinking tea before heading out. Thank you!

We used this as our base for our 3 day stay of touring the coast. Made a day trip to Arcadia National Park. The fall colors were amazing.

Beautiful view, extremely clean and well decorated, great amenities (washer, dryer, plenty of towels, channels, and cooking options), and overall wonderful sigh away from standard hotels. Thank you!

This cottage is well appointed & relaxing. It was nice to be able to walk to have dinner at The Water's Edge. I'm used to sleeping in a dark room so found the need to block the light coming from the various electronic devices & turn off the LED on the heat pump. I would recommend getting rid of the alarm clock in the bedroom since most people have alarms on their phones should they feel the need to set one. This will avoid waking a guest in the middle of the night, as happened to me the first night. After this occurred, I simply unplugged the clock since there were multiple settings & it was difficult to know if it might go off again.
All in all though, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The cottage was adorable. It was perfect for a quick get away with a few friends.

This place was everything it was listed to be! The cottage couldn't be any closer to the water and the views were gorgeous! Especially the view of the little town of Wiscasset across the river. We went in the off season and it was so quiet amd peaceful. The cabin has everything you need including a washer and dryer. The furniture and bed was comfortable. Unloading was easy as you can park right at the steps going inside. We arrived a day early and the owner made it extremely easy to add another day. We received a code for the door before arrival so there really was no check-in process! We will definitely be booking again in the future. We didn't take pets, but they even had a beautiful dog bed and bowls on the sun porch. The heat worked very well and we had access to adjust it as needed. Perfect place for a romantic get away! It is not a big place, but we had plenty of room for the two of us. The bathroom and bedroom were fairly large and the water pressure in the shower was good too. You won't be disappointed!

A perfect fit for me, my husband and our dogs for a weekend in Maine. The view is ridiculously beautiful and the nearby towns were fun to explore, even in December!

This place was perfect for what we needed, a place to gather and work on our family ancestry together. It had everything we needed and everything it promised. It was in a quiet little community, fun to walk in with a long pier, fun little roads and a state park close enough to walk to and enjoy when we needed a break from our project. We also found some fun restaurants to get our dinners and had what we needed to fix ourselves breakfast and lunch. Thank you for providing this for us!

This was a very clean cottage. Location on the water made for beautiful sunsets.
It had all amenities we needed. It helped to know ahead of time that there was not an oven or stove. Hot plate and microwave were all we needed for food prep. We would definitely rent this again.

great long weekend stay
The cottage was dog friendly, had a beautiful view, and had everything we needed to explore the area. The neighborhood was super quiet and nicely landscaped. Loved our stay.

The property is wonderful - small but clean and cozy! The only thing I would recommend is that you let potential guests know that the kitchen is limited with no oven (conventional) and just a two-burner hot plate. We eat out, so no problem for us, but had I come up with ingredients to make a special meal, I would be very disappointed in the appliances there.

Relaxing
We had a nice time relaxing and watching beautiful sunsets…The cottage even had a doggie bed and dishes…it’s nice to stay at a dog friendly place.
