About this house rental
Welcome to our "Yellowstone Country Home," located in Livingston, Montana, the original rail gateway to Yellowstone National Park!
Our "Yellowstone Country Home" is the perfect fit for families and friends who want to day-trip and explore all that the Yellowstone region has to offer. It is a clean and cozy basecamp with lots of room for large groups to spread out. It has a bohemian 'mountain-vibe' that celebrates the history of the Greater Yellowstone region and has all the creature comforts of home. It is a fully furnished 5-bedroom 2.5 bath home with a master suite, theater room, library nook, game/exercise room, deck, and a large fenced-in yard. It is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Livingston and two scenic nature trails.
Details of the house -
The main floor has an open floor plan with 2 bedrooms (w/queen beds), a full bath, living room with TV and large windows, dining room, kitchen, and a pantry, which have all of the items you'll need for meal preparation. Stepping outside, a wrap-around deck features two separate eating areas, highlighted by a private nook for relaxing and dining in the Montana outdoors.
The lower level features an entertainment room complete with a 75-inch TV and sound system for "movie nights" and a separate Library Nook where you can relax and have some quiet time with a book or regional magazine from our collection. Downstairs you will also find the Master bedroom suite (King bed) with a walk-in tiled shower and a large extra room with a small crib, and the last 2 bedrooms, (1 queen, 1 trundle) one of which contains a desk for anyone working away from home.
The game room/workout area is equipped with a ping pong table, darts, stationary bike, elliptical and rowing machine.
What really makes this VRBO special is the beauty that surrounds it: The home is just north of Paradise Valley and countless access areas to rivers and national forests, 1 mile to Sacajawea Park on the Yellowstone River, and 55 miles to the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Two different trail systems are easily accessed down the block for after-dinner strolls.
Livingston, MT is a funky mountain town where "cowboys and artists meet." It is located on the north end of the Yellowstone ecosystem and is surrounded by the majestic Absaroka Mountains and lies on the Yellowstone River. This area offers a unique western experience - whether you wish to explore the rugged outdoors, wildlife watching, fly-fishing, whitewater rafting, and hiking, or take in an eclectic blend of art galleries, museums, golf courses, live theaters and options for casual or fine dining. During the summer months, Livingston offers a family-friend farmer's market with live music every Wednesday evening. There's nothing better than enjoying the river and breathtaking scenery with kind and friendly people. During the winter months, Livingston is a 45-min drive to ski Bridger Bowl, and just over an hour to Big Sky and Showdown Mountain. You'll find plenty to do here in any season, and if you need assistance with an itinerary, just let us know, and we'll do what we can to help.
We are here to serve you and aim to please. So, come stay with us! We'd love to help make your wild west adventure a memorable one!

The property was perfect for 10 adults and one toddler. Jessica was very responsive, available, and helpful during our entire stay. The house is decorated and very functional for a large family. She has setup the house with everything you could need from cooking utensils to toddler toys. The setup for seating in both family rooms was well though-out. We will defiantly stay here again when the whole family comes. Thanks for a great experience.

Our visit to Montana was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The stay at this home made it even more memorable. My extended family made the trip to attend my son's wedding at Chico Hot Springs. Livingston was the perfect home base location. The home is beautiful, spacious, very comfortable and inviting. The whole family loved it. Our host, Jessica, was very helpful and accommodating. Everything about our stay was extraordinary and I would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely home.

We gathered our kids and grandkids and headed out to Livingston and landed in this beautiful home that was spacious and cared for and in a perfect location nearby the wedding festivities… Chris and Jessica helped us in many different ways and we were so grateful for their thoughtful caring support as we navigated Organizing the trip… It was also in a perfect location for heading to Yellowstone national park on our last day and showing our grandkids some of the beauty and grace and heaven on earth in that park… Thank you so much to Jessica and Chris and their daughter Julia…

This is a great property. We gathered with family, had plenty of room and the home has everything you need. The furniture and rooms were set up for complete comfort and the nearby walking paths had great views of Montana beauty. The hosts were gracious and we would stay again in a heartbeat. We will be building our own mountain home in Arizona soon and will use some key interior ideas from this property. Thank you to our hosts. I rate this property highly!!!

Everyone enjoy the accommodations. Plenty of room and comfortable beds.
We were a bit curious about where to take the trash and recycling. Loved the view out the back window. We were able to see our cousin’s house on the hill.
